Hearing Peppo say the word "Meowcenary" with all seriousness just puts a smile on my face XD
THANK YOU SO MUCH PLEASE MAKE THIS A SERIES i work to much and to have a walkthrough that i can use to base my build off it would be amazing and you make it very easy to follow
HR video is coming soon! Thanks for the feedback!
@@PeppoLS cant wait!
Great to see a useful starter guide!
Thanks for the video! This is very helpful to me cuz I did a huge leap, from Mhp 3rd to MH rise.
Q: How do you get through low rank?
A: With a longsword
The most useful tip I got from this is that you can climb a tree that leads to Cohoot
@PeppoLS
Even though it's over a year ago since you've made this video, just a quick question.
You mentioned Ranged Attack Up and Status Effect Up as best Palico / Palamute Skills, many ppl told me Knock Out King and Status Effect Up would be the most effective skills, was there a reason you mentioned these 2 Skills in particular?
Would love to get an answer, thanks in advance.
Thanks for your amazing Content
Meta simply changed. With Sunbreak many stuff got adjusted, including Palamute/Palico stuff ;)
@@PeppoLS I've seen that in Sunbreak you can change most of the things if not all of the Palico / Palamute Skills etc. But for the start, since I'm taking my time this playthrough, would you still recommend for pre Sunbreak these 2 Skills for Palicos?
Going to be a great video! This’ll be good for my Swaxe friend who is turning to the dark side...
oh wait.
We miss you 🥺 come back more often ❤️
Really nicely summarized 👌
Look I'm a big fan of longsword. It's the only weapon I'm competent in. But if any weapon in rise needs help getting a smooth start, longsword is not it. It wouldn't even be on the list. It's lubed up and ready to go with how smooth it is.
Probably one of the best weapon to get into mh games aside from SnS. This is what I used in my first playthrough.
Its still busted without quick sheath
For real, it's so powerful you just can use any LS with decent green sharpness and you're good to go, no need to upgrade for Low Rank.
I'm just dying inside knowing i need to grind for a long while before getting the third LS switch skill
6:00 Finished the game and never knew about the cahoot stash 😅
Same lol
Its been a 10 years i've never seen chameleos again n i miss him alot.

thank you peppo as allways amazing content keep it up ^^
i dont have any available add on for that palico you mentioned
YO 38 MINUTES EARLY IVE BEEN USING YOUR OPENINGS ON VELKHANA AND I RLLY WANNA KNOW HOW TO GET THE SAMURAI LS
I'm about to be a long sword demon
The best guide on youtube.
Hey, can i ask a question?
What do you mean by craft or upgrade 8 longswords
This is very helpful, i love your videos
I never knew drawn double slash could negate hits 😳
Yeah it has good s to it whenever your LS is sheathed and there's sudden attack or roar coming as you position yourself to the monster and bam. Just draw your sword with style. It also fills the spirit bar faster than the regular draw slash.
@@stephenjohn2131 Woooooaat I have 300h with LS in rise and did not knew it it just felt weird so I never used it.
@@qickdmgdombu1055 there are so many little nuances with each weapon that you learn from speedrunners like Peppo. He has not even started to explain any of them because this is a beginners guide but it will follow. I could write all of them here but thats a boring read just wait for his masterclass.
Hi Peppo! I started playing 3 days ago, on weapon crafting i got Defender LS, what LS you suggest i stick onto until i level up?
How to get through MH Rise in it's entirety with a longsword:
Easily
How to get through Low Rank with a Longsword:
STEP 1: Get a longsword
STEP 2: ????????????
STEP 3: Profit
Jokes aside, less than a day to go. HAPPY HUNTING!!
Awesome video 👍
We get the Black Belt armour and Defender weapons now so the mat farming for longswords/armour isn't that important for low rank except for getting the draw switch skill.
You mention needing a Toxic Kumori for a piece of armor, but not which one. Which one are you referring to?
Skalda Elytra. I'll explain it in my second part! Soon the HR video will be released, so stay tuned please!
@@PeppoLS Awesome. Definitely will.
It's a surprise tool that will help us later.
So for starters, Quick Sheath is more important than Critical Eye? I guess that makes sense
Absolutely. Quick Sheath is by far the best skill for Longsword.
Good and informative
Stop is mad man, he to powerful
Omg it releases today?????
greattt video
complimenti! ;)
how about build for early HR ?
"hOw DiD yOu gEt tHe gAmE eArLy" - people who didn't watch 20 sec in
Love the video, but I don't think I have the strength to refarm everything from my switch. I spent hours farming just just materials. Maybe I'll get the game when it will be on a good 50%+ sale.
