I am Australian and I was living in Texas. My wife said, you know, you look a lot like my neurologist. So I decided to see. She was in with her doctor and I came in about 15 minutes later. As I walked through the hospital staff and nurses were say good morning doctor, or, hello doctor have a great day....etc etc. so I got into it a bit. I would say hello to everyone. Finally , I got to the waiting room, where my wife was waiting. She had told her doctor about me, and as he walked around the corner, it was like looking in a mirror. Not only were we identical, but we even had the same beards with the identical cut. We just stood there a few feet apart staring at each other. He then said "It appears that some of my relatives moved from Italy to Australia"......we were both amazed.
I saw my doppelganger getting of a train at Liverpool Street Station ( London ) when I was about 18. He noticed me and said "bloody hell mate, you're Me!" 😲 we both laughed and went on our way. 😄
I saw my brother's Doppelganger at a Grocery store.he's been dead for 5 years.I had to talk to him. He said he had been stopped many times over the years and people calling him John. I had photos of my brother on my iPhone, and he absolutely freaked out. We instantly became best friends and have been for many years.
Are they the same age? I’m curious if you were surprised to see a younger or older version of your brother. It’s great that his doppelgänger turned out to be a good guy-he might look like your brother, but there’s always the chance his personality could have been completely different and off-putting.
my husband and I moved to a new village last year, and a guy from the neighborhood befriended my husband. Soon enough, the guy said his wife looked exactly like me. I took it as a compliment, until he brought her one day and me and her looked so alike that I couldn't stop smiling. We started conversing from the moment she entered the door until she left later that night. It was like we were long lost friends! Even more amazing, her and I have a lot of the same mannerisms. We are good friends now.
I have a doppelganger out there somewhere. A co-worker kept staring at me and seemed to be scared out of his wits. After about 5 interactions like this with him he finally asked my name. I told him and he explained to me I looked just like his ex wife who was a psychopath and stalker and he has had to go incognito and move from state to state to avoid her.😱 Bless this poor man's heart!!! I tried to avoid him seeing me because I didn't want to be his walking nighmare.
Brandy Gipson 🙄the website is bull I think they give you matches but at least for the girl they all got filters on their face so how do you know how they actually look, plus I think you have to pay for more matches
@@brandygipson1675 I did not work for me, they gave me pages and pages of matches all with different percentages of match variations. The closest was supposed to be 87% and I did not find that she matched me. I looked up until page 5 which was still at 64% and I found nothing.
I found my doppelgänger on the news one day. They showed a wedding photo and I saw myself near the bride. I started researching and found the picture. I showed it to my grandson and said do you know who that is? He said , yes it’s you grandma.
I’ve know one pair of doppelgängers who’s parents are doppelgängers as well it’s so bizarre. But then the other set of doppelgängers I’ve seen parents are complete opposites of each other
I was in the airport and a sweet grandmother turned and got so excited when she saw me. “I thought you couldn’t come!” And she gave me big hug, I hugged her and assumed she was suffering with dementia- until her middle age daughter turned around. When I explained my name and I wasn’t who she thought, the mother screamed and dropped her bag. Even she couldn’t believe she didn’t know I wasn’t her kid, they were talking so fast! Then “my brother” turned around and “Mom! What are you freaking out about?!” She pointed at me and said she’s exactly your sister!” He rolled his eyes and looked at me, and froze. The three just stood there getting inches from my face.😂 Then the father and grandfather came up and joined the chaos, it was unreal. They were so very nice, lots of hugs and Grammy kisses.😂 They took a photo of us together and went on their way.
I can so relate to your story! At an airport lobby, a guy near my age walked up and started talking, and calling me by a name not mine... We got chatting, and it seemed I looked exactly like his friend from high school days just past. He said this was in Alaska, and I told him I've never been north of Oregon.
@100% Real Woman 4 The Throw the Bum Out Party! the original 1 has gone blonde and hair shorter i wonder if she did that specially or just for a change
My best friend died of cancer at 29. Her ex-boyfriend married a woman that looked like her twin (I guess he has a type). What's crazy is that before they got married and my bf was still alive, his wife said strangers kept coming up to her and calling her by my best friend's name. When she came to my best friend's funeral people were telling her they were sorry for her lost because they assumed she must be my best friend's twin sister. We eventually became friends and our daughters are best friends.
That is strange, but I also find it odd that she was at your best friend’s funeral? From your story, I guess I had assumed that the husband met her AFTER your friend passed away…
@@kyliCatherine1 No, my bf and her ex's new wife didn't get along at first due to jealousy. The ex boyfriend was playing both of them in the beginning. Once my bf got over him and married someone else, she did the mature thing and apologized to her ex's new wife for the way she'd treated her. They eventually became friends and joined the same church. She came to the funeral with the ex and his family to pay their respects. My husband and I are still close to the ex since we were all childhood friends and that's how I became friends with his new wife.
