Sheet of gasket material and a couple dull hole saws with knife edged for applications like this work pretty good. I always have dull hole bits so I gave this a try and works good enough to get me by until I can make an order.

I feel ya on the herniated discs, I messed up L3 through L5 doing heavy squats. So much for exercise being healthy. That was 15 years ago and I am down this week after seeing a Kohler Command Riding Tractor about to get picked up by the scrap guy so I ran down to my neighbors and drug it home with my belt. On flat tires and a frozen drive wheel. Pretty stupid. Do whatever it take and however long to baby that injury or its a life changing event for the worse.

You should have also put a inline fuel filter on unless there's already a filter in the tank

I hope that you continue the series on upcycling chinese powersports. I think there is a nice niche there since the cost difference between new chinese and new japanese is so much. I think some folks would pay near new chinese prices for a used and restored quad that has been uprated to a far better spec. I will find out when I am done wiring my $25 Coolster 3050C. I am probably not going to buy the inclusive electric kit even though its price point is attractive, its still less than OEM quality junk. If I can get better components for around 100 bucks total then I can live with that. Will be using automotive wire as well...thanks for the inspiration! I almost wish I had not chopped the frame on the Linhai 260 that I bought to make it into a powered cart...oh well lol.

I am late getting to this video but it looks good, it’ll be ridden by little kids, I wouldn’t have put too much effort into paint either. I have been thinking about picking one of these up for grand kids but being in Arkansas you can imagine there ain’t many sleds come up for sale here. What is your opinion on engine quality? I see a lot of people putting predators in these.
