OMG. How much grief has a graduated Bob given me !! The comfort alone , of cutting horizontally is a huge bonus . This is a much better approach to cutting a Graduated Bob. Thanks a million from Australia for your extremely valuable and clearly explained videos 🏆👍.

Help!!! I had a stylist who was WONDERFUL👍👌 He cut and explained very much as you do. However he had to retire from medical issues. I HAVE BEEN DESPERATELY SEEKING SOMEONE WHO CAN DO THIS !!! I live in southeast Georgia and have gone to several "persons" whom I ask to watch this video. They assured me they could style just as you do. 😡😡😡 Worse hack jobs ever. It takes several months for hair to grow out enough to try another stylist. IF ANYONE READING THIS HAS ANY INFORMATION THAT COULD HELP ME, PLEASE POST RESPONSE 😥😥
How do you keep the hair pin straight while cutting? It's very important that the hair doesn't curl when cutting for the outcome to be very precise. Thank you.

I am not a stylist but I have had many bobs, some great, some terrible. I have always had a difficult time explaining that I need less weight or whatever the issue is. Thanks for giving me the right vocabulary.

Why is one side longer than the other? I had my hair cut like this along my part line and now if I don't get exactly lined up where it was cut along the part line there is more hair on one side. It looks stupid.
I wish you were around here. I went in to get a bob haircut and got butchered. she was thinning shears in my hair and took out tons of my hair. I don't even know how to get it fixed anymore.

I have a bit of a weird q: So I've been struggling for some time now to find a good hairdresser - they all seem to be lazy, and rather than cut my hair keeping in mind the shape of my head, they all tend to pull these massive sections up to one point, cut it straight across, and call it a haircut. All this does is cause weird shapes in my thick wavy hair. So I hate the cuts. It's so bad, I've done better cutting my hair myself >.<
Photo Flair I suggest you to cut your hair by yourself. You will never going to be happy with any stylists. Don’t test them and be rude. I bet they try hard to make you satisfied with some haircuts you ask them which it might not suits you. You know your hair better than anyone else. Find a right style for you and stick with it. If you want them to help you, listen. If you don’t want it, do it by yourself. It works better for some people. Sorry if it sounds offensive to you.

Your work always seems to be very neat, but in the end I find edges and other mistakes in the cuts. You're not really working professional. Or is it the bad light of the camera?
Think it might be the highlights in the hair. It has some blonde bits that aren't blended.

Hi I've just finished my level 1 started my basic cutting for level 2. But cud I get some advice when I'm cutting I always seem to loose my guide line am I taking to thick of sections down or am I just looseing my way through the cut please help love your videos really easy to follow

Hi Matt. I've always hated doing a graduated bob because of that behind the ear connection to the sides. (I know, elevation and angle are the keys) While your videos help to refresh my Pivot Point training it would be a big help if when you use the overhead shot around 9:57 you would also show it from the side so I can see all angles of that section better. Sometimes the overhead doesn't allow for a complete visual of the both overhead and side angle that you're cutting. I love your teaching style - very detailed and informative. Great job! Thanks

Love this cut. The overdirection of the hairline at the forehead is KEY. It allows that hair to fall at the side rather than fall into the face. I cut my own hair which is brastrap length using a similar method.
I wish i can see on a real person. I know doll heads are real hair, but actual clients with different hair types would help. Like thick wavy hair