Sorry I made it unclear. Hope this timeline helps to explain it better. 1. Bff dated her boyfriend off and on from 9th grade into her early 20s. 2. At age 22, her boyfriend cheated on her with her doppelganger, so she broke up with him. 3. The ex went back and forth between my Bff and her doppelganger for 2 years (lots of jealousy & drama during this time). 4. When she was 25, her ex finally married the doppelganger (my BFF was devastated) but people kept thinking he married my BFF because they look so much alike and he dated my BFF for close to 12 years. 5. My Bff moves on with life and gets married to a new guy at age of 26. After a year of marriage, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She and her husband joined a church and discovered her ex and her doppelganger are also members. They all buried the hatchet and apologized to each other for past hurts. 5. Her ex and his wife became friends with my BFF and her husband. They were very supportive while she was going through chemotherapy. 6. At the age of 29, my BFF lost her battle with breast cancer 😢. The ex and his wife came to the funeral and even helped with some of the funeral expenses. People at the funeral who didn't know the doppelganger was married to my Bff's ex assumed she was a twin sister or another close relative. I even assumed she was a relative I'd never met because at the time I'd only seen her once before in passing, even though my BFF talked about her a lot over the years. After my BFF's passing, my family and the ex became closer because of our shared grief. I'd known him since middle school and my husband knew his family since grade school. He was having a really hard time dealing with his grief. He confessed to me that he never stopped loving my BFF and didn't think he'd ever get over losing her. Though he loved his wife, he considered my BFF would always be the love of his life. He also admitted he let his immaturity ruin their relationship. Over the years, we remained close and our kids grew up together. Our youngest are Bff's now. He and his wife divorced eight years ago and he remarried. It's been twenty years since my BFF's funeral but we are all still connected through our kids. So, that's how I became friends with my deceased BFF's doppelganger. We just celebrated her 50th birthday last year and are planning a girls' trip in 2025. Life is strange.
My partner has one and his hairdresser asked why he saw him going out with another woman when he knows he has kids at home turns out it was someone else who we now know and they look like twins
As a Spaniard who had never in her life been to Canada before, I was sitting in a very posh restaurant in Quebec City a few years ago, and told the waiter about a food intolerance I have. Her answer: "Yes, we know, you told us last week when you were here". I replied that I had never in my life been in Quebec before and that I had only been in Canada for a couple of days. The waiter was adamant that the woman from the previous week was me, and brought along another colleague and one member of the kitchen staff to prove it, since apparently that woman had made quite a fuss about her food intolerance and many people remembered her. I was so puzzled, to the point I thought it was some kind of a prank from the people I was travelling with, but then nobody except me in that group spoke English or French and this would have been an extremely complicated prank to organise, since we had just arrived to Quebec that same morning. So, apparently, not only do I have a Doppelgänger in Quebec, but she has the same food intolerance than me, and we both went to that specific restaurant around the same time. Unbelievable! I even started wondering if my mother had had twins and one had been stolen at birth (something that sadly happened in Spain around the time was born). I still don't understand what might have happened.
About a dozen people said there was a woman who closely resembled me and after a few years I met the woman and instantly knew she was the one they afte talking about except U didn't think we looked that much ike even though we were our hair the same way. She told me people had called her my name many times. I was very glad she was pleasant person so she did not damage my reputation! I guess she moved away I only.met her once.
I've seen my parents doppelgangers but not just theirs but I have also seen my maternal aunts my mom's big sister my mother is 2 of 6 kids 4 girls 2 boys. With three being half siblings.
I’ve never personally meet my own doppelgänger, but I believe around 30 years ago I was told about her. I think this is bizarre because not only the people look alike but have a lot of the same likes and mannerisms. People were insisting I was somewhere doing something that “could “ have been me, but wasn’t. This is a big crazy world.
John and Neill are almost identical in the face and mannerisms, but not in body or size. Niamh and her doppelgängers were very similar in face and body and coloring. The two blonde girls didn't look at all alike. I think perception has a lot to do with it.
Ha! Was thinking the same thing! They do NOT look alike. Face is completely different. Brow bone, eye size, forehead, all different. The only thing similar is the hair. Talk about poor facial recognition. 😅
A girl in South Africa was told by her school friends that she had a doppelganger in the school. Long story short, it was her sister who had been stolen from a maternity ward when she was about two days old. A tragic story to be honest. No happy ending for the stolen baby. 😢😢
🆘👉🏼They are doing this, sometimes one is a cyborg. Cloning is going on and I suggest you read a book called “The body snatches,” written by Susan Reed. True story of a women who met a guy who was a shapeshifter. Amazon you can get it or look it up. It will wake you up of why there are some crazy humans out their, but they are NOT HUMAN. I saw a person and behind her eye I saw a machine eye. This shocked me to bits!
