- Today on Praska Boy's Garage I finish up the powder coating process on a TaoTao ATA110 Chinese ATV. I head over to Dan's shop Right Now Powder and he helps me get this project looking better than the brand new factory finish!

Little helpers are the best helpers!
That's Kobie my 3 year old and he enjoys the shop more than any of us! He is my big helper for sure, and the other 2 are defiantly my let's have fun and ride boys!
Dan is lit, with that painting!
Thumbs up to you brother. When you restore something, you really restore it. Quality work and the right frame of mind. Really enjoy your videos!
Thanks man I really appreciate that! Happy to have you as a sub!
Watching during Hurricane Elsa. Can't wait to see the engine rebuild.
Crazy man, hope everyone is safe! Thanks for watching!
Hi, i am from Romania, I started watching your channel yesterday while dissasembling a ACXA 110cc Quad (Mostly chinesse with another badge), and now it's the second day and i've watched all the video, inclusive this one. Your channel made my work 300% easier. Thanks a lot for the help and knowdlege. A great channel.
I wish i had powder coating shop around my town cause the quality on the powder coating is amazing.
Thanks you so much Romania! Welcome to the channel my friend. Happy I was able to help with your project!
Hey man I love the vids bro, please keep them coming❤️
Thanks! Will do!
YES!!! Part 3
I knew you wanted to see this one! Thanks Tom!
Love IT!
Thank You! Super happy with how it turned out!
How did I miss the notification for this?! Awesome content and video production!
Lol, Thanks! I'm trying to post every 10 days +or- that way you guys aren't waiting months at a time for my new projects.
Little man said "bombs away" before he launched that spring into the truck haha!! Quad looks good so far, it crazy how that powder coat goes on in a flat color and comes out nice and shiny!!!
Lol, I didn't even need to turn around! I should have known my 3 year old would have literally thrown it in! Had to slow down the time laps for that one!
That's going to look great all together, and I have to say, your little man is adorable, especially when he lifted the "heavy" bar up over his head. #raisedright
That's Kobie! He is our 3rd boy, and probably the biggest helper in the shop!
Ronald McDonald is going to love his new McDonalds Paint Themed ATV ... lol 🤟🇨🇦
Nice👍
Thanks ✌
i like it
Thank You!
Bro when you mentioned Caseys I was like this dudes gotta be from Iowa lmao
If your from Iowa and ever been to Iowa you'll understand what I meant! Everyone else will be confused!
I know what you mean by Casey's and I dont enen live anywhere near Iowa
You should do more restorations... I love it
That's my goal! I've done so many chinese atvs now...What should we do next?
@@PraskaBoysGarage It doesn't matter what are you repairing... Atv, dirt bikes, all...
Awesome work !! Ur vids are literally inspirational, I bought two mini ATVs for $50 and started watching your channel before I touched them , now I have the 50cc striped down to the frame ready for paint ( btw what’s the easiest way to remove the stock paint without a sandblaster? ) and a big bore kit on the way ! Also will u be doing a entire engine rebuild crank case and all ? that would be vary good info for your fan base
Oh and one more question is it possible to find replacement bushings for the shock mounts ?
Thank you! I'm happy I can help you with your rebuild! You'll have to follow up with me and let me know how the big bore kit works out! Easiest way to remove paint without a sandblaster would be to use wire brushes for an angle grinder. The next video coming out will include a top end rebuild only. In a future video I will be doing a full step by step for rebuilding a motor. Those videos take a lot of time and right now my main focus it to get this one completed!! Lastly check out VMC Chinese parts they carry all of the bushings on their website.
pink in air
What tires are those? Not sure what size I have and like those
When do we get part 4? Can''t wait to see it.
I'll be in the shop the next couple of nights to finish up part 4. Hoping to drop this Friday!
Hey love your show,
I rebuild those chinese atv as well. Can you tell me where you got your engine stand that is on your work bench?
Thanks man! That is the #1 most asked question on my channel and I am expecting it to come up a lot from this video! I originally purchased the stand off eBay back in 2018, however the seller is hit and miss when they are listed. So I've decided to start working on manufacturing my own! Might be a little bit but once I'm ready I will be making a video for the launch!
Nice job man looks gpod so far. An i have the same engine in my dirtbike lol so my bike has reverse an its pretty cool tbh. But i like the colors you picked out. I think itll be worth it if not money wise youtube view wise. Im a new sub so it might even be for ur son so I think itll pay off either way.
Thanks Ronnie, I'm glad you liked it! The money spent is going to start pilling up soon so we will see how it all ends up!
In addition to the china 90 I have a Yamaha 225 I had it bored oversize put in a Wisco 10-1piston comp cam and head work maby I should have it ported. What size carb should I put on it what exhaust can you advise your vidios are tops as you can see I'm new at this. I also have 1978 honda 500 motorcycle with only 6k on it but was left outside I the Mojave sun for 25 yrs. No rust just weathered needs tach, throttle and gas lock paint ect eventually want more power out of it need help there too. Keep it up BJ your the man so is your son
Thanks again for the kind words bill! When it comes to name brand powersports I stick with OEM parts the best I can. If I'm in your shoes I would use the stock carb and purchase a jet kit for it and play with the sizes to get the best result. Port and polish of the head makes it look nice but honestly you probably wont notice a difference. Unless you plan to race it competitively, I wouldn't do it. That's just my opinion anyway.
Powder coat looks awesome! Just wondering why you didn't powder coat the engine like you did for the white on awhile back?? Its gonna look amazing, can't wait for the next video.
Thank you! Rebuilding the motor is happening next but I wont be powder coating it. That took me more than 20 shop hours to complete and I want to keep posting about every 10 days. It would just take way too long! But I promise the motor is getting a rebuild and a fresh look soon!
