    1200 cc on 883 cc heads ? is that sucking through a straw ? - doing the head teardown - pocket port a little clean polish valves ? seems backwards to me ? - s pent $3,5oo on the block - and $7,000 on the heads ! - 8,200 rpm brian crower components !

    • @cheesingarage
      @cheesingarage 3 дні тому

      You are correct! The head is going to be the bottle neck on the power here and that is also why I didn't bother with any cams. This is more of a budget build than a high power build. That being said, this should still bring it from its ~40hp to ~70hp, which is significant. Some head work would bump those number up considerably higher, but its not in the budget for me right now. Sounds like you have a hell of a build there! That's probably 120+ hp! Is that thing a blast to ride? You should post some pictures or videos of it

    I have a 1998 fatboy with an evo second gen . So all you need it’s that unit and the coil , you just disconnect the oem module under the seat ? Do you have to bypass any of the original wiring from the Oem module . “Not the ignition pick up down in the engine that gets discarded .

    PS: you DO know that you can purchase new keystone bars that are internal wiring ready for like $80 bucks right? That way you won't sheer off the casings and ground out your wires after fishing them through a drill hole. But hey whatta I know, only been working on hogs for 31yrs

      No actually I didn't know that, can you share the link to those? I never claimed to be an expert here, this is my first time doing this type of build. I am just building my bike and sharing the progress along the way. Always happy to hear tips and criticism from people who know more than me. Thanks for watching!
