Jokes aside, I think audio pipe has some really good audio equipment for how cheap some of it is, pretty under rated company
Yeah I’ve been fans of them for a long time
@@ParkerTheBasshead Audio pipe is solid 👌 💪 equipment just follow the ratings... I was calling Parker an audio pimp... if we can't laugh 😆 why do this hobby... you know 😎
I agree them 1500 .1 apmn amplifier will surprise you
For sure. If you shop around I've seen BDC2s as low as 109$ and bdc3s as low as 130$ for 12s.
For the average person 2 bdc3 12s in a good box on 2-3k is a budget banger.
The bdc4s and 15s are solid choices for ppl that want more.
Y’all forget how massive the parent company of AudioPipe just is. It’s one of the largest manufacturers of audio in the world and has been around since 1989
Big shout out to little J had me dieing.. 5 min on the torture test shows how well these subs are built.. Also brining back the aluminum cone FTW
You a dealer?
@@FinsleysCustomCarAudionot good business! Plenty others that'll probably match or beat the price with better customer service and don't screw over their customers overall.
@@rjm31992
Thank You.
@@FinsleysCustomCarAudio no problem, wish i could put the brand in better light but even with chances to fix mine and other situations they rather take the "i dont need you" attitude and the next company was night and day!
And Jeffery if you happen to see this, fire Darren but i dont believe he's a bad employee. I believe he followed instructions from his boss but who am i and many others that dealt with him and many others with the same results so 🤷🏽♂️ @bigjeffaudio
I now think these two don’t like each other…lol.
My aluminum cone Eclipse from way way back in the day did that cracking effect too. I think is the clear coating cracking from the movement of the aluminum.
I agree!
I miss those Eclipse subs❤
Aluma pros were the best subs out when I was a kid
My cousin had a pair of eclipse 10’s back in the early 2000’s those things use to bump!
Always loved the different look of audiopipe. Their roots are pioneer so their performance shouldn’t be a surprise.
They come from pioneer really how did they end up branching out?
@@chandlercameron9977 it's a misunderstanding, they have nothing to do with Pioneer. A description for them states "For nearly 2 decades Audiopipe has been a pioneer and leader for nearly 2 decades." That would be the worst statement a company could have to describe them.
@@chandlercameron9977the creator of audio pipe’s father worked for pioneer in the 1960s
I have 3 original 12" eye candies i been storing for years. They are a very good woofer. Among my top 5 favs.
That’s super cool man!!
Good job. Id like to see adire audio brahma, stereo integrity sql and maybe the idq make an appearance on the channel
Great skit! LOL! Was not expecting that. Good review as always. Thanks Parker!
Glad you liked it man!
The stress marks are from cone distortion when the surrounds crease on that long throw
He's over powering the fuck out of em.
Yeah did you see how bad the rubber surround was creasing had some hard flats in it from way too much power being applied.
And too low of frequency
I'm not sure what people learn from his channel. Every video I've seen is him abusing product then lookin confused with comments like "I don't know what would cause this" those woofers on half power in a box uned around mid to high 30s would put up some great numbers.
Audio Pipes APMN 2000 has been banging my Skar EVL 12 for 2 years now with no issues. Super under rated company for the performance in my opinion.
Looks like they might need to rethink that finish on it. Not sure if its suppose to crack like that. That would drive me nuts even if it doesn't affect the performance
Agreed. The stress cracks would kill the eye candy to me.
The cracks are from over excursion. Don't abuse them and it won't happen.
@@NorthFloridaAirGunnerThey should have anodized them instead. If they had, this wouldn't happen at all.
Bruhhhh😂 lil John is that you (whatttttt!!!?)
The candies were some of the first subs I really wanted when I was getting into car audio. They're visually nice as well as pretty beefy 👍🔊
Would look good in someone's show car build.
Aluminum cones have been around a while. ECLIPSE made some awesome subs in the 90's and 2000's. They hit hard and very punchy, but you need good grills to keep from damaging the cones.
The intro was gold!! Keep doing funny intros please!!! My family laughed!!
