Sad the Z us automatic, manual is a lot of the fun in my Z. The Camaro definitely has more straight line speed but in the canyons, the Z is a beast and is so rewarding to drive. If you want to take on some muscle cars, force induction and you’re good
Code Cody yeah I don’t understand the people saying that the Camaro gets outhandled by the Z. The alpha chassis in the Camaro is flat out one of the best handling platforms in recent times. I’m not ashamed to admit my VQ would get handily spanked in the corners; the Camaro is just that good.

i like jdm cars im a jdm car guy , but i look at all cars from all places and love them and i got to tell you , THE NEW CAMARO IS A BEAST not only drag but a TRACK beast the camaro platform is faster then most supercars around the nurburgring , people should respect cars from all over the world , especially the new "muscle cars" but now they are proper sports cars putting to shame even the best jdm supercars like the NISMO GTR and alot of euro cars too in the corners , so if you live in america you should really start look into your domestic beasts in a different light , cuz they are AMAZING on the track , in my country we have like 2 SS ZL1 1LE and one of them is setting records in local tracks against one of a few GT3RS! we look at the camaro like A SUPER CAR BTW THE 370Z is a very good handling car its still competitive against cars like the BMW M2
I almost got a Camaro and so glad I didn't. I wouldn't be happy looking at it everyday. Stock for stock, I'll take the 370z and for modded I'd still take the Z. Both cars are great, but my main go to is looks since you can change out parts and make either car faster

I Use to drive a 5.0, not gonna lie the Nismo Z definitely lives up to its name. Ran an fbo 370z nismo w/no tune, gave him the hit twice, almost didn’t pass him until 130mph. If he was tuned I don’t think I’ll would’ve beat him. Mustang had exhaust and intake only tho.
I really like both cars, my mom has 2013 ss and it's fun and comfy. When I was looking for a new car I was looking at a bunch, one being 370z. That was my close second, but the s2000 beat it for me
I love 370z's as I own a 370z, but a 6th gen Camaro SS with the 1LE package is the best of both worlds! You get a car from the factory that you can take straight to the track.
I go with the 370z, why? Cause you can modify the horse power you need, plus it's a light vehicle then the camaro. Hell I seen you tube video where a modify 370z with tremendous horse power beat a dodge hell cat. I mean literally smoke the dodge hell cat. I ve also seen a you tube video where they modify the 370z engine into a V8, with other modifications, and pushibg 900 horse power. Overall I go with the 370z.
I bought a 370z the day before yesterday. It's immediately my favorite car among all the ones I've owned or ever driven. I'm sure if I hopped in a Camaro, the shock and awe I'm experienced with the 370z's power and responsiveness would quickly be overshadowed, but at present, I adore the thing. All stock, with no intention of ever modifying. I don't think it needs it, and frankly, 95% of every modification I've ever seen on a car like this just makes it look tackier.
There's always a lot of U.S based bashing of the Z, but where I live if you want an affordable newer, 2 door coupe with a powerful engine with a rwd drive train there isn't much else. We don't have the muscle cars available you do unless you import them and then you might as well get something else locally for the price. Otherwise you're getting a brz or mx5
@@Sneaky5.sl0w. Motor Trend said the Camaro was faster on the drag strip most of the time, but the Mustang was faster on a salt flat (basically in the long run). When it comes to the track though the Camaro is usually faster. The GT PP2 puts up similar lap times to the SS 1LE, but needs stickier tires to do so, and isn't as communicative.
pretty much with the 370z you get literally the most reliable tuner car ever. Also in the tuner category I'd say it's still one of the fastest on paper... it beats sti's that's all you need to know. If you do want to go with a turbo there are plenty of kits out there you just have to drive to get it tuned. They are pricey but you will probably still spend less than the camaro guy and by that time you will be wayyyyyyyy faster too
@@patrickhalbeisen1440 There's no point throwing on FI on the 370z at that point. May as well get a car that can handle boost from factory. this is pretty similar to computer specs of a 6 core vs 8 cores. Amd 6 AM3+ cores is like nissan. Cheap and does what you want for the price. Intel is like the i7 3900k, gaming performance, all the bells and whistles. Similar core speed [3.5-4.2 o.c. configurable] does cost twice as much as the amd but has a handful of features. AMD also get a decent MB chassis you can reuse and replace other components. Seriously these concepts are really cool. you're making a machine and giving it personality. PERSONALLY I own an Infiniti q40 so im already VQ biased. But man I love that sound!! Very discting although I admit the camero does sound good but that VQ just gets me. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE a 2016 SS but its just out of my price range [because I built a computer obviously] When sport cars go under 20k ESP Like this camero or even a Mustang GT it would be worth it. 15-20k for a 10 year sport car plus 3k of mods will easily have similar specs to a modern 1-2 year old sport car that msrps at $46k [STI/Q50s/GT/RS/SUPRA/Z4/CHALLENGER] you name it. But I guess it also depends where you live and how much work you get. Some people can use their car to make money, some make money to use on their car. Regardless, cars are amazing machines. You shouldn't cheap out on parts if you want it to work a long time.
Well still for the price tag, well from what I hear Camero is over price...40k nty when Ford offers 2020 for 30k an on a Ford sale can get it for 25k an that’s with the V8 460hp... no offense but I’m a stang fan an a Z fan so no cammy for me.. plus z on boost would destroy the cammy.

