    Thank you so much Kevin for addressing this question! I've seen conflicting information online regarding fasting (autophagy) and bone health. But I'm with you and Cynthia, I think 12-15 hours should be safe. I just did 22 yesterday! I'm hoping it helps me get rid of stored toxins and the fat around the middle it is stored in haha.

    I still wonder if fasting is positive when lifting weights in the morning- or if the body gets Acid and hurt bones

    Do you think butter coffee or green matcha tea with MCT oil in the morning counts as fasting

      Great to hear from you! Fasting typically means abstaining from food completely, including anything added to water, tea, and coffee. 😊

    Thank you for covering this topic. I have been wondering about fasting and bone health. The RDA for women for calcium is between 1000 and 1200 mg/day, and I believe that only 500 to 600 mg of calcium can be absorbed within a particular time window. I am wondering about thoughts on these particular points as they relate to bone health and fasting. Thank You!
