would love a similar video on vericose veins - in office treatments and any at-home products.....love your products and being nerdy!
this is with an angiologist
Is that true for spider veins as well?
Me too! I have bad circulation in general, so both cellulite and veins are a problem.
Varicose veins and spider veins!
Yes!!!! Good idea!
I never thought my cellulite would go away completely but i lost 20 pounds, ate healthier and really worked on building muscle every where. One day I woke up and said to my husband I literally almost can't see my cellulite!!🤗
Awesome. Thank you for sharing! Just watched a video today by a female body builder and she said a byproduct of building muscle has been the elimination of cellulite. Thank you for confirming by sharing 🫶
@@empea3837i lost all my cellulite from doing pilates & jogging so it’s not just weight lifting that helps and i still ate bad just made some healthy substitutions
@@empea3837 could you please share the name of the female body builder? I would love to check out her content.
Literally same! This it only took me six weeks to get the same results.
You're so right. It took me only 3 weeks walking 8km every day to get rid of them.
Hi Doc, I’ve had cellulite for 40 years and found an effective, at home cellulite removal treatment worth sharing. As a PhD researcher I read up on cellulite and logic made me combine information about the fibrous bands and massage BUT I massaged my thighs with Baladacci silicon cups (like the glass ones used in remedial massage but flexible). The cups lift the skin as they massage. I used coconut or olive oil as a lubricant (mineral oils deteriorate the silicon) and rubbed the cups around my thighs for a few minutes every second night and it worked! Within four weeks my thighs were smooth and without cellulite bumps for the first time since I was 15. I bought the cups years ago to massage damaged shoulders and Baladacci information said the cups could be used for cellulite but I never tried it. I was finally so sick of my saggy lumpy skin that I tried it last summer and at 55 was happy to wear shorts again. It really did work and I will do it again next spring in readiness for summer clothing. Hope this helps even 1 person. It hurts a little but gradually breaks the fiborous bands and I never got bruising 😊
...I have heard about this cups just month ago and I started with cupping..havent got totally rid of my cellulite yet but I see the progress...I am really thankfull for it🙏
Can you post more info on these cups and how to use them?
Hey that sounds awesome:) could you give more information abput those cups?
Mt. Google works very well…
I tried googling it but came up with nothing. Can you elaborate?
Cellulite is one of my biggest insecurities!! Thanks for covering this topic
Been here a *million* subscribers ago. Want to acknowledge Dr.Idriss for her consistent effort to post here.
She's the best❤
The best thing anyone can do to improve cellulite is LIFT HEAVY. I've got a body born for cellulite and have noticed significant positive changes in my body and perception of beauty since I started powerlifting. Ya'll need to lift! It helps your bones, muscle tone, skin, posture, attitude, self-confidence, and self-image. Not to mention, it makes you STRONG. ❤
same! it really works
Yes as others have suggested a video on varicose and spider veins would be great please!
Making note! 📝
@@shereeneidriss can you please help me out with my skin like alligator skin? It hurts so bad. I have no idea what to do written this one person and every time I think really little bit it comes back 10 times worse 😢
I'd love to see a video on how chlorine affects the skin and how to protect our skin if we go swimming a few times a week
Omg, this is literally the question I came to comment on this video.
I've spent thousands of hours in pools (4 hours a day, 6 days a week for years). Just take a shower with soap afterwards.
My guess is to stay hydrated with water and electrolytes, wear a strong spf, and shower afterwards. I put a hair oil in my hair and braid it before going in if it's not a problem for the pool, if it is you can wrap it up or put it in a bun and just don't dip your hair. Honestly other than a little dryness if I rub my face in the pool a lot, I don't really see any issues from the pool water as long as it's properly treated. Don't let chemical fearmongering stop you from enjoying yourself. If your face is really sensitive to chlorine, honestly I'd put a very thin layer of vaseline on it. (Do not do this all over yourself, it can cause dangerous slip hazards for yourself and others) But I would only do that indoors or at night. If I'm in the pool outside during the day, just a very thick layer of sunscreen. Some of them are a bit greasy but I think it repels water so that should work if you're sensitive.
Don’t put oil or anything like that, it is disgusting. We don’t need even more chemicals in the pool. Just make sure to shower and hydrate afterwards and your skin will be ok. Chlorine is not gonna penetrate too deep as to do any profound damage it is hurt superficial. Just make sure to wash it out and restore moisture every time.
