I’ve been a supporter of the idea of selling furnitures but personally, I want to see more smaller furnitures. Not many people have big houses and I just like little, useful things. Again, congrats Chris and thank you.
Another well done piece. I truly enjoy your videos in that you don’t speed up the build. I’m an old guy and no longer enjoy that sped up, frenetic style. Your explanations are usually answering questions that I have pooping up in my head so you seem very intuitive about that. That’s a really pretty piece. Congratulations on your collaboration with the furniture company, I sincerely hope that works out well for all. Thanks.
Your videos are very relaxing yet very informative , the designs are very personal and full of life , what distinguishs you from other makers is paying attention to the small details and that my friend is what a professional designer and builder is all about .
Congrats on the collab. My parents just built their own place and I'll be sending them the link. I think knowing who designed and made a piece of furniture is really special, and adds value to it. Also, great video! Don't feel too much pressure to over-do them with production; the videos feel authentic, genuine and homemade that way, just like your pieces.
Keep going....Only way is up.....If you're wanting to make furniture for a living.....You;re going the right way......You have the talent......JUST KEEP DOING WHAT YOU AR DOING.......it will come to you......and they will come to you
You created similar solids... Scale factor is 1:2 Ratio of surface areas is 1:4 Ratio of volumes is 1:8 More generally... Scale Factor is a:b Ratio of surface areas is a^2:b^2 Ratio of volumes is a^3:b^3 Love your channel!
I was a critic a while back. But i like the furniture idea. If i were living in a house, i would definitely be interested in these items. I love MCM inspired furniture. It's making a comeback.
I love everything about this!!! Having furniture pieces designed by you available for shopping is just fantastic! Just like Johnny said, I would totally buy one as well if I couldn't make stuff as well. You are amazing. That is all.
That trapezoidal console is the freaking bomb! So awesome that it can be bought now. Ironic as I never liked mid century stuff growing up, but love it more and more now.
Congrats on the deal. I have been listening to the podcast and I have been interested in how all of that worked out for you. It is great to see someone parlay the you tube into something tangible. Congrats again!! Keep making cool stuff and cool videos.
Very nice build and congratulations! I have to say I've been watching your videos for a while now and really enjoy them. They are very relaxing to watch.
Awesome man! Great as always. I probably missed a few, but it was refreshing scrolling through the comments and not seeing any negative chatter. Hope this new venture is very successful for you 👍🏼
Your furniture is amazing, and your videos are both educational and entertaing. Your furniture is the type of thing I would buy, but sadly im in Australia and shipping is a killer. I hope the sales do really well, because I'm happy to keep seeing your videos pop up on my UA-cam feed.
Go for it Chris!!! I really believe you have a great opportunity. As the say!! 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained', and you dnt ever wanna live with 'what ifs'. I wish you all the best of luck with this path, and cannot wait to see all the new vids and posts you make. As alway.. I love you work.
Chris Salomone no problem. Thank you for the great inspiration. I am itching to build something, but havnt gotten a workshop or space yet, as we just immigrated to the UK. So your vids are my vice at the moment.. along with W.Walker.
Congratulations to you and your new venture. As a former small business owner / operator, I was always exciting to take and idea from thought to reality. That is, in my opinion, the beauty of the small business and where innovation lies. Best Wishes.
Congratulations Chris! Great project and process. I always find it amazing how little hand tools you use which is great to see. The end results are always great! I am Happy for you and may you have a ton of success.
Way to go on the deal. Your designs are cool and since you found a manufacturer willing to produce them out of solid wood, that's fantastic. I was really afraid you were going to say, "They'll slap 'em together out of chipboard and duct tape, but I got paid."
The forstner bit might have been dull, but it also looked like you had the drill press set too fast for this large of a bit. Congrats on the furniture endeavor! That's really cool. Enjoyed the video, as usual.
After a couple crazy days of my day job preventing me from catching up on my UA-cam sub vids I have been rewarded with what is probably my favorite Foureyes vid yet. Beautiful project, amazing design, cool editing, and congrats on your Woodcastle venture.
