The Riddler's origin is a pretty realistic version of how his disorders would form, and I find that very interesting.

I loved the Riddle in the first batman Arkham game, it was interesting how batman managed to solve his riddles and put him in jail without even fighting him physically
Truly one of the greatest intellects of DC. What I like the most about this is how his goal evolved. At first he just wanted recognition and no longer be mediocre but now he wants both recognition for true intellect and to keep challenging his own IQ.
that's actually a cool origin story. prior to this video, I had only known the origin stories from Batman Forever and The Batman cartoon
The Riddler really is an underrated character. I think we should see him more in a live action movie, just like how we do with the joker.

I’ve known the Riddler for years, but this might be my first time learning about his comic book origin. I’ve seen different origin stories in the Riddler’s various depictions in other media, such as Batman Forever and Gotham.

@@seth9655 See, I feel differently about Jim’s interpretation than you do; believe it or not, “Batman Forever” was how I was personally introduced to the character of the Riddler. I concur he’s not a 100% interpretation, but I for one can’t really bring myself to hate that version, either.

Props to Frank Gorshin for popularizing The Riddler on the 1966 show. Before that, The Riddler had been an obscure character used only a handful of times in the comics.
Hands down one of my favorite villains of all time. Bravo!

The Riddler from the Batman seems to be very different from Riddler in the comics. I was never scared or intimidated by Riddler in the Arkham Games but he was more of a villain that challenged Batman’s mind and when Riddler loses he acts kind if like a child. The Riddler in the Batman seems to be more cold and calculated like someone who wouldn’t throw a tantrum when Batman beats him but immediately starts planning his next moves.
i just finished playing arkham knight and collected all the riddler trophies ..hate and rage flows in me...
I hope they combine that origin with bits from B"TAS Riddler origin, where he got cheated out of the rights to a hit video game and came after his former boss.

I remember in this one issue of Batman. The Riddler suffer from a blow on the head and he suffered from Amnesia. After that he ended up becoming a detective for a while. I don't exactly remember the name of that issue. But I still remember that one scenario.