I would love to hear about ways to tighten up skin after weight loss.
this please @shereeneidriss
Yes yes please
Yes!!
Agreed!!!!
AGREEDDD
Need a part 2 for cellulite! What are the risks and side effects of each office treatment discussed? Contraindications? Dry brushing how to? Product recommendations for at home. Thank you!
Great video! Like with most things, when I see cellulite on other women, it looks totally normal and literally doesn't impact how beautiful they are. But when it's on myself it's the end of the world lol.
I would love a video about spider veins and cherry angiomas - two things I've started noticing since turning 30
I have cherry angiomas all over my chest. And a couple have shown up on my face as I've aged. My Dad had a lot. I wonder about having them removed 🤔
@@jenn8179I have had 2 large cherry angiomas lasered off. Worked very well. I was afraid of the procedure leaving a divot or scar but my dermatologist was very good and left me with neither. 👍🏼
I've had spider veins since a child. My kid does too.
Same!!
Please do a video elaborating on the dry brushing for cellulite!
How much, how often, techniques??
Please help!
Just Google it. It’s super easy and super simple.
it doesn't work just crate microtraumas on skin
@@Sky10811 it’s worked for me & I’ve seen day by day results videos on UA-cam of other women showing their results, the only caveat is if you stop doing it regularly, the cellulite will come back. Idk about micro tears… you’re supposed to use a soft bristled brush & a gentle hand.
Sunscreens for humid countries would be an interesting discussion. We believe the sunscreen doesn't stand a chance to perform in an extremely humid climate and companies aren't addressing skincare for humid environments. Would love everyone's suggestions as well!
Why
The Biore Aqua Rich Essence is really good. East Asia is super humid, so their SPFs really stand up to the weather.
I imagine chemical sunscreen would be more effective because it works by penetrating into the skin, whereas physical sunscreens sit on top of your face and so can easily sweat off.
In a highly humid setting, people often avoid applying makeup and skincare products in the morning due to concerns about their sunscreen melting and potentially causing breakouts from sweat and humidity-induced clogging.
I live in Australia and really love Ultraviolette’s Fave Fluid for super humid days. It’s super lightweight, no white cast and is SPF 50
I have stretch marks only on my tummy area due to cushings syndrome, I started getting them in my very early 20s, I havent been able to completely eliminate them, which is fine, im not actually that embarassed about them, but about two years ago i replaced the body cream i was using with a retinol body cream and it actually made a difference for me. theyre not entirely gone because that would be impossible for scaring but the apperance is greatly reduced, they are pretty much the same colour as my skin tone now; the body cream is by "The Solution" and called Retinol Smoothing Body Lotion.
I have Cushing's disease 🫶
I am so happy that I came across your educational post! I’ve ordered your skin care products and can’t wait to begin using them. I just love your vibe and honesty! I’m addicted to your post 😂 Thank you thank you for sharing your wisdom!
EVY Sunscreen Mousse in the kids version is my absolute HOLY GRAIL! Does not leave a greasy shine, no transferring, no sticky feeling, no white cast, no breakouts on my acne prone skin! Love love love it. Works also perfectly under makeup.
It is hard to get here in the usa
Please make a video about firming creams! Thank you for all of the great info that you give us every week! ❤
Love love love a video about skincare and treatments during pregnancy
Thank you for this video. My whole body is covered in stretch marks and I'm still in my 20s, so I've been freaking out not knowing where to even begin when it comes to treatments such as these. Thank you again, much love. ♥
The bio- oil has helped me a lot, they sell a smaller size which is affordable and has almost completely gotten rid of my stretch marks
take 10 mg hydrolised collagen
YES! We need to know what you are wearing on your lips please and thank you!!!
High & Dry in Colorado here! Great video as always Dr. I : ) I would love to learn more about products and things that help those of us w/dry skin in very dry climates. The only time my face retains moisture from my pm skincare, is when I layer 3-4 moisture layers. I do face baste, but not every night. Otherwise I will get small breakouts, though I don't have particularly sensitive skin. My skin from chest to ta-tas feels very moisturized in the am. Always look forward to your videos : )
I love Korean sunscreens, I would love if you can talk about 2 of my favorites, SKIN 1004 - Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum and numbuzin - No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence
Please talk about Sun bum sunscreens, Native sunscreens, Elf Suntouchable sunscreens, love what you do !
