"She started doing pageants at 3 months old! Did you even breastfeed this child?" This woman speaks to my soul.
Sara Jay so creepy I just read this, and heard it the same time
Kind of a dumb statement though because plenty of women are able to continue on with things while breastfeeding. Baby could pagaent and feed lol
@@sunflowerrayne6026 I interpreted that different. Yes, it's physically possible to breastfeed and put your baby in pageants, but I'm doubtful it occurred. It's the idea of parading your infant around rather than just focusing on her needs. No baby wants to do pagaents, but every baby wants to breastfeed. It's a difference of values and parenting philosophy.
@@saje239 These kiddies pageants should be considered child abuse
I’m guessing the saying “fed is best” doesn’t work for her lol
She was gone backslap him for disrespecting his mother with his "better than our old mom" comment.... that's real, y'all.
His mom is probably a nightmare so let's not condemn him too soon..
That, for me, is a perfect summary for the problem a lot of African families. You ask a child for their opinion and when they are honest, you punish them. Only teaches children not to be honest. That is why child abuse is also so rampant.
@@nbucwa6621 he was disrespecting his mom for no reason, he saw that woman for 2 min and already said she's better than his mom. Ok beating ain't great but that kid is disrespectful
Elsefine yet again it’s his own opinion which he is allowed to have because he is a human being. He didn’t disrespect anyone he stated his opinion which she herself asked

Lmaoooooooo
The Nigerian woman is a queen. Her outfit, her manners, the way she talks and carries herself. Everything is awesome!
She is.
Anika A yeah, while her son is being trained as a racist.
Gina Kyriakopoulos he’s not racist he’s 5. I didn’t know simply acknowledging someone had a different skin tone was racist.
jazion simms disagreed. When the white mom asked “you got a problem with that?” The kid nodded yes.
I feel both the mothers are terribly flawed, the nigerians not teaching to look at other races equally with love and respect (kids at that age do what they observe from their parents) and the white kids are just blatantly disrespectful regardless of race or gender.
Crab legs you also have to realize that he’s a small child who likely is not used to being around people not like him. It’s totally normal reaction. I’ve had little white kids be scared of me because I was not familiar them. You can’t automatically blamed the parent when you don’t know what that child has experienced this is a preview not their whole life
“Fight who? Each other?” 🤣🤣
Hopefully they use boxing gloves

“i thought u we’re our colour” omg,, bless him 😂😂😭.
Right?? Some people may think that's a bad attitude that's been instilled in him. But considering their culture, they might spend most of their time around people of similar cultures. So it's not so much "mean white lady" more "this is strange, she looks strange, I'm not used to this ".
Ik he’s only 5 it’s confusing plus the father even told him not to be rude
@Salty Granny Totally, if it was the other way around this comment section would look totally different. "Omg that kid's a total racist!"

"Bowing is too much" lol you people realize it's a cultural thing, let them be. Japan does a similar thing and so does India. The world doesnt work about your culture or customs only, grow up and respect.
Yesssss...I agreed the other mom probably never been outside the country, that's they culture respect it.
Not a UA-cam Channel in my country we get on our knees, elbows and our palms together at the feet of elders and teachers to show respect. I don’t see anything wrong with it
Chapa Dissanayake I personally would not do that, it feels to me like you’re placing that person on a higher level than yourself, but if that’s your culture, good for you! You get to make your own decisions, and I’ll make mine.
@@Chapa24. are you sri lankan? I do the same!
Yes, it is only natural that they bowed to their superior

She's been married 4 times and him 2. Yeah, you can obviously tell they're going to last. 🙄
Says they got separated the end of the episode.
Blues Dogma you serious?
Yeah that couple should be in counseling because she's too busy chasing after the affection of a man and he has no idea on how to be the head of a household. Yes they separated but sadly I think they'll just both move on to new relationships doing the same and the kids will continue to suffer. Such great children I hope they get it together.
@@Bluesdogma Lol, she's going to work on her 5th conquest now.
Maybe she should have learn how to cook and be a wife and mother.
Are we SURE that Nigerian woman isn’t actual royalty?? Like are we SURE SURE?
She isn’t. She’s just Yoruba. Nigerian parents always know how to carry themselves
This is an average Yoruba mother right there.
I thought bowing was a beautiful way of showing respect. I’d be so honoured if someone bowed to greet me
Trish it is different cultures! obviously the white mom isnt used to that and is interpreting it from an americentric perspective
Same cuz I would do it back
Same I'd be so honored I'd be like wow thank you like people bowing to me seems so respectful

Lmao yea they do, being that strict and having your children BOW to you is ridiculous. Respect and fear are not the same thing, you can’t control someone no matter how hard your try, it’s still gonna cause strife

