1. throw **** at the wall 2. the first 30--40 characters are the most important 3. put your call to action in the pinned comments of your video 4. use emojis in your title 5. desktop is key 6. you can only select a thumbnail for your shorts via phone 7. using google trends to discover what is trending on youtube 8. maintain the audience's viewer retention 9. make sure they watch until the end 10. adapting to trends 11. educate yourself
No way, I was searching info about youtube shorts and here is one of my old friends talking about it on one of the most viewed videos haha Miss you Camille! Thanks for the tips
I haven't watched any content creation type videos in months but I've been wanting to get into YT Shorts recently so I needed to be educated. You were the first person to pop in my head to teach me! Thought I'd let you know that whatever you're doing is definitely working as your name is now synonymous with creator help at least in my brain! 😀
*These UA-cam Shorts hacks are pure gold!* 🤯🤯 It's fantastic to see you sharing these proven tips and tricks to unlock rapid growth for our channels. Short-form content is a game-changer for sure, and your insights on how to optimize it for success are incredibly valuable. We'll be implementing these hacks right away. Thanks for the knowledge boost! 😎🙏
If you just started a channel: Don't be discouraged by the initial challenges or slow growth. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is a successful UA-cam channel. Stay consistent, keep honing your craft, and believe in your idea - because with dedication and perseverance, you have the power to achieve greatness. Keep going, Champ!
I’ve been trying to grow my channel for about a year now and it’s hard butttt creating short content has been very helpful. Stay consistent! I’m not where I want to be but I’m definitely growing. 💕 Thanks for the helpful tips🤗
Being a UA-camr is very similar to running a business. You should upload thing people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. When the growth is real, you should consider hiring people with different skills (editors, script writers...) and continue to maintain a channel image that your viewers have in mind when they see your video. The most difficult part is starting and I have to say that if I hadn't found out about Famester, I would probably not be able to write this comment today.
A quick tip- you can edit even after the video is uploaded on the phone thru the UA-cam creator studio app., it’s super easy to use.. like add hashtags description etc.
As a 7 years youtube creator, I must say this is a pure gold. I've learned so many things today. Thank you so much for this insight 🙂Btw giving a free course as way of building mailing list is also a brilliant idea🙂
There’s never been a time where I watched one of your videos and didn’t leave with a major takeaway. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!
Ok, Millie! Just listened to your podcast with Think Media and I had to stop by to say YOU ARE KILLING IT 🙌🙌🙌 Also, I always learn something new when I watch your vids. Thank you for continuously helping grow my channel!
I have watched so many garbage videos and when I seen your thumbnail for this video I thought here we go again, more pointless nonsense. Well I could not have been more wrong. Your video is brilliant! You delivered so much information in such a professional way and your tips were realistic. Thanks for the video and all the effort you put in to make this. It's very professionally edited too. I learned a lot and that's what makes it valuable. Stay genuine. 🙂
I have been a history and geography nerd since school, and I always thought my knowledge is of no practical use. Thanks to youtube and AI, I have found an outlet to express and share my learnings. It becomes a bit difficult to mass produce on the scale of 1 short per day for something that requires study, especially when you have a day job. But here I am taking baby steps, hoping that over the next few years I shall be able to build a community of likeminded humans. Here’s to everyone brave enough to take the first step of creating a channel, may we all succeed !
That's amazing! Your dedication is inspiring, and building a community around your passion for history and geography sounds fantastic. Keep pushing forward-each step is progress, and who knows how impactful your channel will become over time.
Just a quick note if you only have a phone, if you upload and keep it private and then go into the UA-cam creator app you can then carry on the upload being able to choose tags/categories etc 😊
The first ish tip: I ended up posting every day or every other day and quickly ran out of content to post. 😁. So maybe adjust it to what works for you. But the main point is to keep a routine. (Example:if you don’t want to post every day, or aren’t able to, shoot for every Saturday.)
I just started my first channel and I’m trying to grow it using shorts only. I still have a lot to learn and I understand it will be a long process. So thank you for the great tips!
Omg this was so helpful especially with the google trends part…throughout my time of research on UA-cam shorts no one ever talked about that. It really does help knowing what’s on the trend. Thank you💙
Hey Shannon! Just to preface, I am still new to the UA-cam space and am definitely still in the R&D part of my UA-cam career. Anyway, I hope you don't mind, but I did a quick look at your channel and I noticed your videos have good quality, but they aren't getting the traction I feel you deserve. You may want to try something like VidIQ or some other software to help you increase your SEO. I didn't see a lot of tags or keywords in your description that I think could help you get noticed by the algorithm. Also, I'm not getting paid to say this. This is just me being friendly with other channels so I can learn from this space with you guys! Stay blessed!
Thankyou Millie, as having an art channel and being a newbie... this video did help me understand where i am lacking and what i have to improve and i will remember your tips 😄
Wow, the amount of research and thought put into this is incredible! You've tackled a complex topic in a way that's both informative and engaging. This is a valuable resource for anyone looking to be the badass in this digital world

This video popped up on my feed and I clicked on it out of curiosity as I did not know your channel. I am glad I clicked. This video deserves millions of views. Great job!
GREAT TIPS! I do some of these already and absolutely agree that they help to expand your reach. I'm going to try incorporating some others you mentioned. Thank you!

These tips are GREAT, Millie! Thank you! My question is how do you find your drafts on the desktop? I added drafts on my phone and can’t find them on the desktop version. My content is still empty.
Hi Millie! Thanks for posting this! I really appreciate the straight forward and concise information given on your tips! I’ve been posting shorts for over 30 days now and barely getting 2-3 views 😩 I’ll be utilizing your Tips of 2, 3, 4 and 6! So hopefully I’ll be able to see some changes! Keep up the great work!
