Thanks for watching and commenting, Sweet Potato Soulmates ✨ I wanted to make a note about Oatly (should have mentioned this in the video). I do not consider Oatly a health food. It belongs in the ultraprocessed category. I use it every morning in my coffee, and my matcha latte. About 1/3-1/2 cup a day. Never more. Oatly contains added oils and is highly processed, but it is THE BEST vegan milk for lattes. Periot! It takes me at least one month to get through a container of it 😂
When it comes to BETTER, CLEANER, VEGAN MILK, the best choices contain only water and nuts, oats, or soy. Plain soy milk from Trader Joe's or West Soy brand, is my FAVORITE! You can also find this type of clean soy milk fresh at your local Asian grocery store. Also, consider making your own vegan milk at home. It is so easy: sweetpotatosoul.com/how-to-make-almond-milk/ (this recipe works with any nut or seed).
    Happy eating!! xoxo

Be sure to add some black pepper when you consume Tumeric. The piperine in Black pepper helps the body to absorb more of the curcumin from the Tumeric. 😊

@candicec2294 Read the book Serve to Win by Novak Djokovic about what fuels him after failed games (there are recepies, too). .... oat milk here and other grains are by no means anti inflammatory, it's pure carb=sugar. Autoimmune patien here, this lady has no idea about alkaline food.

@@MaYa-jn2ui Hello. Grains are anti inflammatory foods, for sure. Of course for those with celiac disease or sensitivities some grains should be avoided. I think that probably the misconception about grains is that it is a food group associated with flours. And many times we eat bad quality flour. But whole grains as berries, in salads, soups, porridges, are healthy for most people. Please take a look at Brenda Davis' approach about grains. Best wishes

hi, I’ve watched a few of your videos before and I have subscribed… I’m wondering if you have something in place already perhaps for sauces… Some popular sauces that we all love like duplications of those in a better way and a less acidic less inflammatory way… including salad dressing Focusing, of course, on the health benefits and the large community that has sensitive stomach, some may suffer with gastritis and really trying to more alkaline di. And of course, with some moderation.

For health I think the best non-dairy milk is homemade or plain soy or nut milk. They should only contain the nuts or soy, and water. No added sugar and fat, which Oatly has. Love your videos, recipes and tips. Something you might want to consider-doing bad things in moderation doesn’t make them okay or good. It’s simply an excuse to keep doing what’s bad for your body. An example: smoking in moderation would never be a good thing. Chef AJ, Alan Goldhammer, Doug Lisle, the Esselstyn’s and many others in the plant based community all preach the message that bad things in moderation are never good. But you do you, you look fabulous and it works for you😉
