Great video tutorials !! can you please show how to play xpansions move your body ? the lead 27 secs in is amazing , that would make my day ! keep up the good work !
Great video keyboard tutorial, have subscribed to your channel. Thanks.... I can now play 'Where Love Lives' piano riff, on my Roland VR-09 at home, during this covid lockdown. I am struggling to work out another classic dance track. Please can you post a tutorial video of 'Dreamer' by Livin' Joy (Original mix). The base note sequence, from start of track to 45 seconds. The full on, 4 cord riff that follows. Then at 1.50, there is a funky keyboard bridge section. Cheers.... Mal
Cheers, you're very welcome, glad you are getting use out it and to be honest it's keeping me occupied at the moment too. Where love lives is a classic 👌🏻 I've just had another listen to living joy, should be do-able in future, I see what you mean about the organ bass and the echoed synth riff..... Quite technical to play at the same time. I'll add it to my future tutorials playlist, as I've got a few requests to get through. Can you send me the link to the version you want please. 👍🏻🎹
@@rubberpiano Thanks for the quick reply and I guess it is 'Quite technical to play'. For a link, please search.... Livin' Joy - Dreamer , on the LivinJoyVEVO UA-cam channel.
@@rubberpiano I managed to turn down the bright sound using the transpose option. Still doesn’t sound as good as yours mind. It’s a Yamaha YPT 260. Cheers for getting back about this. Great tune!!
@@IIETMII thanks again, I bet using a pair of headphones would make a difference, it might just sound a bit thin coming through the built in speakers. Or run the keyboard through another speaker, that might help. Headphones is easiest 👍🏻 The transpose will alter the pitch/tuning. I've got mine in standard tuning 🎹😁
"FPI Project, Rich in Paradise" would be another house classic. Simple three chords. Or what about "The Floor Foundation, Music for the Masses" another belter 😉
This is a great way of discovering forgotten tunes. Cheers, Ive added them to the list 🎹 (it's a mahoosive list though........ It'll keep me going for the next few years 🙈😂)
@@THEPINKFLOYDIANS what an epic tune 👌🏻😃 I'm ashamed to to say I don't think I've ever heard that before. How it builds so many layers is amazing, making a similar backing track would be a challenge, but definitely worth a go 💻👍🏻😁
Just had a little listen Andy, it seems fairly straightforward. I've tried it on the keyboard and I think it's only a couple of chords. 1.LH G# RH B D# F# 2.LH C# RH C# F G# I think its just variations on those 2 chords with extra higher notes to give it slight tone changes. Hope it helps 👍🏻
It's a Roland Jupiter 80. Great solid bit of kit, very reliable. The Korg M1 sound is coming from a plugin on ableton, using my keyboard to trigger the midi channel 🎹
Thanks, it's a Roland Jupiter 80. Great solid, reliable bit of kit. They've stopped making them anymore, which is a shame but you can pick them up for half the price now.
One of the best piano riffs ever. 💯
My absolute favourite riff the intro to this, if I can pull this off when I finally start playing I'll be so happy!.
You’ve nailed it! Certainly my favourite version of her song, Keep em coming! Phil
Cheers Phil, much appreciated, I'm enjoying making them. Happy playing 🎹🎹🎹
Spectacular!!!!!! Now if only I were your next door neighbor...!!!
This is kind of like a funky house version. Love it.

That’s very good, but what about the “I’ll take you down, deep down where love lives” part?
Good point, I've not even tried that bit 🙈 🎹🎹🎹🎹
Back to the drawing board 😁
Excellent
Ya dancer! Thanks 🙂
Looks like a Roland Jupiter 80 😎😎😍😍
Yes, fantastic keyboard, I can't believe they stopped making them. Have you got one? 🎹😁
Just got a keyboard and want to learn how to play this like you, but my keyboard sounds different 🤔 I’m a total noob.
Are you using a bright piano sound? What kind of keyboard is it?

Love this song. What are you playing in the left hand though?
😂😂😂 Just E
It's my Yorkshire accent 🙈
The rythym is created by tapping between my little finger and thumb, in time with tapping my right hand.
@@rubberpiano No worries! Sort of worked it out. It's a great dance rift.
