One major thing Ive heard is people say it burns their skin. The reason is that serums like hyaluronic acid absorb 3000x their weight in water so if you put it on dry skin it sucks the moisture out of the deeper layers of skin. Put it on damp skin and if it dries very quickly spray your face with water, wait, do it again until it stops feeling tight and takes a while to dry. I had this problem until I read that drier climates will do this, whereas more humid ones will get the extra moisture needed from the air I hope this helps anyone reading
Ng nkita ko to bngo ko skin routin ko hilamos tapos serum and moisturizer wala png isang buwan mlki ngbgo kuminis at mlambot mukha ko.low maintenance product lng pero npkalaki ng pgbbgo.thank you.
Nasobrahan naman saken susmio. Kaya pala walang pagbabago. Murad pa naman at body shop pagkamahal mahal. Il try ordinary since asa US na ako ubusin ko lang ang gamit ko sayang eh
4/5 but I been trying baking soda once a week as a gentle exfoliate. Morning: water splash, vitamin c serum, spf moisturizer Night: double cleanse- oil cleanse eye makeup remover, dove soap bar, retinol serum, collagen moisturizer, castor oil on lips and eye area.
I have hyperpigmintation dark spots on my face. CLEAN, TREAT, PROTECT Morning; *I wash my face using hydrating cleanser *Vitamin C with backuchiol *face moisturiser with spf30 *Sunscreen with zinc oxide spf50 or tinted sunscreen spf50 with titanium dioxide. *At night I wash my face with cleanser *Super serum niacimide *moisturiser night cream
I use both Vitamin C, Retinol and Niacinamide at night before bed and in the morning, I only use Hyaluronic acid serum. Both times, I am cleansing my face before applying serums, but since I wash my face in a cleansing face wash containing Salicylic acid in the morning, I do not want to add retinol after a salicylic wash and also, vitamin C (and also Retinol) makes the skin prone to sun damage during daytime. Vitamin C and Niacinamide enhances each other, so they are great to combine. Hence, I use all the vitamin serums (3 serums) at night and the hyaluronic acid serum for moisture in the morning after a salicylic face wash. The order is always Vitamin C first, then Retinol and then Niacinamide (the last to have the same consistency). Niacinamide applied last to calm down any potential irritation.
5/5. I have acne pron skin, i use a face wash with salicylic acid then a niacinimide serum then moisturiser then sunscreen. At night include a under eye cream and Vaseline. I recently started to use to toner and iam about to include a Salycilic acid serum as well. My fav product is my niacinimide serum bcuz my skin got a lot better after using it.
I got 4/5! AM: water cleanse + spf moisturiser PM: double cleanse + alpha arbutin + niacinamide + azalea acid + moisturiser. So I am using too many things in the evening!
I scored 0/5 and I'm so proud of myself because I'm a complete newbie (started my skincare routine less than 2 weeks ago). I use a mild salicylic acid wash, exfoliate with glycolic acid 5% every other day and only serum I use so far is vitamin C
Vitamin C serums are mostly BS cause they can't get in your skin so basically they are useless unless you put a good budget for expensive brands that have used special tech to improve their formula so it can enter your skin tissue and actually work.
Thanks for your explanation. I used vitamin C, Alpha arbutin and hyaluronic acid serums every other day but my t-point is brighter than my face I don't apply the serum on my t point but is still brighter and I used olay collagen peptide as my face cream
I use vitamin C, hyaluronic acid in the morning then moisturizer. In the evening I use hyaluronic acid every night then retinol every other day then moisturize. Once a week on the nights that I don’t use retinol I use lactic acid.
Dr. Thanks for the very informative video. Please make also a video on morning and nightime skin care routine for melasma and product recommendations. Thanks and more God bless you.😊
Cos de baha lactic acid and cos de baha snail mucin is what I use. Anything from that brand is AMAZING. I get it on Amazon but haven't looked elsewhere. Their Vitamin C is amazing, too.
I use my serums 1st, then my tretinoin, hydroquinone, moisturizer.. I have about 4 different serums. I add them 1 at a time, wait 15 minutes and proceed with the other's.. I love serums.. my face look so moisturized after using them
Mine, I am seeing result for almost 2 months now when I started using it, I am using Salicylic acid, niacinamide and vit c, sunblock when going out and I can see good result, specially with my pimples, its gradually removed.