At first I was kinda sad you were"selling out" your not. But Im really excited because Albany is about 15 minutes south of my home. Congratulations! Maybe one day ill get one of my favorite youtubers.
I am seriously in love with your style! I've been a fan of mid-century modern for a long time. But most of the MCM stuff I see is "outdated" and looks too ... retro. You add in a modern flare to everything you've done. Def have given me a lot of inspiration for the future when I get into designing/making my own garage/weekend projects. Cheers!
Thanks Daniel...this one is more of a partnership. They aren't paying me for anything - basically, if it goes well, we both win, if it doesn't, we both lose. So, really hoping for some long-term success :)
Congrats. I think the partnership is awesome. I hope it's a success for you. Would love to see that giant X TV stand you made to into production. That thing was sweet.
Geoff, if there is enough interest, we are listening. At over 800k views, I am sure there are others who would like it too. I just don't know if its the kind of thing that is a best match for our type of manufacturing. Let us know what you think.
Wood Castle Furniture, Chris is one of my favourite creators, so I hope whatever pieces you guys do are all huge successes. I will definitely look into it the next time I need a cool piece for my house.
The 1/2 or 1/8 size version turned out really great. Can't wait for the poopoo stucious padoola build. Best of luck with the furniture endeavor. I'll make sure to share your link!
Excellent build and congratulations on the collaboration. I sent the link off to my wife to see what she might like. May end up grabbing something cause it all looks so darn cool and we got a space to fill in our living room!
I love this design. It's so cool. I'm extremely happy for you man. We don't know each other, but through your videos you make people feel invested in your life. Great ability. Congrats on the furniture partnership! Keep it up Chris.
Chris here's hoping your new venture is a financial success. I really enjoy the style of your projects as well as the videos you make about them. My only question about this build, is the lower small piece that joins the back leg to the front, to my eye it throws off the lines?
Hey Chris! Not a real huge wood worker (or a wood worker at all), but these videos are fascinating. Great quality and excellent work both visually and in craftsmanship! It’s been a new staple in my media diet ever since I learned I was going to be a dad. Thanks for the beautiful work!
Chris I really like the way you put your videos together. I found it funny when you mentioned critiques of your choice of music and the narration in an earlier video...both of which may be my favorite parts of your art of presentation. I checked out Wood Castle and am very impressed with them and their selection of your pieces. I can't see how that won't work...looks like it fits right in to their scheme and style. Good luck! I'm loking forward to your next video(s). Great job!
Turned out awesome man, I love the scaled down adult furniture for a kid’s room, might have to try that. Also, congrats on the furniture pieces! If I wasn’t a woodworker, I’d totally buy one.
I'd love to see all of those things happen as well. I think we've got a good 3 piece catalog to start with, so hopefully things go well and we have more opportunities to expand :)
Could be...also, just to let you know. They come semi flat packed (you can see me assembling the coffee table in the vid to get an idea of the size) so could be worth it to save the 15% and shipping costs and just keep it boxed until you move. Or take it apart and put it back in the box. Just a though :0)
Atta boy Chris! Giving up on your dreams was the best thing you could have done haha! Came back around. Congratulations man your work is awesome, and well deserved of success!
Hey Chris, I have been binge watching your videos lately. Your a really talented builder. I think it shows with the plethora of other builders videos that, if you used to make furniture to sell they are a lot better built. You can really tell with other people’s videos that they have never sold anything as not to sound harsh but they are quite shoddy and bodged. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Congratulations on the partnership, I’m hoping this venture works out for you. I had a look at the items on offer and the prices and I think you are making a very modest profit on those. Everything I make is bespoke so the price shoots up, I’ve never had the opportunity to make a production run of something but it must drastically reduce your production costs. I might give it a try one day.
Could you make videos about selling your own furniture? I am a design student and would love you get the perspective of someone selling their own work.
Congrats Chris! That's super exciting! I loved watching this build, and I like the idea of making scale furniture. I studied sculpture in school, and we used to make models of our large project ideas. Making models for furniture is a great way to work through design concepts without investing as much in materials or space. I may have to make some miniatures myself... Thanks for sharing!
my first comment, and i really think you got to be in a higher "design-place"! it's really amazing how you put your ideas into place! keep it up, pls! much love from austria (no not australia!) :D
Congratulations Chris!!!! You know we are all pulling for you Awesome video and website really awesome looking very clean and easy to use. Wish you the best of luck.