How long for next video mate? Loving it👌👌👌
Just a couple more days David! Going to be a few late nights, but I'll get it done!
@@PraskaBoysGarage top man
Can't wait ✋👍👍
Looks good, rims need some yellow accent and the rest is fire!
I actually love that idea!!! If I can swing it maybe I'll fire up the eastwood gun and do the bolt heads in yellow. If I do you'll get that shout out for sure!
@@PraskaBoysGarage right on!
I have an upside down KX125 chopper if you get the urge to check it out😁😉🙃
I Need You Help! I been Watching You videos, & decided to buy one atv but i dont know the model. I am missing the starter, its mounted on the bottom do they use the same as the one on the top?
The top vs bottom starters are different. Here is the link for available starters on VMCs website. If your not 100% sure which one to order send me an email with some pictures of your atv and I can help you out. www.vmcchineseparts.com/collections/chinese-atv-starters
Looking the Nuts my pedigree chum 👌👌👌👌 and yes it looked pink 🤣
Thanks David! I knew you would have my back on the pink, but it turned out perfect!
@@PraskaBoysGarage yes mate looking Cracking 👍👍👍
Where did you get the mount to put your engines on
I purchased the stand off eBay a few years ago now. The seller is hot and cold for posting them but I know he makes them. The stand gets so much attention on my channel so I think it's time I look into making them for myself! I paid around $120 plus shipping I believe.
Will you make a 150cc roketa video! I need some help
If I can find a good deal on one, you bet!
Can you make a video on remote starter kit for ATV
I'm am not a fan of the remote starters. I actually remove them because they are just known for going bad and causing problems. If I come across one thats better quality then I might, but for now it's straight delete for me.
@@PraskaBoysGarage 👍😃
Hiii i have the same atv brand like yours, she was stock abt 3 yrs and i can't fix it i think the problem is the wire harness and the motor starter. Its hard find the parts, and can i ask the link of the website where did you buy the parts please thankyouuuu!! Btw im a filipino
The website I used is www.vmcchineseparts.com/ and they are based out of Illinois. If they don't have what your looking for a search eBay or Amazon. Good luck on your project and thanks for watching!
Powder looks great. Have a question I have a Suzuki 250 where is the best place or site to find parts ?
ronnie's parts
Thank You! www.partzilla.com/ Is a great source for parts. Plus they have detailed parts images to make sure your getting the right one. Otherwise I stick with eBay and Amazon!
Never used Ronnie's parts before. I just checked them out! Pretty good place for OEM?
@@PraskaBoysGarage Ronnie's Parts is for OEM ! they have the microfiche and everything ! Even Partzilla goes on Ronnie's
Love your vids. My comments aren't working for some reason.
I got this comment! Thanks for watching!
@@PraskaBoysGarage Hey BJ, What’s your thoughts on the Quad situation in Australia at the moment? All the Japanese companies have pulled out of the market due to new safety requirement laws. It's almost impossible to get your hands on a Quad now, even Chinese or second hand ones. Not to mention they cost more than my car... Any suggestions? Do you see other countries following in the future? or do you think Australia will relax the laws eventually? (I don't) Maybe worth making just a quick video on Cheers!
Hello, nice video! I have a question, which are the best 3 brands of pitbike i can buy over durability/performance 125/140cc
That will depend on your price point. Whats your budget? Me personally, if we are riding 2 stroke I prefer a KTM.
My budget Is 1000€, i mean a 140cc chinese pitbike, im Stuck with the kayo one cuz they say is good but, which One would u suggest to me?
@@justlikeak2815 I would stick with either SSR or Apollo. If your buying brand new make sure that the first modification you do is change out the carb for a 22mm Mikuni! Performance difference is huge!
@@PraskaBoysGarage rlly? There is a pitbike called Zeus and has this 22m mikuni carb but idk why It cost less than kayo..btw thx!
Dude! Where's Part 4?
Who would have guessed an Iowa Hurricane! Plans drastically changed this week but we are finally back to normal. It will be live Tomorrow morning at 8am (CT) all editing is done and ready to load. *pending internet doesn't let me down!
What model is that?
It is a Tao Tao ATA110 Atv. It's not as popular as most of them but I do see them come up for sale often.
Hey what's up BJ, you do a great job on all these rebuilds, but all this work for a Chinese atv? why don't you pick some small old classics that can be worth so much $$$ (like a 1972 Z50 or 1972 CT70H).
Chinese Atvs are a big part of power sports because of the price point, but I felt like there was just a big lack of good information available. Outside of UA-cam I have done tons of other projects. I'm a big fan of Kitty Cat snowmobiles, Puch mopeds, ATC Honda 3 wheelers, and much more. I have a few more Chinese videos I want to do on the list, and then I will start to transition into some name brands and classics!
Thanks for your reply,, Love watching your nice work, looking forward to your future videos.
13:49 do me a salad
it was pink
I agree! Thanks for being on my side!
I bought a china baha 90cc. mfg 2006 in excellent condition but needs the left hydraulic brake system repaired I cant locate a repair book can anyone help me to locate one I got the quad for my wife but she passed away on 9-11-20 she only road it one time
Hey bill I have your email. I will send you the owners manual I have. It isn't for your exact ATV but it will be very similar to what your looking for.
You had me til you said Cyclone Country.
I knew you wouldn't be thrilled but at least I didn't say it was a Cardinals theme right?
Be better restoration an ltr 450.... More profit......
The motor is to small to be worth it .
If you could swap it out what would you put in? 125cc? Keep in mind this is going to be for a 7 year old!
Praska Boy's Garage Man id like to see you make a name brand four wheeler nice That you can ride that would be sick
looks pink must lose color in the video
It was definitely pink! Still turned out perfect!
