I use a combo of Arnica gel, CBD cream and an infrared heating pad *at night) and a sturdy knee brace (by day) all for my knee. This system is not "perfect" and does not last 24/7 but it does help with the pain and throbbing at night so I can go back to sleep. The heating pad just feel wonderful too! This protocol helps me be able to walk my energetic dog up to 5 miles per day - all this at age 72 as well!

I went to a whole foods plant based diet with very reduced oil, and it has made a HUGE difference with my knee and hand arthritis. Also, this is strange, but there is science that says that topically applying extra virgin olive oil to the skin around the joint helps, and I've been trying it. It works!!! It's crazy! It helps with my hands so much it's almost like I don't have arthritis there any more. My knee is really really shot and I need a knee replacement, but the doctors won't do it because I'm on immune suppressants for myasthenia gravis. The olive oil does help with the knee as well though, but not as dramatically as in my hand. Anyway, I always love this channel and I'll be trying these techniques as well. BTW I also was having shoulder pain and I've been doing the exercises and stretches from Bobo and Brad, and it is practically gone. The knee exercises help greatly as well. So normal physical therapy is indispensable in addressing these problems.

Plant based is really the way to go if you want to live a long healthy life. I have quit eating sugar...still have pain. Changed my whole diet to: 1) no sugar, and I mean no sugar! 2) low to virtually no carbs. 3) No seed oils of any kind. 4) No processed food of any kind...it has a label with more than 3 or 4 ingredients, don't touch it. 5) On OMAD, (One meal a day) 6) fasting 36 hours once a week, I smell the ketones in my urine, so I know I am on the right track. 7) I check my glucose and ketones with my ketone monitor and chart my daily readings. 8) use hot and or ice packs.
I literally can go on and on...my arthritic pain will not subside and pain meds help but only a little.
So I must be a special case. Even cortisone shots in my hips and lower back do very little.

I have arthritis in both my knees and it started to affect my left pelvis now. I'm 45 now but to spare the details, the interesting thing I realized is that since I was 15 (when I was diagnosed) I gradually stopped taking long hot baths once a week in favor of quick showers and my arthritis gradually got worse. It might NOT be connected but the thing is what I do sometimes these days is when my hands are feeling it I fill up the sink with hot water and leave them in there for about 10 minutes.
My hands don't just feel better but I feel mentally happier and relaxed too.
I'm trying to get the council to install a bath but they wont without a letter from my knee specialist which has been more than convoluted to say the least. Nothing against my specialist, he's great. It's just all the red tape that goes along with health admin.
Anyway ty Bob & Brad. Love you guys forever :D

Polar bears dont have ice holes... I was all set, but I ran out there and couldn't locate the bears ice hole... Then it noticed me standing there and it chased me home... All that blood flow an circulation has relieved my aches and pains though.
Still don't have a polar bear though. Your advice is bad and dangerous. Next time I try this, I am first going to study polar bear get an idea where their ice holes are located... They are definitely NOT on top of the head like a whale... There was a hole on the rear end, but it was not ice that came out of there...
