I just wanna say I've been watching this channel since 2014 (I was 11 now I'm 19) and you're the biggest reason to why I've become a such a huge comic book reader. I really appreciate the work you guys put into these videos and I wish you all more success :))).
Same here 👍
🤠
r/wholesome
Damn you too?
Batman has eight batcaves... he even has a mini Batcave also I love how he collects souvenirs from every bad guy he takes down
It would be cool if he had a toy dinosaur and a normal penny and joker card at each location. You know- to make it feel a bit more like home.
@@godofzombi that would be funny
How did he get the giant penny down there?!
I mean he would have to get a whole crew down there and somehow keep it secret.
This was sooooo cool and it is said Batman has actually more the 1 Batcave and not to mention he has multiple bases all around Gotham 👌
My favorite version of the Batcave would be from the 60’s / Adam West version because of the cool automatic costume change pole Bruce and Dick slides down as their entrance. In fact, I’m surprised it isn’t mentioned in this vid.
I always wondered how they changed...was there a platform halfway down where they stopped and put on their costumes real quick then continued sliding down ...? Lmao
I love what Nolan did by stating it’s origin, where it was used in the 1800’s to transport fugitive slaves as a part of the Underground Railroad . Explained to Bruce by Alfred.
Way late to the party but...Yeah man...I love that as well. Great comment.
@@stevenlane5018 thanks!
Do a video over DC universe locations. Gotham, Bludhaven, Metropolis, Central City, etc
I know it wasn't mention nor do I think anyone would count this version of The Cave, but I really liked the satellite Bat Cave in the video game, Batman Arkham Asylum. I thought it was cool how it's a suspended version of the original. Kinda adding to the persona of a bat. Not to mention, it came with the crime lab, a batwing, and it was so off in the cut that only Batman himself could've easily accessed it, given how many times his cave has been inflitrated. Still nothing beats the original though!
Love your channel, Arris!!!
The Batman was great
Maybe "good" but not great.
Batcave is awesome!!
Adam West Batcave Is Still One Of The Best
The two best things I love about the Bat Cave are the Giant Penny and The Robot T-Rex 🦖.
I love the sense of wonder we get. The trophies are always just there. Remnants of his golden age adventures. Best seen through the perspective of a young new recruit Robin.
Wow did you really come up with tgat opinion all on your own ive never heard anyone say that before oh thank you so much for sharing😑
Lillie: “Because of the Batcave it gave me the idea to have two of my own.“
Guess what they are filled with?
Honestly, don't want to know.
Bats?
My favorite is from 1989 movie. There is something special about the1st time you see something and sticks with you.
Adam west bat cave. Amazing how much stuf fhe could fit on such a small area.
That was fun! I always wondered how he got the Batcave built, like logistically speaking. How did he justify the work down there?? Was the electrician just like "Oh yeah, perfectly normal to be running this much power to the cave beneath the house."
Also, was this a union job? If not we need to talk to the site manager..
Your comment made me think of that cutaway gag from Family Guy: "They made a Lazy Susan for your nuclear-powered car."
The same way Gus Fring Built an undergraound meth lab in breaking bad/better call saul. Paying a lot of money to germans who do not know what the hell they are building or why or where.
@@ot4kon The batcave I feel would take a lot more man power and money than a drug lab.
@@extonjonas6820 he is a billionaire. A comic billionaire, only scrooge McDuck is richest. And it only needs to make some sense. It was made by alfred haha.
It’s simple really. Bruce Wayne did the same exact thing people like H.H. Holmes. He had contractors and construction workers work on the Bat Cave in sections. When one section was complete he would then get rid of the previous group of workers and then hire new ones. He would continue doing this until it’s completion.
For anyone who's seen The Batman recently and is confused as to where the batcave is in it.
Bruce stays at Wayne tower near the centre if Gotham city. There used to be a private rail road from Wayne manor to Wayne tower. It was private and used by Wayne enterprises staff. So basically the basement of Wayne tower is where Wayne station is. Only known by Alfred and Bruce.
We need a history of Thomas and Martha Wayne video!
history: they got shot
they were also involved in the court of owls or whatever
That could actually make a very interesting video, and you could do the Alternate versions of the Waynes'. Great idea!
@@jamaaldunbar324 How about in the other timeline where Thomas Wayne becomes Batman?
I love the Batcave I really enjoy seeing it when ever I see Batman
I wasn't expecting watching origin of a cave a cave
Love your comic and the channel Arris, thanks for always keeping people who don’t always have time to read comics to stay up to date and informed
Bruce is very smart. No one would ever think of using a cave.
