*FINAL QUESTION ANSWER* . . . . You could deal 4 damage to your opponent in total. During the first combat step, you would assign 1 lethal point of damage to Mirran Crusader and then trample 2 over to the opponent. And because Mirran Crusader has protection from Green, they'll survive the Deathtouch damage, meaning when it comes round to the second combat damage step, Mirran Crusader is still blocking the Mantis. So you can assign another 1 point of lethal damage to the Crusader and 2 to your opponent.
This is probably the main reason I play MtG ARENA. This was I can see how certain things play out, assuming they don't scoop as soon as I start smackin' them around. Certain things are hard to see, like Ninjutsu after combat damage but before 2nd Main phase. The first time I saw Deathtouch + 1st strike decimate my creatures and my feelings was on ARENA and I wondered why I never thought of the combo myself. Excellent video, I'm subscribing. I hope you have a Ninjutsu video, I want to know all I can about one my favorite abilities.
Had to look up most of these at some point since i built a Kathril, Aspect Warper deck, so i could answer the quizes, tho the last one was a bit tricky Thank you for putting all this info in a well explained and easy to follow video, now i have something to send to my friends when Kathril's keyword interactions confuse them
loved the joke at the end wish wotc would do something with last strike at least. i think it would be a fun way balancing some cards around that also can't wait to rewatch this 4 million times because for some reason double strike is something that i keep forgetting how this works
What about Kaldra Compleat? I assume the line of text “Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a creature, exile that creature.” means that the equipped creature only has to deal 1 damage to a blocker, which exiles it, then tramples over the rest of the damage. Is that right?

Also your Tangle Mantis would die after normal damage step due to state based actions.
if it instead had indestructible, would the result then be 5 instead?
This is really funny timing. I just put together a deathtouch deck with a lot of trample synergies! Great work as always!
