Welcome Brothers
Hello! Was about to go sleep then I saw this haha
Good morning
Wranglestar have you ever considered doing any collabs (such as motorcycle trips like these) with nutnfancy? Gosh that would be a cool video to watch you both go back and forth
I happy you decided to upload this video…
This is the slice o’ life stuff I come to UA-cam for.
With al respect take that gasoline off your front fender and attach it the to rear don’t need to have a head on impact with a tree and sadly rip that bag open loosing all your spare gas ⛽️ makes sense to put it on your rear and keep your steering light
I'm totally jealous that you have such awesome trails available in your backyard. I'm living vicariously through you man
@@goysb4jays566 set for life because he worked to put himself there.
I wish you’d do way more of this stuff man. I’m an avid motorcyclist I love the footage.
Please upload more of this type of content! As a Pacific Northwest mountain biker I loved seeing the dirt biking on Mount Fuji.
You were smart to train prior to your trip. The style of trail riding is more physically demanding than the average person would think. Enjoyed this episode... Thank you!
I don't ride moto bikes (cycle bikes yes) but enjoy these videos still. It's always enjoyable to watch someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about a subject. I think you said something similar many years ago about MKBHD - that you aren't super into his technology niche but his videos are so good and he's so passionate that it's worth watching.
Check out Nutnfancy. He has done motorcycle videos.
Would you do a video with what's inside your kit in the air box of the bike please?
Why are there 2 valves on the front tire?
The bike set up is awesome. The terrain looks fantastic. I also agree with you on how enjoyable it is to get on a dirt bike in difficult terrain and have to be solely focused on the ride.
Glad it was an awesome ride and that all the prep paid off.....thanks for the videos and content as always....best for your family and endeavors man
I may have missed it, but what is your EDC when you ride and what is your standard EDC for your truck?
I have a video up on this check last month,
@@wranglerstar Oops, my apologies Sir. Great vid today BTW.
4:06 Brilliant! Mine broke off. I need to do this right away.
Thank you so much!
I’m 54 and my bike is my gym, it’s also my alone time with my lord and savor!
Amen brother in Christ.
I've never riden a dirt bike or motorcycle but this makes me want to buy one and get out there and enjoy life more. Thanks for sparking an interest in dirt bikes.
That looks like a lot of fun! I'm loving the beautiful Fall weather we've been enjoying in the PNW!
The motorcycle videos are some of my favorites. Thank you brother!
I can second that, my eyes are glued to the screen the whole time
That looks like so much fun, and how lucky are we in the PNW to have multi use areas like this?!
Hope you have more great rides! Enjoy watching the videos.
Stay safe; God bless y'all!
Nice bike and I like what you did with the gearing at 2:39 as that low first gear helps us older riders out of rough terrain LOL ! 😁
Great ride guys and thanks for taking us all along 👍
That ride!!
As a prairie rider, so envious!
If your hiring helpers!
I am very interested in that gas cap. Looks like you can lay it down to rest a tank bag on top of it. Would love to know more about that. Clever idea. Regarding the QuadLock, my KTM has killed 2 cameras on my phone using the quad lock. I did get the dampener for street riding, but for off-road, the phone gets stowed away.
Looks like a stock Husky gas cap with a Taco Moto Free Flow vent hose. Warning: once you visit the Taco Moto site you can't un-see it - Happy shopping!
@@itsFritz Thanks. I know Taco... All Kim owners know Taco....
Quad lock phone case and mounts are simply fantastic.
They have a load of mounting options for different applications.
Wow! You’ve come a long way in 4 years! Idaho dirtbiker here. I ride Beta 300 xtrainer. I love the dirt bike vids you are doing! Great upgrades bro! Keep them coming! I love the Patagonia work pants you recommended too!!👍
Throw some tear-offs on those lenses. Its nice to rip it off mid ride and have clear vision.
Those are really only good for short rides. The problem is they're purpose built for racing not necessarily for clear vision but enough to vision to stay on track. You tear it off and within minutes it's dirty again. On casual rides it's easier to just stop and wipe down the outside.
Treat the lens with "Dust off" plus you're not littering the forest....
You shouldn't have uploaded it
You should try the Cardo Packtalk. Made our long rides much easier to communicate. And you can listen to music
We use SENA,
Beautiful back country you get to go riding in, makes me wish I was into riding motorcycles! Glad you had a good trip!
