@@aimenfatima7713 Hi Aimen! Oh man, I had to go waaaaay back into the Shereene Idriss vault to find the video that took my skincare game to the next level...to no avail (Also. WHAT? I've been following since 2018?!?! OG Nerd in the house!). So, Long-timers/Dr. Idriss, please play along if I've missed a step. Aimen, here we go: 1) Bioderma, 2) La-Roche Posay creamy cleanser, 3) THIN layer of Vaseline Jelly under and sides of eyes, 4a) Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 all over face, or if I want to feed my children that month, 4b) L'Oreal Paris Skincare 10% Pure Glycolic Acid all over face, 5) THIN layer of Tretinoin 0.05% all over my face and over the thin layer of Vaseline around my eyes, 6a) THIN layer of Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré in the summer, 6b) THIN layer of Weleda Skin Food in the winter. On my neck thru tatas: 1) L'Oreal Paris Skincare 10% Pure Glycolic Acid, 2) L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Derm Intensives Night Serum, 0.3% Pure Retinol 3a) THIN layer of Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré in the summer, 3b) THIN layer of Weleda Skin Food in the winter. AND ALWAYS, LIKE IN ALL WAYS, SPF!!! I don't even open the door for Amazon without SPF on! Look, I know this reads like a neurotic routine but what can I tell ya? My skin is at ridiculously gorgeous levels thanks to Dr. Idriss' recos. And, yours can too!

I don't have crows feet myself so my opinion differs, but I've always thought that crows feet were beautiful and cute, especially when people smile. I never thought it was an issue/insecurity until I started watching skincare videos.

I think a lot of people don’t mind “crows feet” when they are smiling. It’s when the lines remain static after the smiling is done is when they’d feel more comfortable addressing it. At that point, it can age you and many people like the concept of slowing down the signs of aging.

i always thought i was aging quickly when i first saw the lines on my face. i’m 19, i don’t eat any added sugars, eat fruits and veggies daily, work out at least 4 times a week, drink ~3l of water daily, wear sunscreen everyday, i sleep enough and i don’t have a lot of stress BUT here comes the other side: i make the weirdest faces when i’m training and squeeze my eyes a lot (probably 1h in total in every gym session), i almost always sleep on the side of my face and it squishes, i use my eyes a lot while i talk, i tend to smile a lot and i should be reapplying sunscreen more often. if you’re like me, don’t worry, it’s totally normal

Also, depending on your diet, the better your diet, the better your skin and hair as well. Vitamin C and E are the best for your skin. Having good hair, protein and vitamins for having good hair.
Creamers like shampoos, is only to clean, moisture, smelling it good and to maintain nice skin and hair.
Also, I hate to break it to you guys, alcohol; atleast drinking a lot of alcohol is bad for your skin.
I hardly drink. I think that's what helped not to get crows feet, but it can be genetics too.

Well for those of us who live in the desert with an interrogation lamp for a sun, we squint on the daily. So muscle movement does have something to do with it. In fact it had something to do with all lines on the face including breakdown on collagen, glycation, overexfoliation damaging the skin barrier leaving the skin compromised, etc.

Collagen is not the only thing that is reduced. Subcutaneous fat diminishes as we age and no cream will boost fat production in the eye area. That is essentially the volume loss. You can get filler to replace the lost fat.

Dr. Idriss, the side of your face that is exposed to more sunlight while driving tends to have more wrinkles and damage as you know. In my case having lived in near the beach in Southern California, and the Sonoran Desert Arizona for a total of 53 years as a driver, the damage is obvious at first glance. The difference between the left and right sides is moderating, and the depth of the wrinkles is lessening with each passing month after being on Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides for 3 years, and using Ceramids for two years. You are my go to expert, but then you knew that because I try to be present with my hands folded on my desk every Saturday you appoint as the Day. Have a Great Week Dr. Idriss. Bye the way, you are doing a Bang Up Job, your competition is weeping quietly.

I disagree, sunscreen lessens photo-aging and collagen and elastin degradation. It won't prevent them as such but it would slow the progression. Sun exposure leads to deeper wrinkles over time. Smoking would probably have the same effect. Wearing a hat would probably be even more effective in addition to the sunscreen.