@@lovetruth5733 there are people who used to be sighted, and lost their vision, who are now being fitted with 'cyborg eyes' which help them see shadows and shapes. You possibly saw that 'machine' in someone's eye. Be happy for them, not afraid.
I was on a bus today heading to work. My dad passed away 2 years ago. I wasn't able to attend his funeral. Always broke my heart. Today this man got into the bus. First shock! He looked like my dad's identical twin. Same dressing, hair and skin tone. My dad taller. I know his body is in a cemetery in Kenya This is Washington state. I was officially freaked out. He got off the bus where I got off. And went to the same store I went to. Never once even noticed how freaked out I was. How? I Keep my eyes down usually on the bus. Why did I notice this dad lookalike? I will assume this was dad letting me know he is always with me.
I grew up with my doppelganger. We went to the same primary school, took dance classes together, and even piano with the same teacher. Our mothers worked in hospitals across the street from one another, and our fathers, on the same military base. We were each one of three siblings. When it came time to choose a highschool in our county, our parents decided to put us in the same one. We ended up being best friends. Most likely because of our circumstances more than anything but who knows. People constantly got us mixed up. Some swore they couldn't tell us apart for nearly 18 years of my life. Some people to this day still ask me if I'm me or her when they see me. It's extremely weird, but it's kinda cool to feel like you grew up as a twin without having the actual struggles of a twin.
I’ve seen my fiancé’s doppelgänger. I couldn’t get over how identical they were. I actually thought he was my fiancé. They weren’t NEARLY identical, they were COMPLETELY identical. The ONLY reason why I realized he wasn’t my fiancé was he doesn’t own the clothes the guy was wearing.
Your brain is breed for pattern matching and finding similarities. Even if they arent that similar you will attempt to find things that are similar. These people in the video arent that similar but your brain is trying to remember them so you break it down to an approximation and you then feel that the approximations are similar. This is further reinforced by the people in the videos by using makeup, clothing and accessories to further the illusion. You have been played and instead of thinking about it you attempted to further the ruse and you looked for more reasons to be fooled. smh
@@thomgizziz okay sure because you were there lmao never mind the amount of people even in BOTH of our families who thought it was him. But obviously you know more than me about all of this, including the experience I had myself. So why don't you tell me more about what actually happened? Hmm?
I grew up across the creek from my doppelgänger. We looked so much alike that from a distance our parents would confuse. Once she was grounded and her father saw me playing outside and was walking toward me with that father walk that means “Oh, you are in trouble now!” I immediately started yelling, Mr. Xxxx! I’m Beth! “ He replied, “Well, so you are! Have fun and be careful on your bike.”
Your story is kinda weird because why wouldn't the dad know if his daughter was inside the house or not and if you lived across the creek, why would you be playing near his house or he come near to yours? Are you sure he wasn't just a pervert?
I came across a gentleman at a grocery store that looked almost identical to my brother that had passed away 13 years ago. He even had the same first name! We sparked up a conversation, took selfies and after looking at the pics we noticed our lower jaws and mouths were extremely similar as well.
My brother was once almost picked up my doppelganger from primary school and she had the same name as me too. He had driven to another school to pick up one of his friend or something first before coming to get me from my school but he saw "me" there and called her over to bring her home assuming I had walked to that school. She responded since she had the same name as me but eventually they cleared up the mistake since he wasn't her brother. It was very odd and I kept hearing stories about this girl who looked like me. I wanted to ask my mom if I had a twin but I knew she'd start worrying about my mental health lol
In a strange town I walked into a pub. A group of men waved me over, one summoned: "Randy, we've been saving a seat for you." My name is not Randy. So, I sat down next to the one who spoke to me without saying a word, I smiled and nodded at the group figuring that "Randy" would be along soon and that I was in for some fun. One of the men was in the middle of a story when in walks "Randy", an exact doppelganger of me. In shock I turned my head away quickly so that the real Randy wouldn't notice me as he pulled up a chair. Silence struck the group as a I turned and faced them. My doppleganger was speechless. One of the men asked: "Will the real Randy please stand up." Of course, I stood up, but then sat down. Another man said: "Randy, I didn't know that you had a twin brother." The doppleganger said, "I don't know this man." That's when I laughed, broke my silence, and introduced myself. Randy and I looked so much alike that we immediately started comparing notes and soon realized that there was no way that we were related, and yet we were both the same age, build, height, skeletal size, coloring, and both of us have piercing blue eyes. The resemblance was amazing. We live in different parts of the world, so the chances of our paths crossing again are not likely. Still, it's fun to know that there is more than one copy of me circulating.
Neil and John are so wholesome together. Also while the women are more intimidated and scared, Neil and John are like "alright we look the same so we're best buddies now" haha i love it
It's quite fascinating, how they can not only look alike, but similarly to twins separated at birth they develop similar mannerisms and even similar lifestyles. It's really cool.
