I highly recommend these serums. :D Ive been using LRP VItamin C in the morning and Retinol B3 in the evening for about 3-4 months and my skin looks so much better! it helped me tons with hormonal acne, my pores are smaller and my skin is soft and smooth. I use serums as a second step in my routine between cleansing (Effaclar gel) and moisturising (Cerave SPF 25 moisturiser in the AM, and Effaclar H isobiome moisturiser in the evening).
I’m using La Roche Posay vitamin c serum before bedtime and in the morning with sunscreen spf 50, it helps ligthen my dark spots. I love those products
LRP vit c has higher PH than the PH that’s suitable to be absorbed through the skin ..also it’s 10% ..to get best results of vit c try 15-20% with low PH
My fave serum is hyaluronic acid - that's for sure. Although I use it religiously, retinol feels like a BMW M3 for me. Great performance but proceed with care. Vitamin C is like my old best friend - treat her well and she will remain a gift that keeps on giving. Thank you, Dr Daniel. A very informative YT vlog!
I just started using the Vit C serum and can already see results. I use it in the morning followed by the La Roche-Posay Double Face moisturizer and the combo is working out really well for me.
@@gergana8210 I keep my serum in a small refrigerator. It keeps it from oxidizing quickly. I’m still using the LRP double face moisturizer. Still liking the results.
I just tried the La Roche-Posay hyaluronic acid and it was instant love. It glides on easily, absorbs quickly and made my skin feel super soft. I like it much more than Vichy 89 and The Ordinary (hyaluronic acid + b5). I've been following you for awhile and this my first purchase based on your recommendation. Thank you!
I had a really bad rash on my neck to the point where my skin started to create cracks 🤧 I used Vit C serum and it did wonders. Healed my rash within 2-3 days. Amazing

Hi I have been so confused as to what to use on my skin for years. I have just bought the little box of all 3 of these, I am enjoying using them and will stick with using this brand,,, Thankyou for your simple yet formative video
Girls, I use Monsia's Perfect 10 a lot, it's essential for cleansing oily residue and removing makeup, the best thing is how soft and moisturized it leaves your skin. I wouldn't change it for anything, I recommend them💗👋🏼
The La Roche Posay B5 serum is not a concern just because of the tiny amount of fragrance - it's because denatured alcohol is the third (!) ingredient on the list - and it costs us a bomb for a bunch of ingredients that are worth probably $3. The Ordinary's panthenol/hyaluronic serum is a better ingredient list for a fifth of the price. It just seems that dermatologists are usually on the back foot with skincare - except for Shah/Maxwell, who seem to know their stuff.
The Ordinary one peels off after applying makeup so stopped using it before makeup 😢 I prefer LRP one since it never peels off & it saves my dry skin 🙌
Alcohol helps to penetrate the product deep into the skin. If you don’t like it just get a different one. Yes it can be drying and irritating for some people.Using any moisturizer will probably fix this.
Thank you for helping me wade through the enormous world of skincare products. You are a lifesaver! I have been frustrated for years trying to find the right routine for my skin which has changed from oily to combination with the onset of menopause. As a young adult I had cystic acne. The treatment was awful but got rid of it. Since then I have been on a mission to heal my skin and find a sustainable regimen. The recent change only deepened my frustration since my skin will act like it’s 17 at times but it is a different texture and susceptible to scarring and damage at 55. I watched your video using Cera Ve and LRP for AM/PM routines. I finally understand what the ingredients are supposed to do and when to apply them. I can’t thank you enough! 😊🙏🏼

Dr. Sugai have you reviewed the Ordinary products? They are so much cheaper, I wondered if they are good products. Thank you for the information about the how and when of using these products.
I have been using the LRP Vitamin C and B3 Retinol for a few months now. I have combo skin and struggle with sebaceous filaments. I usually slug with CeraVe ointment or just use CeraVe Cream over it at night. I typically alternate them each night. I really like how clean my face looks after using the Vitamin C serum. The Salicylic Acid keeps my pores nice and clear, and helps to exfoliate. I wouldn't say my skin looks more 'radiant', but maybe a bit brighter and even appearing. The B3 Retinol is very nice. This has helped to reduce fine lines and has made my skin tone look more even, but also I no longer have issues with Sebaceous filaments. I will say, both of these are too strongly scented. I have the Hyaluronic Acid serum as well, but it actually irritates my skin. It also makes my skin feel too sticky and looks too dewey. I may be picky, but I am certainly disappointed with it.
Thanks so much for educating us! I have a follow up question regarding the Retinol. Currently, I add it at night: 1. Cleans & May Coop Raw Sauce 2. Hyaluronic acid (la roche) 3. Retinol (la roche) 4. Moisturizer So, my question: are my steps ok or should I not use the Hyaluronic & Retinol together?

Hi Doctor Daniel! If your serum oxidizes is it still safe to use it? and is Vitamin C of to use everyday?
Useful content!! Thank you ❤
How about the LRP niancinamide 10? Can I mix it with retinol? Or better use it in the morning then retinol at night?
I use tretinoin Obagi at night time
and mornings niacinamide 10 with toleriane double repair moisturizer from La Roche Posay ( the moisturizer has 30 %sunscreen) or Athelios ( tinted mineral 50% sunscreen)
LA ROCHE-POSAY PURE VITAMIN C10 serum with vitamin C also stimulate collagen?
I’ve used all 3 serums for about 6 months for dark spots caused from melasma and anti aging of course just turning 40yrs old.Should I switch it up and try something new?
I love this brand!