He was so biased and admitted it. The Z is half the price of the Camaro? Well no not really...the 370Z is still sold new with almost no changes from the 2013 you have. So if you compare a new NISMO 370Z it's actually more expensive than a Camaro SS, and comparable to the SS 1LE. BULLSEYE good buddy. That's why I own a 17 Black Nismo. What folks don't understand is the handling, aerodynamics superiority of the Z. Plus, that 350 bhp is more like 400+ when you figure it isn't spinning a huge steel pipe. The driveshat is carbon fiber.....so the Z delivers more real power to the rear axles.

❤️❤️❤️
It’s a nice looking economy car
Sad the Z us automatic, manual is a lot of the fun in my Z. The Camaro definitely has more straight line speed but in the canyons, the Z is a beast and is so rewarding to drive. If you want to take on some muscle cars, force induction and you’re good
I wish it was manual too but I still love it! 🤘
I’d challenge that one. A 1LE SS has wider front tires than the Z has rear tires AND they both weigh the same.
The Camaro stomps the 370 in every way. It's not even close.
Why do people care about how other people shift their car? I never understood this.. none of you will drive their car.
I'm so happy that Fitment Industries shows love to the 370z's :,)
I daily my 10 Z and I love it.
Just picked up a z. 6 speed manual. Exhuast and tune done. I love it. So much fun to drive. No regrets

Without hesitation i’d choose the 2SS.

@@thetangentshow4797 actually no 😂 I wanted a 370, but I live in Michigan so I needed the AWD. I found out about the Skyline thing after I bought it
You know some people like 15 year old v6 engines that use more oil than tanning salons.
I have a 2014 Taurus SHO because I wanted awd in the winter. It’s my winter beater and beat on it I do.
What timing. I'm currently in the dilemma of keeping my 370z or trading for a 2SS 1 LE or GT350...can't beat the looks of the Z and honestly it's a blast to drive. I've just always wanted a V8...may just end up waiting so I can keep the Z and have both.
If you're craving power and don't want to spend $10k+ on boosting the Z I would go with 2SS 1LE all day!
350 is OP
Chevy build better engines than Ford. I am a truck driver and I have delivered freight to Ford plant. I would not trust them with anything.
S2000 or boosted Miata?
S2k
Boosted Miata is a literal v8 killer. Do u want to go fast and lose the handling and just drive fast in a straight line or be canyon carver
s2000 hands down
Kswaped Miata
S2K
Personally I like the Frankensteins (engine swaps). A 350z with a LS swap is like perfect to me, and you can still do all the turbo stuff to the V8

i like jdm cars im a jdm car guy , but i look at all cars from all places and love them and i got to tell you , THE NEW CAMARO IS A BEAST not only drag but a TRACK beast the camaro platform is faster then most supercars around the nurburgring , people should respect cars from all over the world , especially the new "muscle cars" but now they are proper sports cars putting to shame even the best jdm supercars like the NISMO GTR and alot of euro cars too in the corners , so if you live in america you should really start look into your domestic beasts in a different light , cuz they are AMAZING on the track , in my country we have like 2 SS ZL1 1LE and one of them is setting records in local tracks against one of a few GT3RS!
we look at the camaro like A SUPER CAR
BTW THE 370Z is a very good handling car its still competitive against cars like the BMW M2
I almost got a Camaro and so glad I didn't. I wouldn't be happy looking at it everyday. Stock for stock, I'll take the 370z and for modded I'd still take the Z. Both cars are great, but my main go to is looks since you can change out parts and make either car faster
LOL. Stock for Stock Camaro is better. Modded for Modded Camaro is better.