Hey Cody! I really appreciate that you upload these types of videos! I've ridden road bikes for years, but am just now getting into off-road riding, and it's been such a time and money saver for me to be able to look at your bike's mods. It's a great weight off of my shoulders to know that these have been tested and vetted, and are not a gimmick or waste of money. We ride in very similar terrain, and your videos are really helpful for a beginner enduro rider. Thank you.
how do the 2 compare in regard to being a workout? (what works out what part of the body and whats more a workout per hour)
Is Mount Fuji a nick name for another mountain in PNW?
Not a nickname. Its just South of Waldo Lake.
Can someone explain where has the rear brake gone ? Is the front & back coupled ?
Rear brake is on the left hand on a custom double lever setup,
@@wranglerstar thanks for the answer, i’m looking it up !
You won't find it online. We use a custom made double lever bracket that is machined here locally. Unfortunately not for sale to the public,
@@wranglerstarcan you clutch and rear brake at the same time with this set up? Do you have a video of the set up?
How do you know if you need to rewind the stator? My bike keeps blowing 10 amp fuses for lights. I have a baja light and have not been successful in getting it to run.
I live in Northeast Tennessee and it's somewhat comparable but I love your set up way more than mine, I love watching what kind of gear you take, keep it up.
This looks so fun, I enjoy hard enduro but havent done a long ride yet
I like these equipment walk around videos! Thanks for sharing
You should get the sena intercom system for you and your son but also buddies too if you ride with them alot. Very good product.
We appreciate you guys!
Might be time to put dual alternators on that bike!
Does anyone have a source for the reinforced tall milk crate stand? Everywhere I look it seams like a discontinued item.
Yeh In my shed 😂
Good for you Cody. That gets you up there with God as well. One day maybe you can post a long build video explaining everything you've done to the bike, what bike it is, ect. maybe links to the stuff. I really enjoy watching your riding videos. Wish there were places like that on the east coast, yeah, I'm one of "those" guys lol. One day I hope to move somewhere that's more trail friendly, like Tennessee if we stay east or Utah if we go west(I lived in Logan for a year and a half after I got back from Iraq and I've longed to go back ever since). Anyway, stay safe, carry a blaster just incase a mountain lion desired a meal lol and I look forward to all your content. God bless Brother.
Get a bike, come out West for a week. I'll take you on the adventure of a lifetime,
Wish I could take you up on that but unfortunately, pretty sure my dirt biking days are over, my body is better suited for a quad these days. With 2 ruptured disc, degenerative disc's in my neck and back, very bad tendinitis in both elbows, weak ankles and starting to get bad knees, an atv is about the only way I can explore deep in the woods anymore. 10 years as an army tanker has taken its toll on me and I need to reserve what I have left so I can play with my 2 and 4 year old. One day I would like to bring the family out and maybe camp by the river, if you're still going to be doing that.
For a bike 6 years old, and riding what you ride, the bike looks amazing! I know you take of your stuff!
As an Eastcoast guy I am always jealous of the gnarly terrain you guys have available to ride. The extent of our “hard” riding in western NY is gully trails on the farms, at least in my immediate area without driving a couple hours away from home.
check out the NEbdr
@@daftnord4957 I have ridden section 1-4. Very tame. Nothing compared to single track.
Are you worried about your camera on your phone with the new mount? Is that only an issue if you are filming? Really appreciate all the information you share ❤
Hey Cody do you do any long distance shooting anymore with the bolt gun?
Yes, we sure do,
wow, im in awe of those fall colours. wow!
I don't watch these types of videos, but I wanted to say it was entertaining!
I would be interessted, what are the 2 air Ventils at the Wheels for ? Red and Blue...Thx !
We got a sneak peak at a TADCON wife breakfast, it looked great😊.
Great Ride (6 oops would be a bare minimum for me)😊 Do you have a link for rewinding stators? Baja Designs doesn’t sell the one I need✌️
I need a stator rewind source, also. My old Honda stator is obsolete.
@@tkendall my kids CR has encountered the same fate. as I will likely have to diy...good luck👍
What is the result of the CAT scan on your bike though?
Really enjoying the dirt bike vids ! Thanks for sharing !
0:32 was that the invisa-watch you were looking at? I have one too.
Your bike looks nicely setup. Not my favorite but IMS makes a 3.1 gallon tank for it. I put a billit aluminum shark fin on to protect my front brake rotor. I use my front brake 99% of the time on steep downhills. Cheers!
