I have bought and used tahini before (from Amazon) iI wasn't sure how to use it, store it or how long it last? There are some foods and produce that I've never heard, like custard apples, before I saw them in a UA-cam. So I'm enjoying learning about different foods and how to prepare them.
@@SweetPotatoSoul I found a recipe here on UA-cam from Simnett Nutrition. Very simple and very tasty. I’ll be making my third batch next month. I also make my own sauerkraut and I found that recipe on UA-cam as well from Becoming a farm girl. Its a chipotle sauerkraut with butternut squash and I will always make this version. it’s a little spicy so I use it with my veggie bowls and my ramen and in my salads. . I made them both from their original recipe and have since modified them to fit my taste. I put apple in my kimchi and it is so yummy.

I find that it tends to be more bitter if you don't cook/bake it. Have you tried marinating it overnight and then baking it? I bake for at least 20 minutes.
@@HornyKoala Cut plank into 3 pieces. Steam it for 10 mins using your method of choice. Now you can cut it up further if desired, marinate it, & cook it however you want to. The pre-steaming is the trick. 🌱🕊💚
Your website is unbearable. I get being greedy but you don’t even profit of your greed. You might actually have viewers and some success if you would have the recipe accessible for the average person that isn’t willing to scroll through 10 minutes of ads. There’s no way you ever visited your own page without feeling shame.
Please encourage people to eat food freshly homemade. Batch cooking is ofcourse better than unhealthy foods, but food that is not freshly made creates laziness in your body, which can create a downward spiral in eating not so healthy food. Just see for yourself, you will feel better while eating it when you made it and less the day(s) after while eating the same food. So stop encouraging batch cooking if you want a better world for yourself and others.

TFS…what do you use to combat the bitterness from the tempeh? I have found regardless of how I prepare it the tempeh has a bitter/unpleasant taste 🫢🤢