Firming cream video - yes please!! Thank you so much for all of the education💖
yes please- Requesting the Cool Sculpting video with your opinions !
Yes, firming creams too!
I would love to hear more reviews for KOrean sunscreens. I know they are not great for outdoor activities, but they are excellent for everyday use
I'm loving the ELF whoa Glow & invisible sunscreen! I would love to hear your thoughts ☀️
Hey, Dr. Renee here :)
I just love every video that you make, so informative and gracefully said. Thank you.
Love the video! I've been using Burnout sunscreen for years. The eco sensitive and face and body spa 30. The face and body formula is mattifying for oily skin and the Eco sensitive provides a good glow without breakouts and a cast.
Would love face body products! Really appreciate your videos and honesty!💐
Need more info on Sunscreen for the middle eastern girlies (mix of dry and humid weather)
And more on how visible blue light can also cause some of our skin to tan which you can’t prevent using the average sunscreens.
I’d like to see a video of you ranking these in order of your favorite/must effective treatments.
Stretch mark or my c section never bothered me at all ! Just giving you a like and hug and leave 😊
I call them my tiger stripes. It also reminds me of my child ❤
I had a OB call mine "nasty". I too was repulsed by my obese pregnant body. It's okay to hate the way you look.
Some people try to romantize the strangest things lol
@@JulesTomasiand some people are insecure about the most normal things. What's to say you're not the strange one
I’ve had 4 c sections with a few stretch marks on my hips and a couple on my belly and I call them my mommy badge cause my body worked hard to make my babies and keep them alive! Women should be proud I’ve never been ashamed I wear it with pride
Thank you for this video! For the SPF roundup, I used Dermalogica dynamic skin recovery for a really long time and just started using their Powerbright SPF. But also hear great things about the Isdin brand.
Please do a comprehensive video on Cool sculpt and other devices known for fat loss in skinny individuals that have just that little bit to lose in those problem areas that we just cant make perfect!! Thank you Dr. Idriss!! 😊
I just started using Paula's Choice super- light wrinkle defense and am LOVING it. I nominate it for the round-up!
My dermatologist originally recommended what is now my HOLY GRAIL sunscreen- the Isdin Fotoprotector FusionWater. I would love to see you review it!
Thank you so much for yet another wonderfully informative video! I would love to hear more about firming creams too. Could you please do a video on that?
I would love to see a review on Tatcha's The Silk Sunscreen!! I recently have been obsessed with it and have super sensitive eyes so it has been a total game changer for me. Would love your thoughts on it! ❤
I have binged your videos harder than a nextflix enthusiast has showgunned baby reindeer. I love your videos, your advice and delivery is astounding and so easy to follow and understand when so much conflicting info is everywhere, even between professionals in the industry. I am almost 37 and would say i have been blessed with good skin, until the last month where ive noticed ever so slight forehead wrinkles sitting at rest.. where did these bad boys come from! How dare you... But what to do? Slow and replenish with skincare or jump to my first botox? Having never done any sort of injectables the fear is real! But also this is the first time in my life where I feel self conscious about my skin... All downhill from here!
Great and trusted source of useful info about facial and hair care, thank you :) الطب المبسط والمباشر والحقيقي
Hi, i would like to know if there is a benefits of skincare ingredients in makeup products ? Thank you for the knowledge that you give us every week. Thank you
Amazing information! Thank you Dr. Idriss! ❤
Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun :) i love that sunscreen! Thank you ♥
I just love your honesty!!!!!!!!!
Great video, Shereene! 💜
Currently my favorite sunscreen for the face is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch and for my body I like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist. I hope it works good because it’s cheap and doesn’t make me look greasy. Would love to get your thoughts on it!
I would love to see a review of Biafine sunscreen. Thanks a lot dr. Shereen ❤
I’d love for you to review more Korean sunscreen. Specifically Beauty of Joseon. I love your content!
It has taken me decades to accept my body, cellulite, and stretcmarks (puberty and 3 pregnancies). My tummy tuck gave me a 360-degree new scar at this point I don't care anymore to find all the lotions, potions, lasers and fillers. I loved hearing your thoughts and knowledge on this matter. I proudly can rock a bikini and that in itself is empowering to any woman who has had 3 children. I just know that my body tells a story of my life and I'm fine with it. C'est la vie.
