Pink Floyd is hard to put into words, they just hit different. They're always a good choice, too. I can't go a day without listening to at least a little Pink Floyd. One of my favorite songs of theirs is Poles Apart, off The Division Bell, which is a great album.
I can relate to this comment! Whenever I listen to these guys, I find it very hard to find any other band remotely comparable and I need some Floyd music in my life. Thank you for the comment!
This song came about when Roger Waters, the bass player, realized that this is not a dress rehearsal for real life. This is real life. This it IT! There is no lead-up. There is no practice. There will be no starting gun. GO!
Pausing during a Gilmour solo is what got Lucifer kicked out of Heaven! Great reaction! After you've reacted to all the cuts from this album, please get yourself quiet, headphones in place, lights off, and enjoy this masterpiece from beginning to end with no interruptions. You won't be the same.

You won't hear it on the today's radio!
Music that you can FEEL is so rare these days. I’m super grateful I’m feeling this way with Pibj Floyd. Thank you for your comment and time today! You’re awesome.
Yes, as someone already suggested, you should losten to next track on this album called The Great Gig in the Sky. It's not only musically flows from one to another, but thematically too. Time song ends with an old man hearing a bell of probably a funeral, ant the next song is about the death but in a different way that you can expect.... you'll see, I won't spoil :)
Oops, AXE...not Ax. On the album Umma Gumma. Listen to Nick Mason's drumming, OUTSTANDING! And Roger Water's scream...one if the best in rock-n-roll history! A true example of psychedelia, with discordant notes that puts you on edge! Another PF song that moves you...emotionally and physically! Enjoy!
I'm sure you've been told to check out Comfortably Numb from the Pulse concert in '94, but yeah. IMO the greatest solo ever. But also check out Run Like Hell, it's the finale after CN, and you'll see why. You'll see.
You say you're 24 but you somehow look 14 and 44 simultaneously! I mean that in the best way possible! I'm 46 and the older i get the more this song means to me, i can't remember not knowing it. Keep up the reactions and the Floyd.
The final verse ("Home, home again..." was originally a reprise to an earlier track (Breathe) on Dark Side of the Moon, with "Time" ending on the line "The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say." By now I've seen it too often, someone close to me has had their "song" end when they still had more to say.
PF probably the best, but in their era many nipping at their heals - often with very, very different sounds but at that quality level. ELP, ELO, Genesis, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull... must be many others! And that batton has not been dropped. We have the likes of Porcupine Tree, The Pineapple Thief, DreamTheater, Spock's Beard and many others in the same space creating new excellent material today! With, of course, The Beatles who still drop jaws... going from "She Loves You" c. 1963 then rapidly developing in every direction each with a new sound - so by 1966 we get "Tomorrow Never Knows" which is the precursor to prog and PF. Way awesome progression! :)
The genre of music that PF is in has only one band in it. Only one other band comes close and that is Porcupine Tree. Airbag (from Norway) brings up a distant third.
Thanks for the share! I’m suggesting to listen to the entire album from front to back. The album was written to be listened to like that; I think you’ll love it. 🤙🏼
Thank You for reacting to more Pink Floyd, I'm glad you are venturing further down the Pink Floyd rabbit hole, and allowing us to take the journey with you, looking forward to joining you again my Friend, God Bless.

You're obviously a younger person who has recently discovered that classic rock music from the early 70's can be unexpectedly stunning. (Although the PF pulse concert was 1994, this song originated back in the early 70's.) So I'll give you the *same* hot tip I gave a few minutes ago to a similarly young-ish youtuber (who also recently discovered PF) ... Have a listen to Deep Purple's "Child in Time". But *don't* do what most other reactors do (they watch a live version from the BBC). Instead, find the video titled "Deep purple - Child in time 2022, (Lyrically)A-I-llustrated", posted by "Soldesign72". You could well be the first youtuber to react to this superb remastering of the original studio version, accompanied by an "interesting" montage of surreal images. And btw, if you're wondering where to pause that song (to avoid angering the copyright gods), do it when the "machine gun" section starts -- you'll know it when you hear it! Even if you don't start listening to Deep Purple immediately, try to keep this comment in the back of your mind for when you eventually, inevitably, do so. 🙂

You need to listen to this album from start to finish, it is a journey, and tells a story about the human condition. There is a reason it is one of the highest selling albums of all time. Just before the alarm clocks, is a song about a nightmare depicting fear of flying and at the end the plane crashes, then the clocks wake you up from that nightmare. Likewise this song's end chord, flows seamlessly into The Great Gig in the Sky which is a song about facing death, with anger, fear, resentment and then acceptance.
