Starting with the Rubber Soul album (and continuing until the end), the Beatles were always open to experimenting with different instruments, different genres and - as Paul has said - happy accidents. (He has said they never ignored an accident.) Their producer, George Martin, who had worked with all kinds of recording artists from classical to jazz to whatever, was also integral to the process. He came up with effects that the technology didn't exist for yet but that the Beatles heard in their heads and wanted to replicate. It was an amazing creative partnership among the five - the whole was indeed greater than the sum of its parts.

Sorry, but even the Hollies, Kinks and Who get left behind but not forgotten! Geez, that was 59 years ago and I'm still doing the same things. Am I in a rut? This was a nice choice of tunes today Robert thank you much for the memories!
Us older ones here have areal history with The Beatles we heard and saw them from the beginning. We were constantly being surprised and amazed at their rapid evolution which actually turned the world upside down.
We still are feeling the effects of their cultural explosion.
This song will played at my final service.
I'm having this at my funeral, among others by them.
Oh, good idea
This is one of my favorite Beatles tunes! I want this played at my funeral,
My absolute favorite Beatles song. It’s on my funeral playlist. I’m not ill … just one of those that have been making a list since I can remember. #musicisimportant
Keep on Rocking! ☮️🎶✝️
Early Beatles was definitely bubble gum pop; but then they went and changed the musical landscape forever. Brilliance. This song and Eleanor Rigby make me cry just about every time. My personal favorite: “I AM THE WALRUS”. Good luck trying to decipher those lyrics, Pegasus 😂. Seriously, it’s a banger 🔥
This song is pure nostalgia
ALL of their albums will set you free.....you will see their growth thru each one....
Another one of my favorite songs !! ❤❤❤❤
This is made for reminiscing. Still touches me again after hearing it from the time it was released.❤
so so understand Johns lyrics as more and more people I love are dying
It’s okay not to “feel” a song, even if it’s a Beatles song, that’s the beauty of music, we all have the right to feel what we want. In My Life was written by John Lennon and it amazes me that he was in his mid twenties when he did, and I feel the lyrics of this song are so profound and John had so much feeling and insight at his young age. The Beatles ROCK! ❤️✌🏻🎶
Love the beatles good memories
Favorite Beatles song. Simple. Meaningful. Perfect. That was a Harpsichord solo.
It wasn’t a harpsichord. Soz.
It was George Martin on the piano played at slow speed and played back double speed.
@@AlBarzUK Thanks!
You can argue all you want over what led to their inevitable breakup, or you can focus on the positive when you consider what they accomplished together.
Four phenomenal talents either way.
This has always been my absolutely favorite Beatles song.
One of the best songs ever made
The Beatles is the best band ever
❤❤❤. One of my all time favorites. Bought this album when I was about 10.