I use a serum for sensitive skin, it has prebiotics, hylauronic acid and rose water in it! I’m very new to the whole thing though, I’ve only used it twice and I’m not exactly sure what exactly it’s supposed to do, but anything that might help my skin is good, haha 😆 So far I’ve only committed the rubbing sin!
Good Night Sir , I use vitamin C serum with vitamin E and Ferulic acid in morning .In night retinol serum and anti-aging retinol cream (Eveline products made by Poland)
I started last month and i actually scored full. I use only niacinamide serum in daytime and niacinamide+retinol at night. I was going to use vitamin c serum but in another shorts of this channel I got to know that I should not use vitamin c if I have acne problem and should go with niacinamide+salicylic acid instead. Turns out it really works for me. So right now i have the following routine and since I am new to the whole skin care routine please correct me if using wrong ingredients or order. Daytime: rose water toner + niacinamide serum + aloe Vera gel + sunscreen spf30 Nightime: rose water/salicylic acid (twice a week) + niacinamide serum + retinol + aloe Vera gel.
Numbuzin no 3....( just started 10 days back but i feel its causing me to break out so gave a break and decided to use once a week if it can work well)..though it is making me glow and heal when comparing non acne skin area before and after.. i use it in my am routine and innisfree retinol cica repair ampuole. This one is very nice n really controls acne well. I use as night routine 2-3 times a week. I suffer from hormonal acne.
I have heard and read a lot of times that you should not exfoliate face skin daily. I do it once a week and use serum every day at night, but not every day in the morning, only when I am going to stay at home.
1/5 . Sometimes I forget to be gentle and rub the serum too strongly on my face , which does cause a lot of it to just stay on my palms , having the opposite effect to what I'm trying to achieve.
I have oily and acne prone skin. Morning routine is? Salicylic acid facial cleanser Naicinamaid serum by ordinary Cosrx moisturiser and Cosrx sunblock Night-time routine is? Salysilic acid cleanser Glycolic toner and cosrx snail mucin Is this the right way to use or I did it wrong? Hope u can response 🙂 I always watching ur vedios doctor Skynfyx❤

Hello Dctr..thank u for your video...I use Vit C, Retinol and niacinamide separately on different days...using for two months ..cannot see any diff....abit disappointed but will continue..
I’ve run the gamut of skin products and still have acne at age 41. I’ve had acne since I was 4. Everything makes my skin either more shiny, more broken out, or so dry it breaks and burns. In between trying things, I either just use water or I use African black soap without anything extra in it. Yes, I’ve tried organic, prescribed, and old school products too. I’ve always had body acne as well even on my legs and arms. It’s frustrating. The one time I saw clear skin, I stopped drinking coffee for a few months, slept on a clean towel, used African black soap (if I remember correctly), and used clove water in my hair. My skin was clear and smooth for maybe a week. Then I think it switched to oily like I’d washed it with butter. I’ve also noticed my skin seems to change personality when the seasons change from cold to hot. New thing, though: my body acne has significantly decreased. I started using Native body wash in baby powder scent. I just bought their sensitive skin cleanser and moisturizer and will order the serum soon to see if my face likes Native. It’s unfortunate if this line works because I don’t think anybody local carries the serum anymore. I’ve never tried a serum. Fingers crossed 🤞
O/5! I’ve made none of these mistakes so far! Thanks! I’m using niacid at the moment. My second bottle, I’m praying this stuff works!! I have all my hopes in this tiny little bottle. I guess I’m about 2-3 months in, I do notice a difference in the softness of my skin, for scarring I’m not quite sure yet, some improvement, but I’m not giving up yet, I see enough promise I want to keep going. Thanks for this video! I love kitties! And this was VERY helpful!
Ah! I was wrong! 1/5 too! I also rubbed in the beginning of use, then learned the correct parting way. Damn. 1/5. I didn’t deserve that kitty pic after all. 😂
5/5. My a.m. serums are a vitamin C & niacinamide combo serum & then my SkinCeuticals C&E ferulic. I use retinol and hyaluronic acid serums in my p.m routine.
I recently watched your toner video. So if I understand correctly this should be my routine: cleanse, toner, serums (no more than 2), then moisturize. My concern is my toner is TonyMoly 's Ceramide Mochi Toner which is moisturizing. Can I use serums after this?
