That feeling at the beginning of this video. I felt exactly the same as I walked from the car park. Sometimes, just sometimes, you feel like the luckiest guy on earth and it leaves you breathless.
The shot of the cascades with the mountains in the mist is incredible, What really makes it for me is the small tree on the right third linking foreground and "sky" with just that hint of mountain appearing behind it. There was no way you could pass that up.
What a treat! Incredible landscape and amazing images. What I loved most was your heartfelt appreciation of the beauty of the landscape you encountered. The photography took second place to what you were experiencing. You never take it for granted. I love that about you. Never lose the wonder and keep living the dream. Thanks for taking us along. Bless you Henry.
I smiled when you were in the carpark, chuckled when you only got to the bridge and then laughed out loud when you stopped just past the bridge. Fav photo was the one from that 3rd stop and this was your most entertaining video too date!
Your videos are really great, Henry. I enjoy it every time. I love your enthusiasm and you take great pictures. This place is beautiful and it was a magical day. I've been in the same situation as you, those times when you almost don't know where to turn your head because all the views seem to be unique and so beautiful! These are blessed days when everything seems to fall into place to give us a moment in landscape photographer's heaven.
Superb scenery, appreciate the excitement. I've stayed at the Sligachan Hotel, woke to a great sunrise with mist in Glen Sligachan, rushed out with my Minolta compact to get a couple of shots, later that day, reached the summit of Sgurr Alisdair, the most memorable of days. Hope to return and capture more of this awesome landscape.
Brilliant Henry! Skye looks an amazing place. You lucky devil, just step out of car and right there is your first of many epic photos from the carpark! Love the last image 🔥📸
"Hopefully one of these turns out all right." You are so funny! These images...... Of all your videos, I think this is my favourite. One thumbs up is not enough. We need a "wow" button.
I love it when I get days like this! It does annoy my wife as she just wants to get on with the hike, however, it does make up for those days when you get jack. Brilliant Henry.
Henry, what a blessing this video was! I was overwhelmed along with you, and I'm guessing that a good number of us were moved to tears. Awe-inspiring. Thank you.
What a day out Henry, that shot with high ISO is stunning. Isle of Skye is a magical place and looks like you found a great location there, a match for any location. You got some quality shots and bet at least one makes your for sale prints. You certainly wear your heart on your sleeve, I like your down to earth style and honesty and with locations most of us in the UK can relate to (we cant all get off to far off places like Antarctica if you know what i mean). Totaly inspiring yet again, any time now you should top a well deserved 60k subscribers. Thanks again for this day out, it was brilliant even after watching it for the third time. Top quality as usual.
Wow! You’ve done it again my friend! You have knocked my socks off! What a beautiful location, I am so envious! If I were you, I would just move there! Thank you, Henry! You’ve delivered once again! Sean
Hi Henry, what a nice change to get some really great shots so early into your day, with you looking like the proverbial Cheshire Cat! .. and lets face it the other images weren't too shabby either. What a grand day out! Thanks for sharing it with us, magical.
Henry, first, great name!!! I know that feeling there on that photograph with the river and mountains, for me its a rare moment, but I saw it right there. It put a smile on my face. Right on!
Please please please, next time you're up in Skye take the A87 left at Portree, up to UIG then jump on the A855 round the coastal road right round the very top North of the island back down to Portree. It will blow your mind. You'd probably be best camping half way as there's so much to see. You can do the old man of storr on the way back down too
Henry, what can I say - had to watch this twice it was so good. I love how much you love where you go and what you do. You really are “Living the dream!”
Awe, Henry, mate, that was spectacular. Great views, great photos, great 'HENthusiasm' as ever We might have to change your name to MacTurner with your love for Caledonia. 12/10 for this video
You are pretty lucky to see those views without rain. When I was at the Sligachan in October the rain was horizontal and I had to hide behind the road bridge between squalls.
Sky... oh my i hope one day before my days are over...its feels like a million miles away for me here in devon, As always henry you've done it justice mate well done mate love your videos keep up the great work mate you keep us entertained
It's funny to see your FaV image of the day after the beautiful wide landscape images. I love this image too and I like to shoot deep into the landscape probably because I'm and introvert person and love intimate photography. Yes what a beautiful day man.
Totally amazing images !!!! I am disabled, so you can imagine how much I jumped for joy to see the car park at the beginning and all those epic shots that yo u took within 100yards of the car !! Book me a space !
Totally blown away by the scenery and your photos, all of which are just superb. Awe-inspiring video and such a great incentive to visit Skye. Perhaps the Scottish Tourist Board will get you on board. Now wouldn't that be grand? Cheers. Ken
Mmm, Mmm, that last image Henry! very understated but so different to grand, snow capped vistas - even with mist, although I'd take that on any given day, great stuff
Madness brings on the magic of photography! 👍🏻
Your pure joy in what you do inspires me to continue to look for and appreciate the beauty around me.
That feeling at the beginning of this video. I felt exactly the same as I walked from the car park. Sometimes, just sometimes, you feel like the luckiest guy on earth and it leaves you breathless.
Old Man of Storr, Henry from above, looking down to the south, as the sunrises. Capture the moment.
One word....MAGNIFICENT!
Just like you Henry, "Speachless" WOW! What fantastic shots. Brilliant!