I need some tummy tuck pointers. Any insurance coverage? My csection scar indents and is so frustrating. Don't think I need a 360 but rather a extended one.
That is powerful. "My body tells the story of my life"
Are you happy with your tummy tuck?!
When i used to make coffee scrubs I always felt like it made me feel less swollen. I always thought the massaging of the skin was a good thing. I think I'm going to get some coffee and start doing it again! Thanks for the info!
You should definitely make a video about your career and your journey to get there. I'm interested in maybe becoming a dermatologist and I just want to know is it worth it? There is lots of school and I don't want to do something I'm unsure about and put so much time into it just to realize its not for me. I bet a lot of people would benefit from a video like this and I would enjoy hearing your experiences.💕
I have some sunscreens that I would love to hear your opinion on!
1. Beauty of Joseon, Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics, SPF 50+ PA ++++, 50 ml
2. Isntree - Onion Fresh Fluid Sun Cream
3. SKIN 1004 - Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum
Thanks in advance to anybody that shares their opinions!
I agree with you on dry brushing. You need to do it on a regular basis. Gua Sha on the legs will also help if you are willing to do it. They are the two cheapest ways to deal with this problem.
Would love to hear more about firming creams!
I would love a video on how to treat spider / capillary veins please?
Thank you for addressing hypopigmented scars! I’ve had one on my face since childhood, I wasn’t aware there was anything that could be done.
same!! i would appreciate what can help for old big scars as well like 10 cm diameter
My favorite sunscreen is Isdin--love it!
Minimalist suncream too
Would love a video about Coolsculpt and Sculpsure !
same!
Read about Linda Evangelista and coolsculpting. Very scary
Great topic, I ❤️ hearing all about strength marks and cellulite. I love Olay sensitive sunscreens I'd like to hear about your reviews of Olay Moisturizeing SPF 40. I'm thinking to switch from Olay's sensitive SPF 15 and 30 to 40 for summer and forever 🙃 Thanks for all you do. I appreciate you. Happy mother's day 💐
Can you please review the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice sunscreen next week?
Hey idriss! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Could you do a video for summer body prep? Like addressing kp or dry skin. I think an updated video would be great for this time of the year.
bepanthol derma nutritive 400 ml is amazing
omega 3 supplements
🎉🎉🎉
I've been following your great advice! Any additional tips for us dudes?
For your next video, could you please explain if there are any difference between sunscreen creams and moisturisers with spf. Thanks to you, now I know how to take care of my skin. 🙏🙏
Would love for you to review the Mad About Skin sunscreen, I’ve heard really good things about it!
Favorite sunscreen that I don’t see reviewed often even though it’s been around forever is CoTZ brand. Available at Ulta!
Tank you so much for all the education you are giving us. Can you please tackle skin tags? Reasons for them and how to get rid of them As far as sunscreen I use La Roch Posey SPF 50 but am never sure if I am using the right amount. Would love to hear your take on it.
Massaging with cups (or cupping) Has helped me, but it's a temporary result, you need to keep doing it for "maintenance". Starting with 3-4 times per week for 1 or 2 months, then once a week. It will never disappear with this method, but gets so much better!
I love the beauty of Joseon sunscreen and skin 1004 water fit sunscreen!
Please do a video including what treatment or lotions for skin lacity.
PSA There is a disease called lipedema (connective tissue disease that also impacts the lymphatic system or vice versa) which I have this disease and it looks like cellulite in the later stages, so yes sometimes what appears to be cellulite IS a disease. One common symptom that most people experience is the fat in their legs are tender or painful (something like a cat on your lap will hurt)… Another symptom is larger lower body while the upper body might be more lean. Most doctors don’t know about it, and it’s hereditary and mostly only females are affected. If you have concerns look it up and then show your doctor the info (to educate them) and get evaluated. Sorry - Just trying to spread awareness since you’re on the topic of cellulite. 💕
Naked Sundays is a 50+ zinc based sunblock primer that I love. Love your skin lessons and am now a fan on A313 retinol. Thanks Doc 🧡
Omg Paula's choice sunscreens! I'd love if you could review any of those. I'd also love to know if a matte finish sunscreen that doesn't burn my eyes exists. Thank you 😊
Love all your videos!! Would you be able to do a video on great travel size products? I know what you take will depend on where you go but I’m having a hard time finding products that are good and can take in a carry on.
