Sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost my account password. I would love any assistance you can give me.
Glad to hear it! I had a hard time finding and answer to this question, so I'm happy to share it. I've actually had very good results with traffic on my shorts videos. About 95% of the views are from the shorts format. So it's working. For sure
Glad to hear it! Just get them going, once every day or every other day, and you will get traffic. I'm seeing a lot of the views on my shorts videos being from shorts format. Around 95%.
Super helpful, especially for creators like me who specialize in our own thing, but not in the tech side of content creation! I really appreciate the help!
Same here, I love iMovie because it's simple enough for me to understand it 😜With your tips nothing will go wrong. Starting my first ever #shorts, I'm so nervous!!!
Good luck TotoTV! I'm surprised at how quickly my #shorts videos are getting views. More than 95% of the views are from Shorts. You can see those details in your analytics for each video. It's exciting, please keep the videos coming and just get the content out there.
Wow! You are one inspiring guy! I was determined to create my first short before I went to bed. DID IT! Thanks for making it so clear. I had to go back a couple of times where I missed steps. Easy to retrace and finally upload (second time got it right). I've shared your video. And subscribed. I am experimenting with a soft static image and poetic/inspirational message.
Really glad it's helpful, I had a hard time finding an answer to this question too. Good luck with your shorts, I've actually had very good success so far with making shorts. Just get one out everyday or every other day, as much as possible. About 95% of the traffic's on my videos are from the shorts format, so it's working for sure. It's a great way to get views and subscribers quick.
So that's helpful, incredible. Just keep posting shorts and they will stick. It's amazing that UA-cam is just handing out views for these kinds of videos right now, since there are not many shorts available on the shelf.
Thank you thank you, this was so helpful! I've put up about 4 shorts on my channel and they've been all wrong, so now I know how to do it the correct way using iMovie, whoop whoop!
Thank you so much for this helpful video!! I failed to upload many UA-cam shorts but after seeing this video, UA-cam's algorithm finally recognized the video as a short. YOU'RE THE BEST!! I'm so happy that the short worked 💕
This video helped me a ton!!! Before I knew about that flipping trick I had to take the video through windows movie maker and that made the audio TERRIBLE! Thank you!
Glad to hear, thanks for your message. Shorts are very great way to get subscribers and to get views quickly. I encourage you to keep making them, even once a day or every other day. They're already seeing much more views than regular videos.
Thank you so much. You are right when you say that shorts are popular. My short video has gotten over 8k views in 3 hours, tysm for this help no need to make these on my phone anymore.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for your comment, I recommend posting frequently as much as possible, once a day or every other day. I've been saying a spike in views on shorts over regular videos.
Thank you for this two for one video! My #shorts video is finally formatted right and I now know how to add text that is 100% better than the options available in iMovie.
You can actually see how effective shorts are in analytics. Under sources, you will see Shorts as a source. I've found that around 70% of the views are from the Shorts shelf. Pretty cool opportunity here.
This was a really helpful video!!! Thank you for sharing this clear tutorial!!! I learned a lot!!!!I didn’t know that I have to adjust the video to 9:16 ratio . I just made vertical video and uploaded!!
Good evening, may I ask you one more question? I posted a #shorts last night but still can't see any traffic from shorts. May I know how long it takes for you to see the traffic from shorts? Thank you :)
Some of my videos take two or three days to get a few hundred views. It depends on the search title of the video. If it's something that people are searching for, you will get views. If you want me to check it out, you can send it to me.
@@BikeGrowRich thank you so much if you dont mind. I decide to paste your video link whenever I see someone asking how to make a shorta with imovie. My link is this but I dont see any traffic from #shorts ua-cam.com/video/MVL68pjSYCw/v-deo.html Is it because people using the language I use dont watch shorts?
I think it's helpful to realize that UA-cam is just getting started with shorts, so they are testing different things in different languages and in different countries. it might be the case that some languages don't get as much traffic as others. I have seen that most of the views from my short videos are from America. I would try posting the title in English and Mandarin, just to see the reaction. But, I also recommend just having faith that UA-cam will eventually push UA-cam shorts in all languages and countries, so it's good to be ready for when that comes with around 20 to 30 short videos.
Hey, the thumbnail should be regular horizontal dimensions. The thumbnail actually does not matter much with Shorts (when on the shorts shelf). It only matters when the viewer finds your video via search or via suggested videos.
This is super useful. I tried my first short upload using my iphone and didn't like the result. I prefer imovie to edit and then upload. Thanks for your help.
I flipped it before exporting from iMovie, saved it to my desktop, rotated right, hit x to export as file name and the video on my desktop doesn’t flip once saved?
I tried following what you have. I used video from canva and resize it to fit 1080 X 1920. Then in imovie imported this and included a music track just about 51s. I followed the same process and in the final file tried to check with the command i, but could not find the indication of the size as 1080 X 1920. And when I upload to youtube, it looked the same as earlier with the two black spaces left and right, instead of white. So what happened, is it that you cant include music track, as I could not find the properties as 1080 X 1920. Let me know if I am doing something incorrect. tks
Hi, thanks for the question. Did you do the whole process of flipping it within iMovie and then exporting it, and then flipping it back to the vertical format? The reason I ask is because if you just export it as is without flipping it, then it will be exported in the horizontal format.