😂😂😂 the skit was hilarious. Parker has always super great review. I think audio pipe is slept on a lot. They are a great budget company. Thanks for the review. It always bring us new products.
I just tried my first audiopipe today . Neighbors threw it and a perfect box away after inspection only problem was a lose connection. I am not disappointed for sure. 👍
I had 3 audio pipe 15s in a refrigerator sized box back when i was a kid. Had it in the back of a van. It was fun to build the box with my pops n test it. Ordered em off ebay. Man i miss them times. Never forget how excited i was to order subs online n when they showed up man.. good times. Then i joined realm of excursion forum and got some real subs and amp. Back then i started with a planet audio fu 12i still have with a ample audio a1100dx made a vented box loved it in the acura integra. Then put 4 12a re audio the entry series n so on. Good times
I love the colour on it, reminds me of my first sub an 8 inch roadmaster rsw80
Dude that was the first sub I got too! That's awesome 😂
That was impressive for audio pipe subs. I ran 4 12s in a Honda hatch on a crescendo 5500 at half ohm and it was super loud
I've had mine 14 years now.... still working
Parker I still have and running AUDIOPIPE APCLE 1800.1 thanks for the videos continued success always bro 💪
Miss my APCLE!!
I have the same way before parker had a driver’s license
Good unbiased review 🦾🦾
I've ran Audiopipe subs for quite a while and actually had a pair of the Eye Candy (grey) 12's and they were awesome. I eventually stepped up to BDC3 12's and they were cool until the coils failed by turning into slinkys... Upgraded to the BDC4 12's and they were cool until they suffered the same fate... of slinky coils... Switched to an American Bass HD-18 and that thing was a beast until I sold it and got my 1st pair of Deaf Bonce SA272 15's then shortly after that snagged a pair or 3012r's and they have been the absolute best subs I've ever owned and take everything I've thrown at them. Audiopipe makes great subs but they really need to consider using better voice coils for longer lasting performance. I won't take a chance on them again until they do. For now, it's Deaf Bonce for the win!
How much power were you running to the bdc4s? I’m clamping right around that 1100 on mine and it doesn’t even smell
@@scottbe1 I mines on a APDLO-20001D each at 1ohm (Gain Matched with a DD1) on excellent electrical.
The problem with their subs is that once the coils get hot the glue melts and makes them slinky.
My 3012r's are in the same trunk on 2 5k's at 1ohm and they don't smell, get hot or anything. Trust me I wanted to believe it was something with my setup because I was a diehard Audiopipe fan (still a fan just not diehard) but their subs just can't take prolonged abuse like these Deaf Bonce 3012r's.
@@KvnWlsn My guess is that they audiopipe rates them right at rms or I got a good sub. No issues with mine so far
@@scottbe1 they can take more than rated but once they get hot they need to cool off before taking more punishment. I don't compete but I do bang daily and this system was daily driven and banged. I just needed something that could take more of a constant beating. But if they get better coils that handle more thermal temps they will be great!
@@KvnWlsn I gotcha. I also daily bang and compete as well so I don’t take it easy on it. Idk maybe I just got a well built sub
Good content my man
Reminds me of the eclipse titanium and aluminum I loved those subs
I was thinking about the Infinity titanium 1200w subs my little brother had two of them in a 85 escort diesal with two MTX 250 cheater amps bridged down with two big dry cell deep cycle batteries every panel on that car had little stress cracks starting to rust when he was done with it the best thing about that diesal escort was it took dual batteries and they both mounted in the back above the rear fender wells you only needed 8 foot of power and ground wire for both amps
Same basket as bdc4 I really like the surround on this much better
My son had two bd4 10” audiopipe subs in a 350z and good lord they hit soo stupid hard on that car.
Audiopipe is my fav.
The intro is brilliant 😂😂
I miss the old black and white Ipipes I would love to find some more!!
Never been a fan of Audiopipe but these look really nice.