‘Cept me
Except Bruce, Tony Stark (when he made his first armor), Oliver Queen, and numerous other characters cant think of rn lmao
@@shinotoruxinhai4712 I think he was being sarcastic
I was that kid thar got expelled from high school for smoking weed on my UA-cam channel.. now i smoke weed on my UA-cam channel for a living 🥶💚how times change..
@@mrbloodyhyphen-5657 ik lmao
I love the Arkham Origins Batcave, was pretty dope being able to explore it and see the cool Easter eggs, like the Asylum Batmobile.
I originally thought that the giant penny belongs to Two-Face. Huh.
In one of the retcons it did
Regular people: Ew. A bat cave.
Bruce Wayne: ...
I've always wonder how he got those trophies down there
Hey Arris, you should talk about old comic stories like Days of Future Past, the time Avengers tried to recruit Spider-Man, and the Clone Saga.
I honestly think that Arkham Origins had the best rendition of the Batcave to date. It’s simple, practical, realistic, and iconic. Obviously it’s a “Year One” kind of cave so not everything is in it yet but there’s tons of room to expand and make a trophy room, exit tunnel for the Batmobile, and a mooring but overall it’s got everything else. Batcomputer, Workshop, Medical facility, Training Grounds, 2 elevators to Wayne Manor, garage, Batwing landing pad, forensics lab, and a revolving case for all the Batsuits.
I am so grateful I found this channel back in 2011. It’s been the best thing for me to watch on UA-cam my dude!
Fair enough I agree
Personal favourite Batcave is the one from Batman Forever
Can you please do history of Alfred Pennyworth in your next video since he is one of the biggest characters from Batman comics?
Plz make more Batman vids
I was expecting you'd mention *B-rex* but its cool too.
I like the post Nomansland Batcave. The fact that the floor has fallen out and now Batman has had to rebuild it around that endless chasm with different levels.
My favorite Batcaves are Michael Keaton's from 1989 and 1992. Also, the Batcaves from Batman:
The Animated Series (1992-1995) and Batman Beyond (A.K.A. Batman of the Future, 1999-2001.)
🦇🦸🏻♂
Believe it or not, Schumacher's is one of mines.
Well, when you're smart and have money... you can turn a cave into a lair.
The Batcave is awesome I love it in comics movies animated and video games
“Origin of the batcave”
Bruce/Batman found it under his house and decorated it to make it look cool, origin story done lol 😂
Great Ep Mate. Love this one.
I'm surprised Iron Man doesn't have an Iron Cave.
Why would Iron Man need an Iron Cave when he has a Stark Tower?
He has start tower/ Avengers tower Avengers mansion, A dead celestial and some satellites. Do you need a cave after that.
I'd call it the Iron Chamber but it sounds like a sex dungeon lmao
@@1eyeddevil929 Or “The Forge”
@@keanuboyd7493 or the Armoury
Cat woman was also introduced outside comics, in the Adam West TV series she was a character made spesificlly for the show.
She would later be brought into the comics in the 90's after DC fully acquired the rights to the character, to complete with the sudden popularity of Felicia Hardey Black Cat.
Not really true
Amazing video.
Can you do history of Alfred Pennyworth, Batwing, Flame Bird, Batwoman, Azrael, Signal(Duke Thomas), Bluebird, Stephanie Brown and Carrie Kelly?
My favorite bit from the original Batman serial.... The costumes were kept in a file cabinet.
Jim Lee's Batcave is the best... The details are gorgeouslicious
If I could, I'd turn the Batcave into my Man-Cave.
I have been watching you guys since 2014 when i was 11 now i am 18 you guys are the coolest
Imagine Superman having a Super cave.
Well, he has his Fortress of Solitude in the Arctic
@@AifDaimon Bat-cave sounds so much cooler and waay less emo than "FoRtReSs Of SoLiTuDe"..... lol
@@KootenaiKing less emo yes less cool no
Can you do an episode on the Fortress of Solitude next
When are you going to do history of Marvel's Sandman and Kurt Conners the Lizard since they made a live action comeback in Spider-Man No Way Home along with the Elementals who were mentioned in Spider-Man Far From Home?
Finally Were Getting What's Been Well Overdue For Us All , & It's a Plus That We Getting Arris To Narrate/Demonstrate The BatCave In His Best As Usual , Thank You Variant Nation & Arris My Man Thank You Again .....You 2 Tim 😂😂😂 Well Appreciated From Your Guy Quann Representing The 410 Baltimore, MD , I'm a HUGE FAN Of You Guy's I've Been Watching Variant Since 2019 Bro , So Yes Please Keep Up The Great Work On The Channel I Love It 💙💯🏆🏆🏆👌🏾💙💙💙
I think batcave backstory is hands down the most underrated origin story in the bat family.
Please do more comic bases/HQs!