One day out of curiosity I googled Elvis sightings. I realized that most of the people said they saw him around the same place in southeastern Canada (I think it was Prince Edward island or somewhere around there?) while vacationing. I think he just has a doppelganger who lives there.
I actually went to high school with my doppelgänger. She was my geometry teacher’s daughter. We both even had a similar birthmark on the right side of our neck. It’s mostly invisible until we are either really cold or really hot. We both played volleyball and were in the theater department. Both passionate about art and science. We didn’t really notice how identical we were until there was a yearbook photo of the two of us side by side. The photographer had to ask us who was who for the caption on it. It was my junior year and her freshman. It was insane!
When I was a student I was walking into the city centre and was suddenly carried off my feet by two big guys, one under each armpit, I'm only a small guy. They were good heartedly laughing and looking at me, after a few hundred metres we'd reached the centre, one said 'I don't think it's him!" What could I say but "Thanks for the lift"
My daughter had a look-alike in high school who also was born on the exact same day and year and month as my daughter. Her mother went to high school with my husband. In another city. One day, I was in a hurry to pick my daughter up at school. I was frustrated to see her walking quickly in the wrong direction...I hop out and start yelling her name. She turned and trotted toward me and said, :Oh, hi Charla’s mom! Charla will be out in a minute!” I was just astounded. They were good friends in high school. Her mother was black and her dad white. I’m white, and my husband black.
"Hey stranger, you look like me!" "Wow! You look like me too! Weird!" "We don't know each other but let's go to the store and buy identical outfits!" "Okay!"
My Mom met her doppelganger when she was young and was driving around in Canada on her vacation. she had stopped someplace and was standing or walking outside a restaurant, and the manager came out and yelled at her to get inside and get to work! 😂 She was telling him he had her mixed up with somebody else. And that's when the young lady that worked there came along. Mom said it was like looking in a mirror.
I used to work with a guy that looked just like me. From about 50 yards, even I thought I was looking in a mirror. People who didnt see me everyday thought he was me. he loved it, since he was new. He started telling people he was my little brother as a joke and years later, this lady asked me how my brother was doing, but she meant him. I had to tell her, that was just a gag, we weren't related. She thought I was putting her on.
I was a photographer in a studio for several years. This guy came in to have his portrait taken. He looked exactly like a friend of mine that I grew up with. I said to the guy, “ I have to tell you something. I had a friend that looks exactly like you. “. He said his name wouldn’t be Brent Wellan would it? I was so shocked to hear that as it was my friends name. He said he had worked with him at one point a few years back. It was bizarre.
This happen to me . Thought I seen my mom getting on a bus . My brother and I blew my mom's mind when we got home to tell her about the lady we seen . Almost the same face , weight , height .... That was mind blowing . Something I will never forget . Good Health to all. Let's be safe out there EVERYONE.
I'm from Texas, and I was told by my mother, boyfriend, and father that I had a twin. I've never seen her in my town but she's been in my hometown, the town I lived in. One day at work, a guy tried to holler at me, but I knew he looked strangely familiar, so I declined. When asked why I said I believe we're cousins, I dkw I felt that way. He said I did also. We were 1st cousins, the lady I looked like was my half sister. I met her and took her to my parents, they were shook. That was my so-called twin. Funny part.was her eyes were green, and her dimples were way deeper her complexion was about 5 shades darker, but we looked alike other than that. She belonged to my father, who actually married her mother after I was born. Funny thing was he saw me in her but not her in me. I can't make this ish up.
No, Im afraid my doppelganger will commit some terrible crime then an hour later FBI,CIA and secret servive storm my house and here I am saying "well it must of been a doppelganger" just to watch all those men with badges smirk and say "tell me another". 🤣
Yep, I agree. The technology we have today 'thinks' it's accounted for variances to w/in .01%. So, what happens to the 1% error margin when the machine makes a 99% 'hit' on the WRONG person? Are those machines still considered accurate, then 🤔.
After my dad died..i was looking on the internet at a pic of a crowded street in china...saw my fathers exact double..felt good..almost like he is happy living his life somewhere in time..
I saw my doppelganger getting into a car years ago when i was a teenager. It was so freaky that her whole body looked like mine! My brother had given me a headsup the week before. He said, you know, you’ve got a doppelgänger running around the neighborhood. Unfortunately i never saw her again. I wish i had. It’s such a strange experience to see yourself like a twin. Very weird.
I found my doppelgänger when I searched my mother’s name on Facebook and up came my doppelgänger with my mother’s name! I’m betting that coincidence is very rare indeed!!