I like both, but I think I'd go with the Z. I love the way it handles
The Camaro handles better. That is not subjective, it is pure fact. Your feelings won’t change that. Google it, get your feelings hurt.
I love my 2018 Camaro 2SS, it’s my perfect, modded daily driver, I love it!

sounds amazing! do you have an instagram page for your car?
370z = Japanese Mustang
Not very accurate. Mustang is a pony car. It's just a straight line big boy. 370z is a genuine two seat sports car. It's a track monster.
This is probably my favorite FI video now. Love VQ's
Agree, everybody low key wants the Z, but jumping in the pony wagon,,, man boost that Z, by by cammy.
Seriously tho, I love domestic, but would choose a stang Over a cammy

While I do appreciate the skill it takes to drive any high power car, I will never complain about it getting easier. That is how it is supposed to work as we learn. Manuals are fun, My 370 is a 6 speed, but any car can be fun if it is simply set up to be. I think my wife's turbo Escape would rip with a 10 speed lol. It rips pretty good now.
Step up to a 1LE. Love mine. 370 can't compete.
Nismo.😎
Agreed. And I'd also like to know where she got that car for 30k lol

I would definitely take the 2SS
I go with the 370z, why? Cause you can modify the horse power you need, plus it's a light vehicle then the camaro. Hell I seen you tube video where a modify 370z with tremendous horse power beat a dodge hell cat. I mean literally smoke the dodge hell cat. I ve also seen a you tube video where they modify the 370z engine into a V8, with other modifications, and pushibg 900 horse power. Overall I go with the 370z.
I love the Camaro’s license plate lmao 😂
I went from a 2013 G37 Sedan(340rwhp) to a '21 Camaro SS1LE MANUAL!!
Grew up up in south Florida is all about JDM baby Tuner head fo life lol 🚗 🚘
I bought a 370z the day before yesterday. It's immediately my favorite car among all the ones I've owned or ever driven. I'm sure if I hopped in a Camaro, the shock and awe I'm experienced with the 370z's power and responsiveness would quickly be overshadowed, but at present, I adore the thing. All stock, with no intention of ever modifying. I don't think it needs it, and frankly, 95% of every modification I've ever seen on a car like this just makes it look tackier.
alex confirmed doug fan
loved this vid, def do more like this. intro is a bit too long tho
Who doesn't love doug in the car community though
There's always a lot of U.S based bashing of the Z, but where I live if you want an affordable newer, 2 door coupe with a powerful engine with a rwd drive train there isn't much else. We don't have the muscle cars available you do unless you import them and then you might as well get something else locally for the price.
Otherwise you're getting a brz or mx5
Would love to see a Camaro and mustang comparison

Overall, Nissan will hold value longer where Chevy will lose value like crazy for resale. Chevy is always cheaper for me at least to work on with it being easier as well. Coming from owning both. I love my 350z though so that’s where I’ll go. I’m more imports myself with the look and the feel. Even though the SS will have a better platform to build more power on the motor that comes with it for cheaper.

True the s550 does too kind off i think thats why they say the only real muscle car left is the challenger
@@renejuarez3859 i have a Camaro and i second that comment, the last "Muscle" cars by Chevy and Ford were in 2015; yes the new ones might be faster but they lack the cosmetic escense that muscle cars have except for the Challenger.
That's the best sounding 370Z I've ever heard. How do I make my Z sound like that? Which headers and exhaust?
Camaro SS eats the 370z ALIVE in every way it's faster, handles better, gets BETTER gas mileage, is cheaper to maintain, has a better interior/infotainment, and it looks SOOO much better
this is pretty similar to computer specs of a 6 core vs 8 cores.

He likes the 370 bc he’s a ff movie fanboy but this is a comparison which car is better so to sum it up camaro is faster, better looking even he said it, better sounding again even he said it in the video, more practical and it’s a manual and better technology including the magnetic suspension obviously the camaro is the better car.

Yep, it’s a really good factory paint considering GM isn’t known for good paint.
The Z is half the price of the Camaro?
Well no not really...the 370Z is still sold new with almost no changes from the 2013 you have.
So if you compare a new NISMO 370Z it's actually more expensive than a Camaro SS, and comparable to the SS 1LE.
And sorry but the NISMO Z gets demolished in every objective performance category by the SS 1LE.
And if you have to get a Z, at least get a proper transmission...don't ever go with an autotragic.