"Super-cave"? "Lantern-cave"? No, the BAT-cave.
Cave of solitude.
Arris Now if You Can Do History Of The Batcave? And There's No Reason Not To Do Alfred Pennyworth?
Namor was the first comic book character to fly
My favorite is the original bat cave
The Batcave that embodies everything that I think of as far as a Batcave is from Batman the Animated Series. It's dark with only pools of light lighting up certain parts. It's got the awesome retro -futuristic bat-computer. It's got the awesome art deco styling. It's got the best entrance/exit for the batmobile. It's mainly a huge cavern with stalagtites and stalagmites. It's got all of the depths and levels needed including the water at the bottom for the bat-boat. It's got the trophy room with the T-Rex, the giant penny and the giant Joker card (along with other trophies). It just comes across as so much more legit than the fully furnished headquarters that you typically see in the comic books. I wish that there was a breakdown dedicated to the Animated Series version of the Batcave.
never been a better batcave than the ones in the burton movies they just ooze atmosphere
The one in the 2004 Batman show was one of my favorites
When was the first time (comic or movie) that Wayne made his costume change while going down the pole to the Bat Cave?
*Lillie accidentally teleport into the Batcave with Nebby dress up as Harley Quinn because of past antics*
Batman: “Give me one reason why I shouldn’t imprison you right now…”
Lillie: “Because I look good…”
*She soon teleport away*
What do you think is the best thing about the Batcave like the giant penny, model T-Rex and the Joker card that we would want have our own in real life? Are you going to do origin of other Superheroes base of operations?
Maybe when superman gets a movie, if he ever gets another one.

I wish they had shown T-rex and the big Penny in THE Batman movie, sadly there were not any of those
@@dafaqu694 Its supposed to be. "Realistic" so i doubt we will ever see a giant penny or trex in this universe
@@extonjonas6820 I've never heard it being realistic like Nolan batman
But you know those batsuit is definitely not realistic, took a bomb, took a freaking hundreds of bullets
@@dafaqu694 Lol. I agree that batsuit is ridiculous. But yeah the director said its supposed to be a more grounded story. I think that it is kind of annoying considering we have already seen this story in the dark knight and it was great but whatever
Idea. History of Rhino.
Val Kilmers Batcave was my favorite LA. The Batcave in Batman vs Robin is my favorite overall.
Been watching since 2017 love this show
My favorite is the attic in Batman Gaslight. Simple and harder to discover. Larger the caves, easier to find by snoopers and explorers.
So is it one giant bat cave or does he have multiples? Is the batcave under arkham asylum Canon with the comics? Is it like a side batcave. Or non existent in the comics? Does it depend on which batman?
Can you look at The Origins of The Brain from Teen Titans\Doom Patrol🧠🤖
Cool
I really enjoy hearig about the Batcave.
I have that shirt awesome 👌
Ok if Batman has all those giant Trophies that he took back to his Batcave I don't see any place where he keeps his Bat-U-Haul.
Ok... i have questions.
How Bruce manage to transport all of that metal work and stuff like trex or the huge coin in secret so no body would know?
Did he have a crew like in btas he has a mechanic?
I mean it would be hard enough to transport all of that stuff without anyone notice but there is also the aspect of assembling all them platforms mainframe computers stairs and all that.. especially just for two people... of whom one is not the youngest...
Maybe Lucius fox has personal contractors to help bruce along the way. I mean Lucius is responsible for a good chunk of batman's equipment. It wasn't just bruce alone. Lucius was kind of like a secondary but also crucial brain to batman.
Minion
1:37 That's the pose that kids make when they are kept after school lol
Allstar barman had a nice spread for the batcave, I prefer the hush version as it had the cool mechanism for storing the various batmobile from the ceiling
I really can't say what my favorite bat cave is. All I have to say is the term man cave definitely came from the Batcave. I just wanted to throw that out
The one you want a print of in your office is my favorite
I'm surprised you didn't mention the 1960s Batcave on the Batman show with Adam West and Burr Ward.
I really hope we get a more classic version of the Batcave eventually with Battingson!
Fortress of Solitude
I can't wait for the Origins of the Batbelt
Can you please do a Goku vs Darkseid
That’s a very cool t-shirt you got on man👌🏾👌🏾
How did he make it without anyone snitching or him making it himself❓

Can you do history of the characters mentioned in this video?
Love your channel! Please do a soloman grundy video!
The fortress of solitude is more famous than the hall of justice.
I love you
I’ve always been curious about that trex
How come I never asked for this bit It's what I needed
And there are his pet bats
“The bats cave “ lol
Hello thank you so much for the great videos
In the greatest episode of the greatest cartoon we see a different origin for the penny