Failing Student I know. He’s not used to having a white mom. I’d be weirded out if I was 5 and some Nigerian lady came to my home because when I was that young I didn’t have a lot of experience with black people. Also if someone is going to be my mom for a week I want her to resemble my mom
Belsnickel I totally respect that:). But I think that's just the point of the show just to put two completely different families together whether it be religion, race, culture, etc. I mean you can't really learn much from a white girl cause we don't really have culture but I only said that cause I thought it was funny. Don't feel bad for thinking that. If I was a child I'd be confused too. But you never know it's kind of beautiful to learn things at a young age. The younger you learn about other cultures the more you respect it. 💖✨
“Kids are honest” *cue to her kid saying better than our old mom* ... that’s all 😂
Lol
That Nigerian family is absolutely beautiful and I love how respectful Nikki was of their culture, and gave it a chance while having it explained to her.
Your beautiful also! I'd be honored to kneel before you! 💞
The little boy was adorable "I thought you were our color!" I can see this being taken way out of proportion if the colors were the other way around. It was completely innocent, I'm sure when he was expecting a new mom he was expecting something familiar. Maybe he isn't used to white people. I didn't really meet any white kids until I hit middle school so before then I was just used to playing with kids my color. I didn't expect it. :)
Edit: For people who say that role reversal isn't important, it is. To sit there and pretend that there wouldn't be an outrage if a white child said the same thing is ridiculous and selective in what is permissable and what is not. And this comes from a Hispanic/Black Woman. And I'm not necessarily trying to explain the boys behavior to excuse it, but to give you an insight into why he might be surprised. Some of us don't have the pleasure of interacting with different races until we leave our area of origin.
No it would be the same
If the little boy saying that was white there would be so many comments about the inherent racism of the white male from birth 😂
Let's not play.
Cute kid though.
@@Wombedful I completely agree lol that's why I said if the colors were the other way around it would be taken out of proportion :P the boy looked so sad lol.

God, the American family is just embarrassing. Growing up in Texas this was the norm, and it's shameful. Whatever happened to manners and responsibilities?
They're both American families or that's what I thought?
Death Mainiac it seems like the Nigerian kids are the 1st generation raised in America. So of course the parents are instilling some traditions from back home as well
@@adsmith0423 yh I'm aware of that too. I mean that both families are american from different states. I thought the OP meant that the nigerian American family and the texas family weren't from the same country if that makes sense

The white lady ain't even with this man no more and the little boys ain't even her kids😂😂😂
“We don’t let them out after dark.”
Woman: “Why?”
Me: Because if you haven’t noticed in the real modern world; there are predators and other monsters. Trying to kill or harm people including your children!
That’s why.
I wish we lived in an age where we could walk outside at night without having to fear for our lives
Idk where that first lady lives but in a lot of places being out after dark really isn't a danger at all
And sheltering then isn't doing any favors.
Otaku AnimeWorld Exactly! But sadly that time has past for a long time.
Jesse Ling True. I think there should be a balance. But some people it’s a extreme to the other.
Lil bro really said “I thought you where our color” I-😭
Lol little Daniel said “ I thought you were going to be our color”! This child 🤦🏾♀️🤣
"Wow, they really are from Nigeria" you don't say
"Better than my own mom"
Damn, kid.
Dang I wanna see the whole thing😢😳
@@LMmccallL57 thank you💖
"We don't like our children to stay out after dark...why?" Oh boy
When Daniel said I thought you be my color I just started to laugh 😂
Does anyone familiar with Nigerian culture know why the boys fully lied down, while the girls just kneeled? I know it has to do with gender, but I'd love to hear the full reasoning.
there's no reason, it's just a different posture for males and females same way there are gender designated bathrooms
@@pawo6088 oh interesting. So like how in some Western societies men bow and women curtsie?
@@kylovesart yes
@@pawo6088 thanks!!
Its just a thing idk too but the woman always bow while the men always full on lay out
That Nigerian family is beautiful and I love seeing those traditional, colorful prints
“We’re not fighting.... cause I’ll
Win”
Amen.
I like how they have a tablet for introducing the family now instead of a thick book that only has 2 pages filled. Wife swap got upgraded 😔✊🏻
"We love to fight? Fight who?"
This changed my life. Gonna internalize this energy when I get married.
0:56 “Game in a child’s room, that’s a no-no.”
As the child of an African mom, that’s how I was raised and I’m so grateful!
Id rather have my brother play his games in his own room than in the living room. but then again i dont live in a big house
I am living for my Nigerian mama's DRIP! absolutely classy and beautiful 💖
She started doing pageants at three months old
No honey YOU made her do them!
"backslapping that child." 😂😂😂 I feel you, Aunty.
Daniel just miss his mom
Talkindurinthemovie her**
Yeah. I wouldnt be suprised if he doesnt have a lot of interaction with white woman either. It was an unfarmilliar situation.