I’ve been a supporter of the idea of selling furnitures but personally, I want to see more smaller furnitures. Not many people have big houses and I just like little, useful things. Again, congrats Chris and thank you.
you applying finish is one of the most relaxing things in the world
The music, the soft tone of narration, and watching something being created is really relaxing and great to listen to. Great channel!
Congrats Chris! That's awesome and amazing!! So happy for you!
Hey David - really appreciate that! Hoping for the best, and just gonna try to keep grinding to make the best a reality :)
Thanks.
wow Chris. I feel really comfortable in the way you handle wood products carefully.
Your videos are very relaxing yet very informative , the designs are very personal and full of life , what distinguishs you from other makers is paying attention to the small details and that my friend is what a professional designer and builder is all about .
Thanks 😃
Nothing like having your furniture sold and you don't have to build zillions of same this. Really happy for you Chris.
Thanks man. We’ll see how it goes.
That is awesome and I really appreciate that...and the kind words :)
Horn went beep, engine purred, friendliest sound you've ever heard. I've been reading a lot of little blue truck lately. Congrats on the new venture!!
Congratulations on the partnership and selling your designs. What the hell are people giving thumbs down for?
Keep going....Only way is up.....If you're wanting to make furniture for a living.....You;re going the right way......You have the talent......JUST KEEP DOING WHAT YOU AR DOING.......it will come to you......and they will come to you
Definitely will. Keep working hard and good things will happen :)
You created similar solids...
Scale factor is 1:2
Ratio of surface areas is 1:4
Ratio of volumes is 1:8
More generally...
Scale Factor is a:b
Ratio of surface areas is a^2:b^2
Ratio of volumes is a^3:b^3
Love your channel!
Big ups. Getting a deal like that is the dream for many of us. Hope to eventually be able to afford a piece.
Thanks man...you'll get there :)
I was a critic a while back. But i like the furniture idea. If i were living in a house, i would definitely be interested in these items. I love MCM inspired furniture. It's making a comeback.
Thanks Sobman...appreciate it! :)
I hope to be like you, someday. Striking the balance between successful creative pursuits, and raising a family.
Thanks Bobby...appreciate that!
Really love the channel Cris - like the commentary gives a new spin to woodworking - wish you success with your joint venture
So happy for you to make a deal with the furniture company. I hope this doesn’t stop making videos
Congrats! Love seeing good things happen to (seemingly) good people.
Haha. .... seemingly
I love everything about this!!! Having furniture pieces designed by you available for shopping is just fantastic! Just like Johnny said, I would totally buy one as well if I couldn't make stuff as well. You are amazing. That is all.
Maybe one day you'll wake up and have forgotten how :)
JK. Hopefully that doesn't happen. Thanks for the kind words Kris!
That's awsome! I grew up in Albany and know exactly the company you are talking about. Congratulations and good luck on this endeavor!
Thanks! That’s cool.
That trapezoidal console is the freaking bomb! So awesome that it can be bought now. Ironic as I never liked mid century stuff growing up, but love it more and more now.
Time to deck out your house in all MCM stuff :)
Congratulations on the furniture deal!!! That’s pretty cool... the world could use some more 4eyes designs.
Couldn't agree more Robert!
Congrats on the deal. I have been listening to the podcast and I have been interested in how all of that worked out for you.
It is great to see someone parlay the you tube into something tangible. Congrats again!! Keep making cool stuff and cool videos.
That remains to be seen... but here is to hoping.
Amazing project Chris!
Looks bloody beautiful!! Love from Scotland 🏴
Thanks man.
Very nice build and congratulations! I have to say I've been watching your videos for a while now and really enjoy them. They are very relaxing to watch.
Thanks man. Appreciate it.
Awesome man! Great as always. I probably missed a few, but it was refreshing scrolling through the comments and not seeing any negative chatter. Hope this new venture is very successful for you 👍🏼
Glad for you buddy. Whenever I graduate college and get my own pad. I'll most def buy that coffee table
Nicely done. Congrats on the new line.