They look a little bit alike, but I definitely didn't think they were similar enough to one another to be part of a doppelganger study. Glad it wasn't just me
I ran into my doppelganger in the streets when i was 20, we just froze and stared at each other for a few mins! I think we were both freaked up and just walked on swiftly and silently the other direction! I wish i had said something, think of all the pranks we could have played lols!
In the Glitch in the Matrix stories, sometimes people meet a doppelganger who is really from a parallel reality. They almost never succeed in talking to each other. I remember one example where a guy at a family dinner in a hotel goes back to the room he and his parents are staying in, in order to get his phone. In the room, he finds his dad sitting on the bed. He says hello, and the dad nods, but basically ignores him. When the son gets back to the dinner, his dad is there, and had never left. So who was the dad on the bed? There is another one that was even creepier. This woman is going to the dentist and tells her employer that she may not come to work after the appointment, depending on how she felt. After the dental appointment, she calls the office and tells her boss that she won't be coming in. Her boss says "But you were just here." She denies it vehemently, and gets so upset that she goes in to the office. Everyone in the office says that she had been there. There was a cctv camera in the office, so they run it back, at her insistence, and THERE SHE IS on camera. She is wearing different clothes than what she had been wearing earlier, but they were all clothes that she actually owned, outside of the shoes, which she had never seen before. Tell me that isn't weird!
I went to a wedding once were there were two doppelgangers. They had never met before but they were so alike that they could have been identical twins. Everything was the same, even details such as earlobes, small wrinkles and even body posture. They posed for pictures and everyone there was astonished. Had it been me I would have insisted on a DNA test.
I never met mine, but I’ve had friends and classmates in college tell me they’ve seen him. I was walking into a club and a girl came up to me and started yelling at me. She stopped once she realized it wasn’t her boyfriend. My date jumped back and asked if I knew her. I said, No. That was the first time I had an encounter with someone who saw my doppelgänger. The story’s did occur for about 3-5 years, then he must have moved away.
That was fun! Thank you! When my cousin was born just a few months after me (our moms are first cousins) one of our great grandma's immediately told our moms we were "twins from different mother's" Everyone bushed it off as a crazy old lady (who was also a medicine woman and very wise) we saw each other again at age 7 (she was raised in Connecticut and me in California) at that time even our own parents could not tell us apart. We spent 3 weeks together and had great fun tricking everyone. We did not see each other again until we were 57, 50 years later. She is taller, I am shorter, and we still look alike. What was most amazing to both of us and our mothers... Our lives have been parallel. From illness and injury to relationships and education. We had no connection over those 50 years yet our lives were the same... Well I married and she lived-with long-term, but I was raised Catholic and she wasn't so we figured that was a social difference. I just love this stuff!
@@valentinahernandez7291 Not everyone's family is close in physical distance for one thing. But also, not all families are close in any way at all. My family is like this. Sad but true.
I met my dopple ganger in a post office queue about 10 years ago, the woman in front of me started talking about her family as if she knew me, when things started to get a bit serious and embarrassing I had to stop her and say I wasn't who she thought I was, it took some convincing as she thought I was her daughter in law....how strange was that... EDIT: imagine all the dopple gangers who shouldn't be in prison....
Yes, I have often thought of this when someone INNOCENT is pointed out in a police line up and it being said "THAT'S HIM, I"D NEVER FORGET THAT FACE!" ..
My doppelgänger is 4 years younger than me, we share the same first name, and we graduated from the same high school. I’ve been approached by several people thinking that I’m her.
I once approached a maintenance man at work asking him to help me with a project. He seemed confused and I eventually realized he was a customer! I was so embarrassed and he was a bit offended. Then, the real maintenance man walked in and their jaws dropped. They looked so much alike! Then we learned one was Mexican and the other Russian. They even had the same balding pattern. They had a great laugh, and I was grateful the customer understood my mistake!
I had a doppelganger in elementary school. He was a year ahead of me, but we not only looked identical, we had the same first name. We never talked. There was a weird tension between us.
As a visiting nurse I was to see a young woman and was greeted at a door by an elderly woman who just stared at me then apologized because I looked like her mother. My turn to stare came when her daughter entered the room because SHE looked like MY mother. Well, turns out my mum is Carpathian-Rusyn… and the ladies were from Ukraine, the home of many Rusyns.
Mine was from a rival school across town, unfortunately he was the older of the Westside school shooters in Arkansas. I had relatives calling my family when the pictures of him hit the news thinking it was me. I even worked with his brother a few years later during high-school. He just stopped and was speechless upon seeking me, knowing the fact his brother was incarcerated at the time. Super weird situation
In my 20's I was sat down with friends waiting for a gig to start in Pompey Guildhall ,when one said to me " hey look , you're over there as well" , pointing to another guy with an afghan coat like mine with hair and a face like mine. I had a weird feeling looking at this person that looked just like me. I didn't go over to meet him because I thought we might cancel each other out... and I really wanted to see this gig!
