    Thank you for this review it on point.
    Not paying $100 for plastic 😕

    I appreciate that you said how much you paid and then you actually showed the actual total price on Amazon. You're spot on the plastic, I can't see myself paying more than $50 bucks for that!

      Yeah I was pretty upset by this design overall. I do have the Crossgrips by the same company and they are EXCELLENT! By far my favorite doorway pull-up device I have tried so far. Still using it to this day :)

    Good review or should I say reviews.
    I'm glad you did both of these so I can compare.
    It would be cool if you did the Duonamic one too...
    it looks easier to put on, less likely to pinch you.
    It looks like it would be easier to hang rings?
    Can you attach a suspension trainer to any of these or must pull be straight down?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  2 роки тому

      I've seen the Duonamic and looking at it for something to test against the Crossgrips. Thanks for the suggestion.
      You can only use these in a vertical plane. Because of that I would not use a TRX style of training equipment with it or the Crossgrips.

    Love the videos. This is not exactly about this pull up bar but why not review a pull up/dip station combo?

      Takes up too much space for me. If you have the room go for it :)

    Can you do a review on the Eleviia by Duonamic pull up handles?? They look really cool and I'm interested to know what you think of them.

      2nd. The Duonanmic seems to be the best and I'd like a review

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  3 роки тому

      Yeah they are on my list to look at. My current favorite are the Crossgrips.

    • @surfinjim
      @surfinjim 3 роки тому

      Hi, don't you think the Duonamic can easily detach if you slightly oscillate or pull slightly sideways? An articulated parallelogram structure would be best, the weight of the user would increase the attachment strength. But maybe these Duonamic jave such a parallelogram, I simply don't see it on the pictures.

    Sadly those cost almost 300€ over here where I live which is tripple the cost... sad thing is that no other bar fit my doors

      Hmmm that seems pretty rought. I use the Crossgrips right now (same company) but they are about the same price.

    It looks so cheap. Duonamic's is top of the line... pretty much luxury level

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Рік тому

      I don't like the Duonamics at all compared to the Crossgrips. I didn't feel safe with Duonamics with the small surface area.

  • @joeyblowguns4070

    Duonamic is better, they are plastic but very heavy duty.

      Same with the Crossgrips. Far better than these.

    Should read 275 pounds of "force". A much lighter person can break these things while kipping

    AS A PROFESSIONAL CARPENTER, I DON'T RECOMMEND USING THIS PRODUCT ON A DOOR CASING...YOUR GOING TO GET HURT, AND DESTROY YOUR DOORJAMB...

  • @Wayne-hp5co

    That price is ridiculous I mean if you don't have room but for the price and if you have room get a pull-up station

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  2 роки тому +1

      While I don't like this product, I do love the Crossgrips and they are about the same price and I'd gladly pay for it again. No door damage with Crossgrips so far, but these feel cheap and not worth this price.

    Yeah Tex, lots of plastic. I guess if you are heavy enough to break it.....you would probably be to heavy to do a pullup😀

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  3 роки тому +1

      Most likely. I just don't like the feel of it at all especially for the price.

    No wiggle room for elbows............
    For that reason ...I'm out !
    I personally like bars that are away from the frame...but that's just me.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  2 роки тому +1

      That's fine. If your doorway is really narrow these are terrible. You can also do neutral grip easily with them which I also like to do quite a lot. If I went back to a doorway bar, I'd use the Perfect Fitness Pull-Up Bar Elite which I have a review on as well. Right now I use the Crossgrips.

      This was at my old place and to work out in my office, this was the door. There are other doors in that house, but I don't feel like walking around my house setting up pull-up bars ;)

    Name of the brand sounds like one of those cheap Chinese companies and the way it's made confirms it. I would not pay more than $20 for that.

    I used the Ryze-Ups for about two or three months. The plastic construction didn't bother me and felt rather durable regardless. They remind me of a pair of Nintendo Gamecubes.
    The real chink in the armor is the rubber strip coming off the crossbar, i.e. the thing that rests on the doorframe when you set them up. Over time, the glue or adhesive wears off the rubber and will eventually lose its grip on the door. I have almost fallen while doing pull-ups because of this.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Рік тому

      That is scary! I really didn't like them from the start, but now even less. I still have the Crossgrips and hang from them all the time.
