Excellent interview! As someone who survived a narcissist, it is very empowering to be able to leave. Anger and faith is what helped give me energy to say enough. Thanks for sharing this!

This was an excellent interview. I used to be married to a narcissist. Before the word "narcissist" became a catch phrase, we used to call it egotistical. Thank God we're no longer married, and have NO intentions of ever going back, because my life is more peaceful; but I pray for him. I hope he gets help eventually.

First and foremost, I really commend you guys on casting such a wide net in your topics of discussion. Very informative and engaging with this one. I went from listening to this while working to pausing the work and giving this my undivided attention and took notes.
Lots to unpack - my key light bulb moments were:
1 - They want what they want when they want it and they feel entitled to have it.
2 - No one should ever have to justify their hurt at being mistreated by someone whose abusive.
3 - The passive aggressive types - love that’s conditioned by expectations and not for just being yourself.
4 - The talk about narrator voices, and when using a narrator voice, you speak of what you’re experiencing, you don’t become what you’re experiencing.
5 - And save the best for last - The “D’s - Denial, Defend, Devalue, Dismiss, Distraction
We’ve all had to deal with narcissists, especially in our personal and professional relationships. this was very informative and insightful. Kudos to you ladies for bringing more awareness to this topic. ✨💫

Thank you for sharing. This is my soon to be ex-husband. I didn’t realize until we got married. He was a totally different person in the courtship and showed his true self afterwards and more so once I got pregnant. I got my fill when I went into labor 2 months early because of stress. I filed for divorce after my child was discharged from the NICU and saw he didn’t care about us.

I am so glad that you reposted the video. I got a notification this morning and listened to this wonderful helpful podcast on the way to driving my kids to school. It was very enlightening and I listened to it with my 12th grade daughter who will be majoring in psychology next year so it was a great learning tool and insightful for her as well! I am so glad the two of you are walking your God given paths. You are using your platform and your content is relevant and reaching mini who are struggling and so many of your topics. . This topic really resonated and thank you for checking the boxes of what I already knew in my own personal relationship and what I don’t want to deal with anymore🙌🏽

there are definitely female narcissists because my mother is one and she ruined my self esteem for most of my life… after a lifetime of damage that she caused the whole family using me as the scapegoat i finally cut her off-after a cancer diagnosis. i just couldn’t deal with her selfish behavior and a life threatening illness at once.