I'll never forget when I was in college, and went skiing with friends. I was waiting in the ski lift line and this family group kept staring at me. I was growing somewhat uncomfortable, when the father of the group came over and apologized, saying 'We can't believe it -- you look EXACTLY like my niece! Would you mind if we snapped a photo to show her when we get back home?" I always wished he'd had a photo of his niece.
When my niece was 11 or 12, we went out of town to see a concert, and 3 different people said, "Oh, hey!" and tried to have conversations with her as if they knew who she was. No matter how close they got to her, no matter how much she said back to them... none of them second-guessed that she was this person they knew. It was really weird.
In my teens and early twenties I got stopped, called, and waved at multiple times by people calling me Sandra. Apparently I looked so much like her that one lady once got miffed that I (to her) avoided her because she and this Sandra were following the same course at night school. She was stunned when I told her my name to find out I was a totally different person. The biggest incident was when somebody pulled me aside and started telling me something about another person I did not know at all, but was a mutual acquaintance of this person and "Sandra". I had to stop her in the middle of the story to tell her I had no clue who she was talking about. I then asked her if she thought I was Sandra and bingo: yes, she, too, was a person who mistook me for her. This all stopped when I was in my late twenties/early thirties, so this Sandra may have moved away or our looks/style changed so much that we no longer looked alike.
I think it is interesting how we all process faces differently because to me they do look very alike except for the eyes they are obviously different colors.. I think this is so cool.. I wanna find my double 😅😩😩 I bet she’s funny and cute 😂😂..
Back in high school someone noticed there were a lot of girls that looked alike. So a contest was held to see how many doppelgangers could be found. The winners found 9 girls that were so alike it was virtually impossible to tell them apart!
Mine lives in Germany and I wanted to be a writer but became a painter instead but she became the writer! Too bad she never replied to my invitation to chat! Seeing yourself successful in another makes me proud and very happy! We are both good ladies and I just love knowing that! 💖🙏
I've never met my doppelganger but one time I went out to eat with a group of friends and the restaurant had old historic photos on the wall. I heard one of my friends say "oh my God, there's Sandy!" and sure enough, I was staring at a photo of myself from around 100 years ago. It was crazy. I can't imagine what it would feel like to meet my look alike in person.
i had trouble maker dopple once. i was getting blamed for her actions. no body believed she wasnt me, until my daughter saw her out and called me to ask WHY was at X. we moved.
My coworker and I are virtually identical visually. Everyone absolutely insists we are identical twins separated at birth. We already knew we were not related because we are both amateur genealogists and we compared family trees but we also thought it would be fun to compare DNA tests. 20 years ago I was outside a country pub and a guy started talking to me. When I asked him who he was he told me that we had been chatting earlier that day at a bookies. I had never seen him before in my whole life but he refused to believe that I wasn't the same guy.
I wrestled in college and at tournaments people would approach me and ask why I transferred schools to compete. When I told them I didn't transfer they looked perplexed. Turns out, an athlete one year older than me competing another college in the same state was my doppelganger. When I first saw it even threw me for a loop. I think this is more common than we know.
Years ago I was in a mall store and a man came up to me and hugged me. He was excited to see me, asked me when I returned to town! I HAD just returned to town, moved back home, and was trying hard to remember this man. After speaking to this man a few more minutes I found out I have a non biological identical twin somewhere. This happened to me again a couple of years later in the exact same city. There has to be a common ancestor from a thousand years ago.
Back in the day ('60's) my dad would go to Vegas. He looked like Dean Martin. PEople would ask him for his autograph. I can't imagine their surprise when he wrote "Bruno" instead of "Dino".
Tell us more then what happened

I saw my brother's Doppelganger at a Grocery store.he's been dead for 5 years.I had to talk to him. He said he had been stopped many times over the years and people calling him John. I had photos of my brother on my iPhone, and he absolutely freaked out. We instantly became best friends and have been for many years.
Are they the same age? I’m curious if you were surprised to see a younger or older version of your brother. It’s great that his doppelgänger turned out to be a good guy-he might look like your brother, but there’s always the chance his personality could have been completely different and off-putting.
This is so special

my husband and I moved to a new village last year, and a guy from the neighborhood befriended my husband.

Confusing the way this was written.
@@bwilliams4u
That's just added to the confusion, because there's no time-line to the events you've mentioned. They seem to be out of order.
I would love to see younger photographs of Neal and John over the years to see if it was a livelong resemblance or more an older age resemblance.

Still, it's fun to know that there is more than one copy of me circulating.

same! I came to the comments to see if anyone said it.