I bought a 12” vxf ran it for a couple months and one day I started hearing a weird sound so I decided to buy the CT Sounds Meso 12 and when I went to install it I realized that a pair of my safety glasses fell into my port and that was the noise I was hearing and the vxf was fine so I jump back and forth for a few months testing each and ended up liking the Meso best because the bass was tighter. But yes I would love to see a comparison of top tier Skar and CT Sounds subs on over 3000 watts
My brother has been running the og eye candy's 🍬 for over a decade them things still pounding the ish out his vehicle today. They surprise a lot of people
He great looking set up
Dude your such a goober 😂😂! Love the review as always.
I actually owned a pair of red Eye Candy subs about 14 years ago. Had them in the trunk of my Daewoo. They were running on an old Kole Audio amp that had an extremely weird shape (caps on the front) and it pounded for what it was.
They look great
I like how double input, you don't have to buy an adapter for the wire if you want to run the rated you don't have to double the wire together, I wish everyone else followed suit
Little J, the teeth really made the character😂😂😂
Nice to see audiopipe content. Disappointing about the finish not holding up but good performance. I’ve had a dinosaur audiopipe 1800 amp floating around my builds for 10+ years and it’s still a beast, versus my Stetsom BRAVO 2000 that became problematic after a year.
Very nice for what they are
I had some blue eye candy subs like 15 plus yrs ago had a single 15 in a ford probe on a ppi art 600.2 the old white one with the planets on it shit beat hard as hell
Wow that was impressive
That Big Jeff segment😂😂😂😂😂 he deff stuck in that lil John Era lol. Those subs kinda look like some old Visoniks I had in early 2000's 🤷♂️
Nice they reminded me of the volfenhag subs, remember those?
I remember Infinity’s Kappa Perfect subs with the white Aluminum cone, those were very efficient too.
Yeah, 96 db for a sub is very efficient
That's a nice looking sub but that smoking could be a problem. Was crazy to smoke that long though without blowing. BASS on
Lil Jeff from temu!!!!!!!!!parker crazy as hell, my boy
I had a pair of blue ones. 12s. Great subs, but cutouts smaller than usual, which can be problematic with prefab boxes.
I got a audiopipe bd4-15 dual wired to 1 ohm on a skar 2k. 250 amp singer alt, big 3 and extra battery in back of my 1999 Hyundai tiburon. Beast sub very good quality sub.
Had me laughing my ass off with that big Jeff skit
Haha thanks man!!
Can’t believe they took 8k watts.
Very nice performance
I wish they made this new sub also have a big quad stack motor as well as the bdc4 that aluminum cone I bet sounds great this model sub has quite a bit more cone area since there's no super mega roll in the way.
Yeah I do with this sub had a bigger motor
They just came out with a 5 stack sub 1200 watts RMS and a 3 stack SPL sub the txx-BDX 1500watts RMS the techs at audiopipe sent me the info I sent it to parker. Hoping that he will make a review they will be available this year.
Aluminum cone ftw. I love me some aluminum cones.
dam thats crazy i might do 6x15s quad stack audiopipes maybe
Slow burn! Instead of completely burning out the coil it heats the glue up and will make it rub, until it eventually unravels and freezes in the gap. I would love to see you recone these!!!!!!!!!!!
That Alphard Audio ad is awesome. Love that break beat. ❤
Wonder if ap is going to make triple or quad stack eyecandys? They are sweet looking subs 100%
Around the paper cone with the same same material that you use for ballons just would like to try it
😂 damn you know whats crazy i still have my blue audio pipe 12's since 2009 and they still hit hard
Those things been around 4 a while outstanding sound in a sealed box. They were called eye candies came in 4 different colors red, blue, white,n green
Remind me of volfenhag German concept subs I had 15 years ago
Nice sub
Aluminum cones are making a big comeback, I'd actually prefer if a majority of sub companies started producing these. They don't blow apart under pressure like how they destroy themselves in Carlos Rodriguez' van Delilah at 179 db and the aluminum acts as an extra heat sink to wick excess heat off the voice coil.
big fan bro
Audio Pimp 🎉👍😁😎🤣
Nice
Funny Shite Parker !! - Keep it up
Yo parker can you show us some of your headunit and amp tuning tips
Reminds me of the old Alumapro from way back in 90's.