Your furniture is amazing, and your videos are both educational and entertaing. Your furniture is the type of thing I would buy, but sadly im in Australia and shipping is a killer. I hope the sales do really well, because I'm happy to keep seeing your videos pop up on my UA-cam feed.
Hey Rob...thanks...yeah, I could imagine shipping would be pretty pricey all the way over there :)
Outstanding video and introduction to our partnership!
Totally agree :)
Thanks Andrew...you're totally right, and thank you for the well wishes :)
Nice work as always ...and wish you the best in your furniture deal ....you deserve being noticed for sure !!!!
So pumped for you! You should totally do videos showing how to assemble the pieces.
I recently started designing an building furniture myself. And found your channel.. I'm very impressed in what you do here!
Congratulations Chris! Great project and process. I always find it amazing how little hand tools you use which is great to see. The end results are always great! I am Happy for you and may you have a ton of success.
right on. That sounds like a fun gig. This a rad piece. your precisions is always on point.
Way to go on the deal. Your designs are cool and since you found a manufacturer willing to produce them out of solid wood, that's fantastic. I was really afraid you were going to say, "They'll slap 'em together out of chipboard and duct tape, but I got paid."
Congrats on the collab Chris!
So awesome, Chris! Congratulations, you deserve it!
Thanks Zach :)
The forstner bit might have been dull, but it also looked like you had the drill press set too fast for this large of a bit. Congrats on the furniture endeavor! That's really cool. Enjoyed the video, as usual.
Congrats on the wood deal Chris, hard work does payoff.
Thanks Mike :)
After a couple crazy days of my day job preventing me from catching up on my UA-cam sub vids I have been rewarded with what is probably my favorite Foureyes vid yet. Beautiful project, amazing design, cool editing, and congrats on your Woodcastle venture.

I'm not selling out...but I hope the furniture does :)
Loved the video and the announcement. Very happy for you, and I really hope it goes so well that that record player cabinet gets added to the line up!
haha...you never know :)
I always enjoy watching your videos and hope to make my own furniture someday.
OMG I remember watching your first video when you first uploaded it. Congratulations on your new venture!!
Thanks. 😃
Love your video’s Chris. Great explanation and video. You have the nack. Please keep them coming. Thanks
As always, love your stuff! Super fun to see scaled furniture! Congrats on your partnership, and excited to see what else comes out of it!
Cheers!
Staying true to the kids size furniture 😊 loved the video and really going to order something.
Heck yeah man...and thanks! Be aware though...whatever you get will be full adult sized :)
Congratulations Chris on not giving up on your dream....hope the pieces sell like hotcakes!
You and me both :)
Congrats on the new sponsorship! I truly hope it goes well for you.
Thanks Daniel...this one is more of a partnership. They aren't paying me for anything - basically, if it goes well, we both win, if it doesn't, we both lose. So, really hoping for some long-term success :)
Chris Salomone I got my ships crossed.
haha...no worries. I guess there are worse "ships" I could have been attached too :)
Chris Salomone Shiphole?
bravo
Congratulations Chris!
Congrats
Congrats. I think the partnership is awesome. I hope it's a success for you. Would love to see that giant X TV stand you made to into production. That thing was sweet.

That's awesome! Don't forget about the Foureyes15 deal for the next month and a half :)
I love this design. It's so cool. I'm extremely happy for you man. We don't know each other, but through your videos you make people feel invested in your life. Great ability. Congrats on the furniture partnership! Keep it up Chris.
Thanks Rowland...appreciate the kind words :)
Chris here's hoping your new venture is a financial success. I really enjoy the style of your projects as well as the videos you make about them. My only question about this build, is the lower small piece that joins the back leg to the front, to my eye it throws off the lines?
Thanks Pat. To me it doesn’t... but it’s all in the eye of the beholder I suppose 😃
Hey Chris!
Not a real huge wood worker (or a wood worker at all), but these videos are fascinating. Great quality and excellent work both visually and in craftsmanship!
