brilliant Cliff ..to have the place to yourself was an added bonus , the light on the Storr was something else .. the images are stunning ..I know the effort you put in to get to these places and it certainly pays off ...im heading up climbing next weekend for a week so il need to stop off and try that selfie 👌 once again keep up the good work and your output ...1st class 👌
A real bonus having it to myself. Yes the light was fantastic. Enjoy the climb next weekend and have fun. Hopefully the weather will be kind for you. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Cliff.
Glad to see that you survived the attacks of the „flying teeth“. These shiny images are the right reward for this strenuous hike up to the top. 👍 … cheers, 😊
My favourite place is that been a few years since I was last there however this October I WILL BE BACK can’t wait some cracking images as per fella and one hell of a selfie 👌👍
Thank you for watching and the support. I hope when you visit the weather is kind. Hopefully no midges too. Again thank you for watching and your kind comment. Cliff.
Thank you Denny. Also thank you for watching and your support, lots of places to cover this year on Scottish landscape and back doing more international too. Again thank you. 🙏
Very beautiful images, thank you for the journey! I highly recommend "skin so soft" for the midges!! It works perfect. You can still feel them on the surface of your skin but they will not bite you anymore. Please let me know if you like it. Best regards Yamo
Thank you 🙏 for watching, support and your kind comment. I use smidge and skin so soft on occasions but this time I was unprepared. Next time the midge net will be out. Thank you again for your kind comment. Cliff.
Some Cracking Images there. Love the 35 second dash, I assumed you were using a remote control for those things. Must be great to have the place to yourself and the midges 😅
Aye, just throw 35 sec on the Intervalometer remote, enough time to get around to selfie rock. Having the place to myself is really unheard of. I was expecting the location to be busy. Thanks for watching Paul and your kind comment. Cliff.
True, the midgies love it from June - it's always been really sunny when I've been to Skye (February to June usually) - norther Scotland was beautiful, just got back after three weeks up there - so many cuckoos!!
Magic as usual, Cliff, it is definitely a beautiful otherworldly place and in that Light just perfect, I Hope your Blood transfusion went well after the Midges, they really are a curse.
@@GusMcCrae01 The midges are here from the months of May until September, it all depends on how bad they can be due to the weather and batch that hatch. But it wouldn’t be Scotland without the midge..👍
Thanks you very much from Montreal. Very indeed well done. I plan to go in UK for the first time next fall, mid september and already reserved 4 days in Portree. Can you tell me when did you go there in order to validate with Photopill. Did you arrive in the parking before the sunrise. Look that you where on your photography spot when the sun start to rise. Thanks again!!
@@bobvila1010 Hi. Firstly, Thank you for the kind comment. I’m glad you are planning a trip to skye. Ideally you need to be heading up the Storr at least an hour before sunrise(head torch a must). It should really take no more than an hour to the main plateau where you look back towards the old man of Storr. Although the Isle of Skye is unpredictable with the weather, (MISTY ISLE). 4 days in Portree, well it’s only a 25min drive to the main car park. Hope this helps and I hope you have the weather on your side when you visit. Cliff. 👍
Beautiful Cliff ! 😍💙
Thank you 🙏
Awesome Cliff! As you said, the photographer’s paradise.
Indeed! Thank you for watching. 🙏

Always feels as Skye has the worst midges. Great photos as normal.