I'm consentrating on treating dark spots with moisturized & hydrated skin so, Is using the kojic & niacinamide and then lock with hyaluronic acid is perfect?? am I on right way👍🏻
hello! does gentle exfoliaters work? i use the Axis Y PHA resurfacing glow peel and Axis Y Mugwort pore clarifying wash off pack as exfoliaters. then after washing them off, i use The Ordinary alpha arbutin & niacinamide as serums so does gently exfoliating helps with serum absorption? (my concern is PIH and acne scars)
I love the bonus at the end of VDO much❤ Btw, retinol is also SERUM, isn't it? So, I'm 31 yrs now, I need retinol l, then there's only one place for serum, is that right?
I'm rubbing it in too hard, definitely, but it is still delivering results, I have to try tapping. I would like to hear your opinion on foreo iris serum - it works great for me, but maybe you'll have some tips and tricks
I use cosrx 96% snail musin, the ordinary 2% salicylic acid serum (thrice a week), Axis-Y 5% niacinamid serum (the others day)..... Which product should I use first on my skin?
What to be used first hyaluronic acid or vitamin c, i've been applying hyaluronic and vita c but some says active ingredients like vitamin c should be used first
4/5. I used the wrong exfoliant for my skin. I had combination skin and used Salicylic acid serum for it but now I just began Glycolic acid serum a week ago because my biggest concern is texture and hyperpigmentation. Unfortunately I can't find a good glycolic acid toner for now so let's see how my skin is with this serum, hopefully will find a good toner soon! Also I use Vitaminc and niacinamide serum in the morning and switch between glycolic acid serum and salicylic serum in the nightime followed by mixing my nightcream with a drop of hyaluronic acid when my skin feels dry or dehydrated
My skin become dark after I applied vitamin c serum in night without any other things on the face. could u please advise how to get rid of darkness caused ? Thanks for advice the right way of using.
my only mistake was rubbing the serum to my skin. I just started last month and I’ve been pretty consistent hence saw some good results. I only use pond’s serum which removed the unevenness of my skin and dark spots.
I have started using vit C serum in day time and retinol once a week .Before moisturising. But i have noticed that after vit c serum application i feel a little irritated for sometime on certain areas of my face like cheekbones. Pls suggest a solution. I will be grateful to you. 🙂
My GF is Has-( Centella Ampoule, The vitamin C, Mixsoon bean essence, Anua deep cleansing foam, Anua NIACINAMIDE 10%+TXA 4%) and isnt sure what order to use them in.
Hi..I am using this in order: Daytime - vit c, niacinimide, hyaluronic acid, sunscreen Nightime - niacinimide, retinol, hayaluronic acid (night cream) Is this correct. I can say my skin improved a lot. However, I am asking if I need to change something in order to maximize more of the result. TIA.
Does snail baba counts as a serum? (Corsx snail advanced mucin) I understand that this is an essence and goes right after tone. Is it that right? Thanks:)
At the moment I'm using hyaluronic acid follows niacinamide serum with 10% concentration and vitamin C with 15% concentration after serums i followed up with moisturizer then facial oil and sunscreen. So Dr am I using it correctly or not ? If not so please suggest me how to use it correctly
I just acne(Whiteheades)on my around nose and chin.... So should I can you two serum at same time..... Salicylic acid serum around nose and chin and other kojic acid serum on other place of face ???
I use niacinamide serum currently, as with the video you have released about niacinamide, it really does help with the inflammation of my pimples and helps with the texfure of my skin, thank you🇵🇭
Well, i do rub my serum but not that hot rub. Some of my serums are very runny so i need to rub it with the tip of my 3 fingers before i pat it till half dry then leave it air dry. Idk if this still categorized as rubbing or not but i'll try the patting method for the rest of the week then i can decide wheter it works better or not.
