While not a bad product, the Duonamic Eleviia is not for me. Being $120+ with only 2 exercise options, not being as stable, and a handle setup I don't enjoy makes the Crossgrips my go-to moving forward. I do love how easy they are to setup though. Let me know what you think!

does the new addition of the duonamic rings change ur final review? (although those rings are SUPER expensive imo)
No, this might even make it worse as if hang way to low to the ground. Might be easier to hold onto though.
@@GamerBody cool! Thanks for your reply!!
THANK YOU for this review! Very helpful.
Thank you for this! I had concerns with the stability and door frame and you also talked about a cheaper better product I didn't know about.
Thank you, GamerBody!
I have used both the Crossgrips and Duonamic Eleviia. I absolutely love the Duonamic Eleviia and hated the Crossgrips. I bought two sets of Crossgrips and returned both. Have been using Eleviia for over a year now and love them. Super stable. They have no cons in my opinion. I recently purchased Duonamic Rings as an add on to them. Now I can do dips as well. I use them every day at work. Crossgrips were difficult to attach and just never seemed to work properly. To each their own.
I'm glad you like them, I personally couldn't stand them at all :)
Did you not like the thinness of the Crossgrips bars?
@briand5047 Maybe it was user error but I could never get used to attaching the crossgrips to the door frame. Flipping one side down and then clipping it was hit or miss. Sometimes it attached. Sometimes not. Never an issue with the Duonamic.
@@SSTrueLoveMarinus I have the Duonamic on the way. Looking forward to trying it.
@@briand5047 Awesome! I would love to know what you think of them.
These are actually pretty good
They work fine, but since I have the Crossgrips I can't recommend them over those.
can you do a review of their gymnastic rings?
Maybe. I'm not really that big a fan of rings. They remove stability adding another complexity to the exercise (additional skill) that I want removed so I can focus more on the target muscle in the exercise. I also don't have a good setup for them, but I'll keep it in mind.
so its recommended not to do L sits with these???? guess its an easy choice now. I'll be using the cross grips for sure
You can, just know that there is less stability since the handles can freely rotate. Just don't swing forward or backward with them.
@@GamerBody too late. already purchased the cross grips
Not too late, I recommend the Crossgrips as my personal favorite :)
I prefer the Cross Grips too. The material of the Cross Grips also feels premium. For anyone that doesn't like the grips try using a tennis racket grip tape for comfort.
I hope they come out with a Crossgrips 2 and improve the size and grip of the handles. That would make them perfect.
most of these products are like make shift can tell it's inferior materials not even worth 80 bucks even
If it provides enough value over time it is worth it to that person. I wouldn't pay $120 for it, but maybe what it provides would be of that value to someone else. If Crossgrips didn't exist, it might fit that scenario for me, but they have competition so it is not.
Just get the ring attachment and the Eleviia goes from worse than the Crossgrip, to infinitely superior
I think I would be too close to the ground if I added a ring attachment. If you have a tall doorway then I could see it as an option.
can we do a go fund I need to buy an x box not a gizmo exercise equipment plastic go to the gym lok
Save for your Xbox then and go to the gym...
ahhh !0 😜))
Nice! Thank you for reviewing it! Now I know that I don't need it lol.
This looks very unstable so I’m very happy to have a dedicated pull-up bar. Used to have the P-90X pull-up bar but it felt like it was gonna break my door frame.
I used to have the Perfect Fitness Pull-Up Elite (which as great) but I prefer the Crossgrips over these.
Those things are pretty expensive for the same price or if not a little bit more you can get a whole power Tower
Yeah you could, but who wants a giant power tower ;)
@@GamerBody I have one worth every penny.
If you have space that is great! Not needed unless you have something specific you want to do, or just enjoy using it.
@@GamerBody lol
@@marklevine5844 lol yeah that why he just bought one
One thing that worries me about them is the fact that they only sit on the wood part of the doorframe. I was sceptical about classic doorway pull up bars but it seems rock solid in comparison to these handles. Not that I have used them but from a functionality aspect.
I thought the same thing, but in my old apartment and my new house I've had no issues with the frame at all. Not sure if it is how they are designed, or just getting really lucky with sturdy door frames.
What u use then
I'm 270lbs. GGs
There are some other options out there you can use, or focus on pulldowns instead.
Look like should be around $35.00 max
Yeah, for what they are, I agree. If you used them a lot though, that may justify the cost.
I bought the Elevvia, but they were a waste of money for me, because the way my house was made, they don't fit on any of the door frames; they are all too wide and/or too tall (I can't use pull up bars for the same reason; they don't fit the tall door frames). I measured before ordering, but they still didn't fit. I couldn't send it back because it wasn't for a reason I'm not happy with the use of it, so I'm stuck with it and can't use it. I've thought of trying to have the door frames rebuilt, but I don't want to spend more money just to use these things.
That is unfortunate. Did you buy it right off their website? If Amazon, you should be able to return it. I've recently moved to items off the doorframe and while expensive, the IronMaster Super Bench Pro with pull-up attachment has been great. It is a lot more in terms of equipment you need, but still fits in my small closet when not in use.
@@GamerBody Yeah I bought direct from their site.
I have more sturdy bar for home.
Nice, which other one do you use?
@@GamerBody a multi grip pull-up bar I’ve owned for a long time.
@@Ronnieleec Nice, I used to use the Perfect Fitness Pull-up bars and they worked pretty well.
You got this wrong. They are sturdy and easy to travel with, especially plane travel.
If you can keep from swinging at all I'd agree, but compared to the Crossgrips they are not. They also hang too low and that is why I do not recommend them over the Crossgrips.
i rather use the Crossgrips
You can also use them for push-ups, which you can't do with these.
Can tell from afar that they are flimsy and gimmicky. This should cost 15 dollars, not 125.
They say it is some Aerospace material. They are pretty solid but not enough surface space on my doorframe to make them stable enough. With handles that allow free movement, it makes it pretty sketchy.
This is a terrible design
It's just holding the moulding which is held by tiny finishing nails
Right now I am looking at options where a doorframe isn't involved. I also want it to be something I can store in my closet, so that limits the options a lot. However, there are a few options, but tend to be expensive.
