Just a word of warning for the MedFlight insurance, you typically buy it directly from the company that provides the flights, and so you are only covered if they come to the scene. Typically there is only one service in an area so you don't have to worry about it, but sometimes there is more than one service. Also this means if you travel to different areas of the country that insurance will be worthless. It's definitely good to have if you do most of your adventuring in one area though, because medflight is ridiculously expensive.

Cody I don't dirt bike anymore, but I find it enjoyable watching you geek out with it. The issue you fight with is weight... it's the same issue we deal with in light aircraft, particularly with back country aircraft.
Your ideas for tools and gear fit well with my hobby of aviation. That filter will be going in my survival bag for sure and I'll be looking into the titanium tools to be carried in the aircraft too.
When Dad was bush flying with the Super Cub he carried a small collection of tools but they were enough to do most repairs on the plane in the bush, including removal of the engine.

The system he uses is called tubliss if you want to look it up. It has two valves: one for high pressure bladder and one for low pressure. The high pressure bladder is right on the rim, and secures the tire to the wheel. The low pressure part is what determines the rigidity of the tire. The guys I ride with usually run 8-10psi, but I know some that go as low as 5psi.

The issue I always had with tight fitting packs was the restriction of breathing. Once you get going and are huffing and puffing, you want your chest and lungs to be able to expand and contract unimpeded. Anything applying pressure means you have to work that much harder to breathe.

Just a few things to keep in mind. The 100% deet can ruin some fabrics and plastics, (basically melts them). You might want to check with the manufacturer of that pack and see what they say. I know it can ruin some ultra light backpacking gear. Also the water filter you have is the Sawyer Micro and the one you linked to is the Sawyer Squeeze. A lot of hikers tried that micro filter and said it doesnt hold up too well. Said its not worth the 1oz of weight savings over the Sawyer Squeeze which is more reliable. One last thing is the Sawyer bags tend to leak or even pop. Check out something like the Cnoc Vecto bag which is way more durable and easier to fill.

It has excellent adjustment and body retention, I found the bag to rarely ever ride up on me. I loved this bag so much I took it on 2 different international trips as my carry-on.