It’s been a new staple in my media diet ever since I learned I was going to be a dad.
Thanks for the beautiful work!
Thanks Erik...and congrats. It's only a matter of time now until you become a real wood worker :P
Chris I really like the way you put your videos together. I found it funny when you mentioned critiques of your choice of music and the narration in an earlier video...both of which may be my favorite parts of your art of presentation. Thank you Nick...appreciate it. Hopefully it picks up and does well!
Good luck with the new furniture endeavour! Those three pieces could work out, based on your unique design!
Another Great Build
Congrats man, great partnership. I love your designs
Insparational as all ways!! Thanks Chris!
Good for you! Good luck.
Turned out awesome man, I love the scaled down adult furniture for a kid’s room, might have to try that. Also, congrats on the furniture pieces! If I wasn’t a woodworker, I’d totally buy one.
haha...I suspect that could be the case for a lot of people who will see these vids :)
Unfinished is an option for the woodworker who wants to save even more.
Unassembled and unfinished would be a nice option to have.
hope to see you do more with the wood castle partnership -- I love your designs and builds and would love to see some make their way into my house
I'd love to see all of those things happen as well. I think we've got a good 3 piece catalog to start with, so hopefully things go well and we have more opportunities to expand :)
I'm moving in July but I've already bookmarked the coffee table for purchase after move in...maybe by then you'll have an end table too ;)
Could be...also, just to let you know. They come semi flat packed (you can see me assembling the coffee table in the vid to get an idea of the size) so could be worth it to save the 15% and shipping costs and just keep it boxed until you move. Or take it apart and put it back in the box. Just a though :0)
Ryan has the right idea here, Chris! This has the makings of an extremely long lived line of furniture. We love his designs too.
Depending on shipping to Australia I might order the credenza.
Nice. I know it costs me a lot just to send a shirt there. 😜
Good luck. Product launch is always exciting and scary at the same time.
Atta boy Chris! Giving up on your dreams was the best thing you could have done haha! Came back around. Congratulations man your work is awesome, and well deserved of success!
a great build! I like the scaled down version you used for kids furniture :)
Thanks! Me too 😃
Exceptional work and best of luck with the business.
Thanks Alex
Hey Chris, I have been binge watching your videos lately. Your a really talented builder. Hey Jack...thanks for the kind words.
Great content Chris! Thanks!
Brian Mcknight??? wow haha, admirables todos los diseños que realizas con mucha delicadesa, se nota el amor que le tienes a la carpinteria, saludos
Just noticed “connect the dots, la la la.” Subtle. Nicely done.
:)
It was pretty subtle.
well done 👍🏻
i just want to reiterate that i really like your channel and voice overs :) more philosophical yarns please!
Thanks Ned....appreciate it :)
ooh, i got a reply!
ha...I always reply :P
Really? How far can i push this? :)
Congrats Chris!
Wow!!!!! 😍😍😍😍the furniture beautiful job
Half size is half as high and half as wide , good video
Good Luck with the venture.
Appreciate it!
Our production has cut the price in half from custom pricing.
Hey Michael...yeah, it was really fun. I'd love to do it again :)
Little blue truck is my favorite!
The Tacoma!? 😃
I know that book so well, sometimes I forget to turn the pages.
my first comment, and i really think you got to be in a higher "design-place"! it's really amazing how you put your ideas into place! keep it up, pls! much love from austria (no not australia!) :D
Thanks Dominik....and I know the different between the two. G'day :P
-"Subscribe!".. ok
"Hit like".. Ok
"Go Ahead and click that noification bell"... Of course Chris... you are the fucking BEST!!
Been following you for a little time, but you make beautiful works! I hope the best! Saludos
Boom. Perfect as always.
Great video Chris, solid quality work, love it......
Best of luck! I'm betting you have great success.
I'm hoping :)
No way! I might have to save up a little and buy myself a trapezoidal media stand.
haha...that would be awesome :)
Congratulations Chris!!!! You know we are all pulling for you Awesome video and website really awesome looking very clean and easy to use. Wish you the best of luck.
I hope the new venture goes well, especially if it means more videos.
