This is one of the most elegant fights you’ve put up. Primordial Malzeno’s move set seems to flow really well with the longsword play style.

Sure, malzeno was slayed today and well, I almost pissed in my pants, he went in the ultra rage mode and then it got weak, so i used a transpoder and then ran to the nearest sleep frog, just to wake him with a sacred release, dang that was tense, but surely beautiful and a cool fight (i felt a little heart attack when i counted his combo and he attacked 10 times in a sequence)
Yes he is, his attack timing was so great with ls but if you miss one attack, you fucked 😂😂
Meanwhile any slow weapon user:☠️ (died of old age waiting for malzeno to stop attacking)

WOW... that counter chain at the end when Malzeno is teleporting everywhere... Truly the most masterful longsword gameplay I've seen, especially being at 1HP the entire time

At 0:48 he knows exactly that the wing bash hitbox is not reached him, so he just stands and wait for the tail thrust... that so good :(
Reminds me of how I first stumbled on your channel. It was a Malzeno solo that I think you made back in Sunbreak's demo. I was new to the game and I still had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I thought "damn this is cool, I wanna do that"

Watching this again after I first encountered PMalzeno and got my ass whooped several times. I knew this was great, but I didn't knew that this was actually masterpiece created by god himself. And so this became my ultimate goal, the peak of what I could achieve as a Long Sword user. Thank you very much for this video!

This is my first time seeing the thunderdome after its buff (forget name of silkbind), but they really did just make it massive. It's about the size of 1/4th of the arena.

The "sad" part is that only LS or Bow or DB can do this, since countering of other weapons have bigger cast time. It looks cool tho

@@ferluisch I don’t think this is just limited to just those 3 or 4 though. I believe Sns, cb and gl all have ways to counter as well. Hammer and gs might even work as well although they’re a bit different

Your counter combos always surprise me, especially the double wing attack where you foresight + serene and land hit on its head accurately. Plus the way you counter all the opening combo in 2nd transformation.
Everytime I watch Peppo, I feel sorry for the monster. LS God

that game do be havin hard af soundtract for a card game simulator
sunbreak made the highest level of LS play feel like playing an MMO, in more or less of a good way if you like that kinda thing.
You're managing: Spirit Gauge charge, Spirit Gauge Blade, 3 individually charging spiritbug cooldowns, an AoE that increases the damage of some of your moves and has to be refreshed, 2 move sets, (sharpness too but not really) and then enemy attack patterns on top of it all.
You're a legend.
And your character is hot af btw 🔥

With the buffs to Harvest Moon is using Serene Pose more effective than Soaring Kick?
In this video, I think Peppo just can't find many opener for Soaring Kick -> Helmbreaker. So he went using Serene Pose and Tempered Spirit blade on red scroll, where he can spend the red gauge while countering attacks. It became counter-focused play style as it might be the most efficient against P. Malzeno
This run is outstanding. Congratulations.

That's Tempered Spirit Blade, it's a real fast instant counter that raises your meter by one level.

meanwhile im sweating my ass off while hunting this thing with minoto & hinoa to kill it in just about 25 min with almost all healing items possible used up.

Does anyone know why at 0:48 malzeno stopped so short with its wing bash? I’ve fought him many times, but he always goes all the way until he reaches me
miscalculated by AI, but that also a dangerous move since missed counter can sent you straight to that Tail Thrust (it happended to me once, counter Wing Bash but missed and was sent back to the camp by that tail 😅)

Man compare to this I am crap 😅. Great fight mate. I'm still struggling to beat prime malzeno. He's one of my fav monsters but man oh man he's brutal. Problem is I've only downloaded rise/sunbreak recently been ages since I've played so im getting used to it again. But yeah you smashed this. I main a switch axe and it can ve difficult sometimes lol.

Does this build rely on the low HP? Just wondering if this is doable in a general sense or if it's been centered around this Malzeno fight.
It does yes, due to dire draining your health and also resentment applying due to loss of HP will set attack to 15+ and etc