Mistake #3 for me! I will start patting instead. Morning Routine in order: Shiseido Softener Treatment (enriched), hyper! Hyper Even Brightening Dark Spot Vitamin C Serum, Glow Recipe Watermelon Niacinamide Dew Drops, Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Resist24 Day Emulsion SPF 18, Dr. Wu Hyalucomplex Extreme Hydrating Cream, then Shiseido Ultimune Eye Night Routine: Shiseido Softener Treatment (enriched), Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate III, Glow Recipe Watermelon Niacinamide Dew Drops, Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream, then Shiseido Ultimune Eye *Sometimes I use the Acnes Point Clear rollerball for acne I have dry skin and still get acne at times. Do you have a suggestion for affordable products with lactic acid? Tatcha and Shiseido are already $$$, but they've helped in the past! However, I've been using the Shiseido softener and Ultimune power infusing concentrate for the past 5-6 years and I feel that the Ultimune no longer makes my skin feel moisturized?
I want to know if we can use niacinamide and salicylic acid serums from ordinary together and how to use them i have dry skin and acne only on my forehead

Thx!!
Didn’t get it
I am glad I watched your video today. I have purchased the 1st set serums and after watching this, I shall follow as per your guidance.
I scored 5/5, no wonder as i have been following this subject for years. Consistency is key indeed.
I use cerave acne control cleanser + the ordinary salicylic acid for oily acne filled face, hope this helps anyone

I use Vit C and Niacinamide and moisturizer Spf in the mornings and Vitamin C and vit c and retinol and moisturizer in the evening.
Yes countinu
I was doing this wrong.... Rubbing serum like moisturiser instead of patting. Thanks for informing me

I just realized that i didn't have to comment abt my whole routine 🥲
Your routine seems similar to mine as I just started out 😊
What's the order of products did u use
is it necessary to use moisturiser after using serum at night?
I got 4/5!

I definitely commit the number one ☝🏽 mistake. I Will be starting accutane next week and will have to do better regarding consistency.
none, not knowledgeable about this, thanks for making this video, its really helpful
I’m using Niacinamide and vit C in the day. For the evening I used retinol and some time ascorbic acid. I score 4/5
Ascorbic acid and vit. C are the same in case you didn't know.
Cos de baha lactic acid and cos de baha snail mucin is what I use. Anything from that brand is AMAZING. I get it on Amazon but haven't looked elsewhere. Their Vitamin C is amazing, too.
I used 4 serum in 1 sitting but I glow so much!

I have heard and read a lot of times that you should not exfoliate face skin daily. I do it once a week and use serum every day at night, but not every day in the morning, only when I am going to stay at home.
I used cerave retinol at night,la roche posay acne treatment at morning.i hope it works i will observe the result in 2mos.consistency is the key.
1/5 . Sometimes I forget to be gentle and rub the serum too strongly on my face , which does cause a lot of it to just stay on my palms , having the opposite effect to what I'm trying to achieve.
You are not only clever but have a very good sense of humor 😂 And here's the picture of a cat 😂
5/5 🎉 and I am using pure "kumkumadi tailum" by kamdhenu laboratories as my serum and I use Divya patanjali rose water as my toner .
Niacinamide and bakuchiol every morning ❤

O/5! I’ve made none of these mistakes so far! Thanks! I’m using niacid at the moment. My second bottle, I’m praying this stuff works!! I have all my hopes in this tiny little bottle. Use patting ya
Ah! I was wrong! 1/5 too! I also rubbed in the beginning of use, then learned the correct parting way. Damn. 1/5. I didn’t deserve that kitty pic after all. 😂
Same here
He said patt not rub
Me too
I'm using cereve vitamin c first then timeless matrixyl 3000 then mad Hippie ultra sheer spf 40.
Dear thankx for your video , but i want to use vitamin C serum plus triple action acne treatment cetaphil , before moisturize ration is it safe ?
Thanks Doc. I use Dr. Rachel face serum. 4/5. I'm not consistent
Really? What do you like about it? I just started using mine and I am getting impatient with it because it feels like water on my skin.
I just started using vitamin c serum and vitamin c face moisturizer for a week and I feel dry and roughness in my face, hopefully it clears out
5/5. My a.m. serums are a vitamin C & niacinamide combo serum & then my SkinCeuticals C&E ferulic. I use retinol and hyaluronic acid serums in my p.m routine.
Green tea fresh toner
Niacinamide syrum
Cerave retinol
La roche posay moisturizer
Is this combination okay?
Morning: vitamin c+ SPF 50, evening one lawyer on moisturizer+ retinol+ moisturizer! Perfect result! Thanks for your advice!