Would be so fun to see you test GAS AUDIO Max S1/S2, but iguess you guys dont have them in your country.
I have bdc4d215 on a audio pipe 1500d @ 1 ohm sounds incredible would love to have a 2500 watt amp though but what i have is very impressive for what it is!!!
the infinity kappa perfects back in the day were built similar to these but they were only sold in a single color gray they also had a real bass sound to them to . they were popular for some time they were also kind of pricey. bass on booooom
The sensitivity on this sub is 96 this sub will bang so hard on a nice 1500 rms
With such a high sensitivity... it should play very, very well on 500-700 watts.
Reminds me kinda of retro subwoofer
I had the older candy red 15s. They were pretty loud
LIL JAY in da house❗🤣
What do u do with the empty baskets from the subs
Reminds me of the old Sony Explode subwoofers
Yessir!!
They have a plastic cone it reminds me of the old ap's with better hard parts
Hey parker, what is your favorite size sub? Brand, series doesnt matter. Just wondering what size is your favorite. I love your videos man, ive learned so much from them. I love american bass thanks to you. My xfl 15s keep pounding and annoying older people here in Asheville, North Carolina. Haha! Xfl 15s are my favorite budget sub by far
Believe it or not aluminum cones are best for SQ. They are very light weight making them very responsive. With that said the stress marks in the paint showed resonance in the cone. Can't really expect much at this price point. So probably best to drive it with less than rated RMS power.
can you look at the TXXBDC 15" model please, kind of on the expensive side but you get two of em for 140 150 ish
I prefer the older style over the flashy color. The weaved looked plus fat surround do it for me.
Yeah man I love to cones on the BDC models!
The aluminum cone will help with cooling and best of all sq.
I've heard Audio Pipe bump really good for the price. That was a years ago tho.
so the brought back the old school eye candy subs aka the blood or crip subs lol i use to have a single 12 that got loud and loved it but 175 is a bit high for the and the cracking was an issue back when they first came out back in the day two the cone flex cause the paint to crack and chip away over time
Appears to want a 4th order bandpass
Dat aluminum cone would be great one to have finished with balloons
sick
Looks to me there are coping volfenhag subwoofer from back in the day. Over time they sounded bad . The cone had a tinging sound
Audiopipe had eye candy subs years ago. This is just a new revision of them.
Audiopipe had eye candy over a decade ago ago just brung them back
volfenhag came out way before them
@@frederickcrossley8303 Thilo (Tc Sounds) was designing and building subs with aluminum cones before that. His brand (Tc Sounds, AudioPulse, Lightning Audio Storm) and others like Eclipse and so forth, all built and designed by him.
I understand but the volfenhag looks just like the eye candy but crap . I could be wrong about the years they were made.
I knew having a big 3 inch coil it would take the power
Can you do a review on a alpine bassline swa-4 10 i want to know how much power it can take
U should do top of the line ct sounds vs top of the line skar subs that would be fun to watch👍👍
Hmmm good idea!
@@ParkerTheBassheadI second that request for you to review some more CT sounds stuff 👍
I've been running their 1800 amp for a bit and really like it. I'm hoping to get stratos and meso mids and highs and would like to know your thoughts on them.
Thanks for the videos, I value your opinion 🔊🔊
Parker bro, please since u r sponsored and tight with Alphard audio can u please review the avatar SVL 15? Or even the 12. I'm trying hard to find out if the cost difference over the Stu is worth it
Do a comparison with the Toro Fierce 🤞
There loud for the price. COOL JUST WISH THEY CAME IN AN 18"
see this what im torn on, cant decide on sa252 or the fi alpha series 12s would like to run 2 cab22s but got told the alpha series cant handle it
I would guess the "cracks" are the anodized oxide coating cracking due to the difference in thermal expansion between the aluminum cone and the coating. Any flex of the cone is just making it worse.
😂😂😂 Love it!