Maybe the guy in the show wanted to ask one of them for a date
Blonde girls look completely different imo
This takes on a whole new meaning when you think about people talking about finding themselves 😊
😂😂😂😂
😜
🤣🤣🤣
😅😩🤣
Holy smokes you have my name
And this is what scares me about facial recognition technology
Really? Of all things, you're afraid of finding your doppelganger
No, Im afraid my doppelganger will commit some terrible crime then an hour later FBI,CIA and secret servive storm my house and here I am saying "well it must of been a doppelganger" just to watch all those men with badges smirk and say "tell me another". 🤣
I looked so identical to my twin sister , that we used to trade places on several occasions throughout our youth through young adulthood .
Yep, I agree. The technology we have today 'thinks' it's accounted for variances to w/in .01%. So, what happens to the 1% error margin when the machine makes a 99% 'hit' on the WRONG person? Are those machines still considered accurate, then 🤔.
Denise Eggert You’re actually Twins so that doesn’t count... this is about nonrelated people NOT twins.
It’s adorable how close they sit next to each other on the couch, John and Neil
The blondes don’t look alike at all ?!?
The three brunettes were amazing 😱
The 3 brunette women didn't either.
Wow! That first couple have exactly the same eyes and they both laughed the same way! Wow!!!
Awww John and Neil dressing like twins, too freaking cute!!!
I have been told by hundreds of strangers that they have seen me before. I want to try and find my doppelgängers
Ikr, I probably have one in every town. I always look like someone's relative or an acquaintance
I also always get told I look familiar to people. I just thought maybe I have Plain Jane features that aren’t unique so I look like anyone.
Remy O'donnell I get this too, since I was young. They always say where do I know you from? You look so familiar ....and I’ve never seen them before
Nooo not me..Red Rum is long gone lol😁
If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been told this I’d be rich
That’s amazing those two gentlemen look so identical their mannerisms are identical and they share the same lifestyle
They look like twins
Fascinating
Those 2 older gentlemen are A-mazing.
What a trip. Life is strange.
I thought they would find out they were related in the end.
The blonde chicks don't look even the tiniest bit alike.
Was looking for this comment to make sure it wasn't just me
haha was funny when they popped up
So true ! one of them actually looked intelligent.
That's what I was about to write. The only similarity is the blond hair.
They look a little bit alike, but I definitely didn't think they were similar enough to one another to be part of a doppelganger study. Glad it wasn't just me
We never get an opportunity to see yourself. When we look in a mirror we see an inverted image of ourselves.
My doppelgänger probably living my best life 😅😩
Elin Winblad fr 😭😭😭
I think your talking about an alternate earth? Think about it? There you are probably with someone you got out of your life long ago? Lol
The Prince and the Pauper
IKR 😂 😂 that’s exactly what I was thinking about mine 😂
Elin Winblad she live in Africa lol
The blondes are not really alike in my opinion
And they have loads of makeup on. It seems like it would be much more believable if they were totally clean.
I agree
Same
One just weighs more
It was driving me crazy, I wouldn't even mistake them from a distance.
I ran into my doppelganger in the streets when i was 20, we just froze and stared at each other for a few mins! I think we were both freaked up and just walked on swiftly and silently the other direction! I wish i had said something, think of all the pranks we could have played lols!
It wasn’t your doppelgänger. It was you, from the future.
@@d4ever649 the thought of that is creepy. Could be true tho😱
happened to me at age 10 - same reaction as yours - looked said nothing
When I met my mother's cousin, I noticed that his son looked a lot like my cousin who is a female and my mother's sister's daughter!
Why would you not see your cousin for 50 years????
@@valentinahernandez7291 Not everyone's family is close in physical distance for one thing. But also, not all families are close in any way at all. My family is like this. Sad but true.
I met my dopple ganger in a post office queue about 10 years ago, the woman in front of me started talking about her family as if she knew me, when things started to get a bit serious and embarrassing I had to stop her and say I wasn't who she thought I was, it took some convincing as she thought I was her daughter in law....how strange was that...
EDIT: imagine all the dopple gangers who shouldn't be in prison....
😳😳😳☠️ THAT IS A , *TERRIFYING* THOUGHT!!
( PRISON)
There are many.
Was just thinking about this, Mistaken Identity and becoming a victim of the LEGAL JUSTICE SYSTEM
Yes, I have often thought of this when someone INNOCENT is pointed out in a police line up and it being said "THAT'S HIM, I"D NEVER FORGET THAT FACE!" ..
Almost happened to my dad, except he didn't have a specific tattoo. So he wasn't arrested.
My doppelgänger is 4 years younger than me, we share the same first name, and we graduated from the same high school. I’ve been approached by several people thinking that I’m her.
People always say I look like someone they know, but I’ve never found my doppelgänger.
God me too.
I wonder if there are apps for finding !!! I must go look now ✌
I once approached a maintenance man at work asking him to help me with a project.
Mexicans originally came from Sibera, in Russia.
I had a doppelganger in elementary school. He was a year ahead of me, but we not only looked identical, we had the same first name. We never talked. There was a weird tension between us.
