I hope you won't mind me saying this but when you're in your element you're like a child in a sweet shop...all smiles and exuding happiness! It's a joy to behold. Lovely video (as usual) and all the images are stunning. Just can't make up my mind between the pano and the final image but on balance I think I prefer the final image...to me it speaks more of the Lake District. Cheers. Ken😀

I was almost about to pull the trigger on the 24-200 until I saw the announcement of the 24-120 f/4. I'm torn because of the extra reach at 200mm but the constant f4 in the new lens is attractive and will pair nicely with the 14-30 f/4 and be consistent through that 14mm all the way to the 120mm range on top of being a light weight hiking kit.

I have the same kit as you Henry, Z7 with 14-30 and 24-70f4 and the 24-200. I also used to switch to DX to get more reach, giving me an approx 20mp shot. However now I never change to DX, keep it in FX with all those lovely 45mp and crop in Lightroom. This gives me an option of selecting a crop that might be better than the one I had in mind and not wasting image size.

My go to lens is the 24-120, because I didn't know about the 24-200. It's a great lens. I also have the 14-24 f 2.8, and I need a 100-400 or some such, but not very often.

Loved the sun star at the end best. It was the colors (greens, oranges, lilac splotch here, electric blue there), the way the light deepened some, the shadows softened others (all in one shot). And that orange sun star! Entertaining and engrossing video as always. Thanks for taking me up the fells with ya! Cheers!

Great shots, liked the one with the ice the best. I agree, a lot of people think you only need a wide lens for landscape shots. I have a Tamron 70-300mm SP VC that I originally bought because I enjoy shooting wildlife on the side, but it's turned out to be one of my favorite lenses for landscape shots too, got some wonderful panos with it as well.

Waving at the sheep! You're Baaarmy!! On a serious note though.. well.. a couple of serious notes really, yes, you are a very lucky lad to be able to do what you do for a living. I'd love to do what you do.. and two, it never ceases to amaze me that you seem to know just exactly where you are.. you can just point to a Fell and name it, and say "I climbed up there a few weeks ago!" You must know the place like the back of your hand!? My main lens, by the way, is an 18-200mm but I do use a crop sensor camera so it's not quite as wide. Still versatile though. I do find I don't really need to use much else.