You would probably like my helmet Go pro setup obviously I ride a rocket ship but all the same motorcycles are life
Those Husqvarna 2 stroke dirt bikes are nice. I totally want to get one someday.
I ride the same area almost every year. My favorite place!
Just a question, did you move the back brake to the handle bars and if so what is the purpose of that?
I hope you always upload your bike riding videos. I'm an off road bike rider, and I enjoy them immensely.
You my friend are an absolute inspiration. From doing things right, to doing more things. I have to say there are not many people I look up to. You sir have earned top spot on that list. God bless!
Can't be without locktite! Amazing you can pull that off and what one year after a broken femur?? I want to ride like that someday, in fact I just want to be canadian wrnaglerstar, I have done the forest fire service, now I am full time firefighter, I guess next will be quitting to run my business and youtube channel 😂 Keep it up!
Not your standard hobby. Love it!
Have a blast, keep safe.
Have a good one people! Enjoy the video
Oh to have a group of real men to have adventures with!
I love your closing comments. It is exactly why I love the sport as well. Cheers mate!
Have you ever heard of GMRS? I'd highly recommend! You register with the FCC, no tests, pay em $35 and you and your family can transmit for miles. Affordable radio's too!
Perhaps I’m wrong, but I believe your reasoning behind the solid brake disc overheating less is incorrect. The slotted discs should allow for better heat dispersion and cooling. The solid disc, while it increases stopping power should overheat more easily because of reduced cooling. It’s the same concept for car disk brakes. Not sure on this one, but I would also think that the slotted discs would allow for better clean out for mud as opposed to solid disks.
Looks like a blast!
Very cool looking riding area 😁👍
I have my 2011 KTM 300 XCW suspension set up to what I call " supple" for trails only , I love it.
I need a recommendation on good enduro riding gear , my current jacket the sleeves unzip which I like but not enough pockets .
Beautiful view. Man does this make me miss riding Enduro.
That bike is setup perfectly!
Money, money, money
Hey everyone! Much love from north West Oregon!
Hey, Wranglerstar! This is unrelated to the video, however, I think you should test the "GripClean” hand wipes and do a review on them. They are supposedly be able to take off anything off of your hands. Anything.
We’re going to need some riding footage in the next dirt bike video, please😊
I have a drz 400… your great example of a man.
Damn, I miss trail riding with friends.
Definitely post videos like this!!! No question about it
Your explanation at the end of the video is the exact same reason I ride.
What fun!! I’d love to do something like that….very cool
Sweet but I’m doubtful that front fender fuel cell will hold up. Hope I wrong; have fun!
Awesome ride and awesome Husqvarna build .
Thank you for sharing. This was a LOT of fun. God Bless.
Y'all should get a 701 and hit the ORBDR.
Nice....good luck out there!
I have stopped using my iphone after damaging the camera multiple times due to vibrations caused by the bike (I have the same bike)...
How does the quad lock hold up to that? I have seen quad locks on the market but always used a solid mount (which I am assuming has played a role in the issue)
That is one Knobby tire holy cow!
Why is there no rear brake pedal/lever??
Where is your brake pedal Cody? I noticed you mention the rear disc is easier on your hand... what have I missed?
Why two valve stems on the rims? Never seen that before!
It's a tubeless system,
6:37 What kind of watch is that? :)
I'm actually glad you did the video. My God. A man needs to have some fun in this crazy world.
I could tell you have a good taste in tires and terrain by the VE33s with Tubliss. Its almost like cheating in the rocks
We need more riding videos
Apparently my stock WR250R would not fair well on a trip like this. Looks like I need a ton of upgrades. :)
Riding is like a form of meditation. You have to focus on the present.
52 year old ex motocross rider
10 years ago I broke 10 ribs, popped my liver like a grape, and collapsed my lung....2 weeks 3 days in hospital...
Still riding, cuz its awesome
Have fun
I feel like people that are very well prepared look at everyone else when they break down like, you Dumas. Just kidding. It's nice to be prepared not only for yourself but for others.
Cody, do you think the 2 strokes out perform th four strokes, I've rode a yzf400 since the f came out. I love the bike and was just wondering if you have ever tried a 4 stroke.
strange to have a back brake on the bars 🇬🇧 and auto clutch?✌
Yes Auto clutch w/clutch lever,
@@wranglerstar that's sort of appealing to me 👍