😂😅
Sounds like typical twins 😂 lol jk I have a twin so I know the tension lol
Wow, 😳
In my 20's I was sat down with friends waiting for a gig to start in Pompey Guildhall ,when one said to me " hey look , you're over there as well" , pointing to another guy with an afghan coat like mine with hair and a face like mine. I had a weird feeling looking at this person that looked just like me. I didn't go over to meet him because I thought we might cancel each other out... and I really wanted to see this gig!
I personally don’t think the two blonde girls look alike
I was so upset that I couldn't see the similarity 😭
yup
Nothing at all!!
I was so confused as to why people thought they did
Agreed
Apparently i have a doppelganger in my town. Im dying to see who she is because I've been mistaken for someone else 3 times now. Its odd
Lol I love how it starts off with them walking in their homes and asking what’s for dinner and both of their partners respond exactly the same lol!
You never asked for Sandra’s phone number or photo??
The blondes looked nothing a like literally nothing
Like NOOOOOOThing aaat alll, they swiched their places in their intro, and you could sooo clearly tell them appart lol
I was just about to leave the same comment!
The Swedish girl didn’t seem to happy about hers.
I think it's mainly because one is much heavier than the other. The bones structure is similar but the heavy girl had fatty padding obscuring.
I was coming down here to see if I was the only one who wondered why they called the blondes doppelgangers, which they definitely are not..
The blondes didn’t look alike to me idk, it’s funny how we all process faces a little differently.
Lol you are right. They look nothing similar except for the makeup and color of hair. Not even look like sisters. Idk why they were featured here.
One is heavier than the other.
I thought so too. Like besides hair color and clothes they look nothing alike
I agree!
Fancy seeing you here 😁
Where is the city this high school is in?
Did they all look like the local milkman?!?! 🤣
Mine lives in Germany and I wanted to be a writer but became a painter instead but she became the writer! Too bad she never replied to my invitation to chat!
Seeing yourself successful in another makes me proud and very happy! We are both good ladies and I just love knowing that! 💖🙏
So sweet that these men are good friends now as well as the others look alike. They all have new friends. Id love to meet my doppelganger.
The men are such sweet hearts!! How wonderful is it to have met a friend with your face!
Fo foxnews
I've never met my doppelganger but one time I went out to eat with a group of friends and the restaurant had old historic photos on the wall. I heard one of my friends say "oh my God, there's Sandy!" and sure enough, I was staring at a photo of myself from around 100 years ago. It was crazy. I can't imagine what it would feel like to meet my look alike in person.
Sol Rising I was just going to say the same😅
Theres a pic somewhere in the cyber world of a modern girl who looks exactly like this girl in a painting from like 100 years ago. Weird
OK that's creepy.
i had trouble maker dopple once. i was getting blamed for her actions. no body believed she wasnt me, until my daughter saw her out and called me to ask WHY was at X. we moved.
I don't know why he acted like the Middle East and western Asia was such a stretch. That's practically neighbors.
My coworker and I are virtually identical visually. Everyone absolutely insists we are identical twins separated at birth. We already knew we were not related because we are both amateur genealogists and we compared family trees but we also thought it would be fun to compare DNA tests. I'm fairly even parts English/Scottish/Irish with a little bit Danish, a little Norwegian and a tiny amount of Spanish. He is fairly even parts Russian/German/Polish with tiny amounts of Italian and French. It's funny that we have the same occupation and share the same hobbies and share the same politics and social views. Oh and our parents have the same first names.
That's incredible! 😊
One of mine drove with the same company. We have the same driving style. Drive it like you stole it.
Wow,!!! Are you 2 astrolgocially simliar too.
This research needs to be done further.
If Neil Tyson says we live in a simulation. Then we can capture that glitch and simulate it through physics, chem and bio.
Probably, we can come out of the matrix.
One of you jumped multi-verses… but who?
Wanna turn it into a documentary? Reach out i guess 😅
My best friends dad looks exactly like Dennis Quad. It’s so funny to watch people go up to him to ask for an autograph
God created 1person like you tiz amystery
Ella tell your best ftiend to tell her Dad he can make MONEY from being a Celebrity-Look-A-Like. The have agencies that specialize in that.
Back in the day ('60's) my dad would go to Vegas. He looked like Dean Martin. PEople would ask him for his autograph. I can't imagine their surprise when he wrote "Bruno" instead of "Dino".
Wow. Imagine if he looked exactly like Dennis Quaid?
My Dad is the doppelganger of Einstein, honestly, it's spooky, I once bought a Toby Jug of Einstein, looks more like my dad than Einstein 😂
I really enjoy how the interviewer has rather genuine conversation with these people.
At 0:41 they put the same person on both sides!
Yes they did
I’d like to see Niamh and her three lookalikes all together in one photo! ❤️
Ya