I would love to hear about treating and preventing back acne, please. Thank you
22:14 yes do a video on firming creams
I've seen an elctric fascia roll that is a standing device with infrared light or something like that. It's something you can buy and keep using at home and it helps to stimulate the collagen against cellulite as well
Sunscreen review request: SOS Skincare and Q+A skincare
Thank you Dr.Idriss x 1000 for your educational videos. Please discuss firming creams on a near future video. You are a 5 star dermatologist 😊
My absolute favorite sunscreen is Holika Holika Aloe Waterproof Sun Gel SPF50+. It's very lightweight and it absorbes very quickly.
I would LOVE a full on sunscreen vid, I can't get enough of sunscreen info as someone who lobsters rather than tans. I've never cared about my stretch marks or cellulite or fat. Even my acne. Small 'flaws' of the body is only one part of it, why stress about one small thing on a whole body? What really matters is how well your body functions and how long it'll last you. It was really interesting learning that there are actually some things that can be done to minimize these though.
For sunscreen review: Vichy UV-Age Daily SPF 50+ Fluid
Crepe skin and sagging from weight loss, please. I have this plus the stretch marks and cellulite. This video was phenomenal! Thank you.
Obviously, nothing beats being the healthiest we can be. It would just be nice when the outside matches the work we are doing on the inside mentally and emotionally, and the hard work we are doing overall with lifestyle: mind~body~spirit, including healthy food choices and exercise. I love myself as I am. I would like for the outside to reflect all the hard work and changes more if possible. I've lost over 100 lbs without medication or surgery or special supplements. I'm 49 years old and recent post-partial hysterectomy: perimenopausal. Shout out to my perimenopausal and menopausal sisters!
Wonderful video, thank you so much!❤
I love this video! Thank you for your honesty.
For sunscreens I just ordered a set from Kopari but would love your input on their fun, shimmery sunscreen line.
Kopari sun glazed sheer body mist
Kopari sun shield on the glow body stick
Kopari sun shield body glow
On one of your recent videos you said something about doing a video on interesting sunscreen formulations and I would love to see your thought on more of those!
I'd be very interested to hear your take on Beauty of Joseon's Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics (SPF50+ PA++++) sunscreen. I like that it doesn't have a very tacky/sticky feel.
Korean and Japanese sunscreen please! Roundlab, Anessa and Biore
Love the Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Sunscreen!
I LOVE your videos, so helpful, thank you. Glycolic acid has changed my life. I wear CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen with Sheer Tint year round. I like it for days when I'm working out and not wearing makeup yet. I live in Austin, Texas.
K beauty sunscreen: Roundlab Birch Moisturizing Sunscreen, SPF 50+, PA++++
Please talk about FasciaBlasters! Thank you 😊
I love biore aqua rich watery gel, brush on block, summer Fridays and prequels sunscreen.
I've also tried but not loved EltaMD, Supergoop original and glow screen, and La Roche-Possay sunscreen.
I would love to hear about good budget sunscreens for the face. A lot of sunscreens specifically designed for the face are very expensive, but I want something not too oily/greasy/shiny, with not too much of a white cast, and also that won't pill, so that I can apply makeup on top
Fav sunscreens (from a sunscreen/skincare nerd who loves your videos): Scinic SPF 50+, Supergoop invisible sunscreen & Beauty of Joseon rice + probiotics SPF 50+ PA ++++
+1 for Beauty of Joseon
I am using the Supergoop invisible.... liking it so far
Tinted sunscreens in a humid climate. Feel like the Ilia serum and similar light weight serums don't hold well in the warm southeast.
She looks stunning today. What the heck is her lip color? Just wow.
Really love your content and I trust you to the bone. ❤I would love to see a video on skin damage after using tretinoin, vitamin C etc. How can I help the skin heal? Red spots etc
My fav sunscreen is Skin 79 waterproof sun gel SPF 50+ PA++++, ideal for my ance prone oily skin, does not leave any white marks, blends in well with pretty matt finish.
How about a video about Demodex??? My derm just told me i have a lot in my nose and i would love to know more!!!
would love to hear your current opinion on Beauty of Joseon's "Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics (SPF50+ PA++++)"--I think you have mentioned this product before, but am wondering how it compares with your top sunscreen choices. thank you Dr Idriss!