Hey Peppo do you think i can use this guide on XBOX ?
For sure!
Well am here watching rise vid🤣 but yeah i only play fu and p3 🤣🤣
Peepo pls show ur camera settings
check the description bro
What is your oppinion on the switchskill that replaces Helmbreaker? (I forgot its name im sorry) personally i like it a lot, it has a very high dps rate and is a great mobility option in a pinch
Its alright, its not as good as helmbreaker tho. At least in my opinion its not that great - its good for afflicting status ailments and i think its good for elemental damage but thats really its only use. But even then your better off using helmbreaker due to its damage
A Golden Egg is needed to upgrade the Gargwa Hammer I believe so it's not useless*
As a strictly LS hunter this wouldn't matter tho
Oh it's actually a Steel and Silver Egg. If it gets an upgrade in Sunbreak tho it will probably need a Golden Egg
Sorry for the dumb question but, if i follow this tutorial, but i go for another weapon, it's still viable?
Good....
look like cut scene still in 30fps
Yes they are you are right about that.
Watched whole video and I decided to not rush in the game 😆 overwhelmed by many new things
can i move my MH Rise save files from switch to Steam deck?..
They should nerf longsword cringe to the ground
Imagine bothering in a pve game hahahah
So you don't need other palico types?
Well if you want you can always get all the palico types at level 50 but that's gonna take a lot. Put simply, the fight type is the one that helps the most in my experience, so it's just better to focus on him and leveòl him up as fast as possible.
@@PeppoLS Thank you. What combination do you recommend playing solo? I heard that people saying gathering type is pretty good too.
@@mpc2846 For both solo and multy I recommend the Fight type ;)
@@PeppoLS Thanks 😊 Double fight cat? Or 1 cat 1 dog
@@mpc2846 oh that's what you mean, well 1 palamute and 1 palico is the best choice for most of the times
Lmao, 3 minute magnamalo
youtube weird after i watch 4 men using this weapon to kill all monster with somekind of drug that can one shot everything
Go go for people who want to upgrade for PC version also good luck for another 1100 hours to reach Rank 999.. it's not for me man.. I m rank 999 and I don't need to take another 1110 hours on another hardware for rank 999 only because better fps and nice visual.. maybe I will get the PC version too, but only after ended Sunbreak on Nintendo Switch
Keep playing on switch then this is for the people that have a PC and not a switch
Exist
gj
Tye diff i see about rise switch and pc is juts the fps but visually nah still like switch
The View!!🤣
I still don't know why people like the Village-Guild divide. It's just the same monsters with no real differences between them, barring some slightly lower stats. At least it's not NEARLY as bad as GU. GU village was just this mass of filler bullshit for the entirety of LR and the worst part is that you absolutely had to play it because every single village upgrade was locked behind it. Want to immediately jump into multiplayer? Though luck, no upgrades for u.
I highly prefer Worlds system concerning that, making every monster have a one or two dedicated quests and havin investigations for grinding.
I think village quests are necessary for newcomers. But even if you know already the series, it's always good to make some practice with new gameplay additions like the Wirebug. It's like a solo tutorial to get ready for the feature challenges that await in the High Rank. I personally think Monster Hunter has the great advantage of being able to be played in both solo or multiplayer, and in both cases fully enjoy it. I played Monster Hunter for years in solo, and when I started to play with other hunters I liked it of course, but the solo experience is necessary first if you want to play with other people in my opinion.
hellooooo peppooooo
Hellooooo Soufiane Absiiiiiiiiiii
Hello Flooooow!
is there a pc version now like world?
It says it right there in the title
MH Rise In My Country cost 70$ for base edition wtf capcom
just get quick sheath 3, thats it.
How to get through Low Rank & High Rank with the most OP weapon in MH:Rise xDDDDD
nah bruh bow guns are busted in rise... on switch doing random endgame hunts 80% of people just cheezing with bowguns and stun locking monsters and dying in 2 mins its boring af. personally i dont understand those people where's the fun?
@@therealbalto24 yes, team hbg and lbg with the right skills are OP, safer and faster
@@abelortiz8093 its boring as hell imo there's no challenge its 100% cheese mode. like Ls is op but you still have to have good timing and some skill for it to be effective.
Tried MHworld. But the game is not for me, too complicated, too much options shown in the screen. Want to try this but watching your video gameplay is so toxic to me - I mean the game features.
