If you just started a channel: Don't be discouraged by the initial challenges or slow growth. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is a successful UA-cam channel. Stay consistent, keep honing your craft, and believe in your idea - because with dedication and perseverance, you have the power to achieve greatness. Keep going, Champ!

I haven't watched any content creation type videos in months but I've been wanting to get into YT Shorts recently so I needed to be educated. You were the first person to pop in my head to teach me! Thought I'd let you know that whatever you're doing is definitely working as your name is now synonymous with creator help at least in my brain! 😀

Being a UA-camr is very similar to running a business. You should upload thing people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. When the growth is real, you should consider hiring people with different skills (editors, script writers...) and continue to maintain a channel image that your viewers have in mind when they see your video. The most difficult part is starting and I have to say that if I hadn't found out about Famester, I would probably not be able to write this comment today.

The first ish tip: I ended up posting every day or every other day and quickly ran out of content to post. 😁. So maybe adjust it to what works for you. But the main point is to keep a routine. (Example:if you don’t want to post every day, or aren’t able to, shoot for every Saturday.)

I have been a history and geography nerd since school, and I always thought my knowledge is of no practical use.
Thanks to youtube and AI, I have found an outlet to express and share my learnings. It becomes a bit difficult to mass produce on the scale of 1 short per day for something that requires study, especially when you have a day job. But here I am taking baby steps, hoping that over the next few years I shall be able to build a community of likeminded humans.
Here’s to everyone brave enough to take the first step of creating a channel, may we all succeed !

Hey Shannon! Just to preface, I am still new to the UA-cam space and am definitely still in the R&D part of my UA-cam career.
Anyway, I hope you don't mind, but I did a quick look at your channel and I noticed your videos have good quality, but they aren't getting the traction I feel you deserve. You may want to try something like VidIQ or some other software to help you increase your SEO. I didn't see a lot of tags or keywords in your description that I think could help you get noticed by the algorithm. Also, I'm not getting paid to say this. This is just me being friendly with other channels so I can learn from this space with you guys! Stay blessed!

Liz and I are planning some longform videos this summer for UA-cam. In the meantime, all of our shorts are done without any talking. I basically show people how to cook something and then share the ingredients in the description. Do you think I’m losing out a lot on viewership or engagement by not speaking? I got over 3 Million Views, hundred of thousands Likes/Shares/Comments and by the end of tonight, over 10k Subscribers off of ONE VIDEO. By the way the video didn't just go viral, it is still trending. So thank you @MilliAndrian for this video. Keep posting everyone and just like I heard people say all the time
" You never know that your next video could go viral." I am not special, so if it happened to me it can happened to you. Good luck to you all.

Thank You Millie….I Just Posted My First Video 5 Or 6 Days Ago….But What’s More My Journey started when I picked up a notebook a few weeks ago and wrote down almost everything you said about ticktock….I Was Intimidated by UA-cam at that point ….Untill I Realized My Content is best for UA-cam….Long Story Short This Bideo Just Came In Clutch With That Emoji Idea….My Video Is A First Time Attempt For Sure…I’m Holding The Camera Myself….I Had Just Wrote The Script….I Honestly Feel Like You Helped Me Clean Up My Video UA-cam ….Even Though I Know It’s Full Of Imperfections….Thank You Again….And I Downloaded Your Book By The Way….Please Wish Me Luck….And Thank You For Your Content!!
