The bass player is Guy Pratt, he has been with Pink Floyd longer then Roger Waters was, and its Guy Pratt that took his place when Roger left the group. If you check out the Momentary lapse of reason tour in New York 1988, Pratt is in that concert. Saw Pratt live a few weeks back with Nick mason' s band. It was an appsolute treat to be under the same roof as Pratt and Nick.
It sounds like it was an absolute treat! Thanks for giving me background info as well as your personal story! It means a lot to me and my channel❤️ I hope to see you more in the comments!
Was at this show on Saturday 22nd October 94 as this is from the 20th 94 Thursday night but effectively you had 15 PULSES shows in the month of October which was a record for one band to sell so many shows same venue! Great upload great passion review reaction 💯👌🙏
@@kennethcurtis6648 14 nights & they invited Roger who declined to play with them for one night. I actually preferred our set list to the Thursday night aka pulse! We got 5 different songs Astromine Domine= Great day for freedom = On the Turning away=What do you want from me=Hey You encore & only missed Brain Damage so I preferred our Saturday night & as you know the lighting was the same for everyone! 30 years ago Kenneth & bands of today can't match the Floyd light show! Was a great night 15 of us travelling from Edinburgh to London.. Respect & Regards Kenneth 👌🌟👍
It sure is! I’ve been given the recommendation to listen to listen and watch the pompeii concerts. They might be my next step! Thank you so much for swinging by and commenting!
@@killbimu If you do Pompeii, I suggest Echoes parts 1 & 2 together is the same reaction. The original studio version of Echoes was not split into 2 parts. David Gilmour was 25 when Pompeii was filmed. 3 of the 4 guys at Pompeii went on to perform 23 years later at Pulse (Gilmour, Wright, & Mason).
If you do the live version of "Us and Them" you'll see Mr Perry play in the saxophone in that song as well. And that is during this same concert and comes immediately after money!!
Pink Floyd cannot be replicated in todays time. I’ll be sure to appreciate every track I come across from them! Thank you for you comment and I appreciate your time!
I'll say it again here: I Love your style of reactions! A couple of PF suggestions: Marooned, (studio version, audio only). And any David Gilmour concerts (live at Gdańsk): Castellorizon/ On an Island combo, Red Sky at Night/This Heaven combo (David playing a different instrument!), High Hopes (excellent version), Shine on you Crazy Diamond (your sax guy is back!), and Wearing the Inside Out (Rick Wright song!)... I might go on, but 😅. Take care and keep it up!!❤
Thank you so much for the kind words! I put a lot of work into these reactions and a lot of editing into them as well! I will check out these recommendations and load them into my list! Thank you so much for coming by and the kind words again. It means a lot to me!❤️
Not my favourite band ever, but Floyd are the best! I was at Earl's Court in '94 on an E and it was nearly as good as being at the birth of my son!🏴
Go back, and listen to the WHOLE album "Dark Side Of The Moon" by Pink Floyd. Listen from song 1 (Speak to me) the last (Eclipse) without interruption. A good way to do this is this youtube video: ua-cam.com/video/lXBqtoymJFo/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared Or this version, where they played the whole album with a real eclipse happening in the video: ua-cam.com/users/liveIUCjO4YVW6A?feature=shared (and no, I didn't Rick-Roll you)
This is from the 2019 re-edit/remaster. Some of the musical phrases and camera angles are different from the original release. Better in some spots, not as good in others.

I was there on that Saturday night as well, mind blowing, 12 night sell out and they could have done the same again if they wanted ( 24 nights) .

Every song from Pulse is excellent.

We all have our favourites and those that aren’t top of the list but not everyone’s list is the same. As Artists they are second to none

"Maybe I should take a couple notes", that was just too funny dude.

You might have seen the blonde backup singer before. He she is solo in 1988, six years before the Pulse tour: ua-cam.com/video/AWNysE2V9dY/v-deo.html

Is this a different video than the official “Pulse” footage? The camera angles and musical phrasing is different. Or am I imagining it?
No your not
And I don't like the camera angles on this one you miss the drummer spinning and a bunch of different shots.

I wonder ? Do you listen to these songs on your off time ?
