      @@rubberpiano so the digital piano arrived, and omg I forgot just how much I used to love keyboards... side note, what possessed me to get a digital piano I’ll never know… given I’ve only ever played keyboards, and even then not classical trained … getting these old fingers to hit the keys consistently hard enough :-o
      anyway… quick feedback.
      Re “Don't worry too much about adding the extra notes on the right hand”
      Lol, I wished I noticed that earlier… lol I was stressing over that for a couple of days … I went to another site which had notes to this piece, and guess what, they were wrong, your version much better…
      At first I thought it was impossible to keep up with you on the right hand, but muscle memory is a beautiful thing 😊.

    • @rubberpiano
      @rubberpiano  5 днів тому

      @sophiebride-gq8fn I played it through midi so it triggers the M1 sound on the computer. Unfortunately with the Roland you can't add samples, but I've just changed it for a nord.......the first sample I've added is the M1🎹 😁

      @@rubberpiano the piano is great... I mean, its a very basic no frills bit of kit, as I googled for what's the best entry level digital piano and Roland FP10 came up... doesnt have the beautiful crisp sound of what you're playing here... but its fantastic to be playing again, and it was a nice surprise that I still could play after 30 years... I was attempting the boogey woogey the other day, just the real simple one I knew in my teens, 2 sets of chords for each hand... the left hand rythm beat was easy enough, but for the life of me I couldnt remember the chords for the right hand... then astounded myself and my 5 year old who was watching, by closing my eyes and having a go, and like magic I remembered them... gotta love muscle memory :-)