I recently watched your toner video. So if I understand correctly this should be my routine: cleanse, toner, serums (no more than 2), then moisturize. My concern is my toner is TonyMoly 's Ceramide Mochi Toner which is moisturizing. Can I use serums after this?

hello! does gentle exfoliaters work? i use the Axis Y PHA resurfacing glow peel and Axis Y Mugwort pore clarifying wash off pack as exfoliaters. then after washing them off, i use The Ordinary alpha arbutin & niacinamide as serums
so does gently exfoliating helps with serum absorption? (my concern is PIH and acne scars)
I got 4/5. I exfoliate with glycolic acid regularly! Apply in the right order only use two
I thought u couldn't use retinol or vitamin c with glycolic acid?
4/5 . I dont use exfoliation but i wash my face sometimes double wash with milk and glycerine and then face wash . I hope that works
I love the bonus at the end of VDO much❤
Btw, retinol is also SERUM, isn't it? So, I'm 31 yrs now, I need retinol l, then there's only one place for serum, is that right?
I'm rubbing it in too hard, definitely, but it is still delivering results, I have to try tapping. I would like to hear your opinion on foreo iris serum - it works great for me, but maybe you'll have some tips and tricks
Glycolic Serum for L’Oreal Paris is the best I’ve been using so far
Que porciento lo usa
I use cosrx 96% snail musin, the ordinary 2% salicylic acid serum (thrice a week), Axis-Y 5% niacinamid serum (the others day)..... Which product should I use first on my skin?
Very interesting explanation. Thanks for your advices.
You can use vitamin C in the morning and niacinamide at night.
u can use ordinary glycolic acid toner for exfoliation if u r from india buy minimalist glycolic acid toner it's cheaper and do the same job
@@Skynfyx i use tretinion and azalic acid then why i have irritated when put niacinamide serum ?
Thank you so much doc for alot of impormation how to use Korek mosturizer
My skin become dark after I applied vitamin c serum in night without any other things on the face. could u please advise how to get rid of darkness caused ?
Thanks for advice the right way of using.
I use copper peptide , niacinamide and sunscreen am , and snail mucin retinol and alpha arbutin pm
I use vit c in day, retinol n tranexamic acid at night.because for my dark spot tranexamic acid works better
😅😅😅i was doing it all wrong. Not even scored 1😂😂😂. Just a normal girl making myself fit into skincare schedule.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
me too, moisturizing cream first before serum..I did not know Serum should come first.
my only mistake was rubbing the serum to my skin. I just started last month and I’ve been pretty consistent hence saw some good results.
I only use pond’s serum which removed the unevenness of my skin and dark spots.
Doing all the steps correctly as you say 😊.Now a days using Alpha abutin serum
Great. Keep it up.
I have started using vit C serum in day time and retinol once a week .Before moisturising. But i have noticed that after vit c serum application i feel a little irritated for sometime on certain areas of my face like cheekbones. Pls suggest a solution. I will be grateful to you. 🙂
Please sir...can you recommend for me serum and moisturiser which are good for oil skin?
My GF is Has-( Centella Ampoule, The vitamin C, Mixsoon bean essence, Anua deep cleansing foam, Anua NIACINAMIDE 10%+TXA 4%) and isnt sure what order to use them in.
Hi..I am using this in order:
Daytime - vit c, niacinimide, hyaluronic acid, sunscreen
Nightime - niacinimide, retinol, hayaluronic acid (night cream)
Is this correct. I can say my skin improved a lot. However, I am asking if I need to change something in order to maximize more of the result. TIA.
How about if i will not use the moisturiser, just the good face wash, serum then Sun screen SPF 50+.....? Is that good...?
You are over 50 and you want to skip mosituriser
I use a hyaluronic acid Advanced MD, which goes on before my moisturizer. And I don’t use multiple sera. So I got 2/5
I am using ninachinamade at morning and night , retinol at night only , aha serum using at night twice a week
Dr ingky, can you advise serum directly inject to skin use for dermapen?
Does snail baba counts as a serum? (Corsx snail advanced mucin)
I understand that this is an essence and goes right after tone.
Morning time vitamin c serum.. and nyt tym retional serum
What about the serum which is oil based like the ordinary salicylic acid 2% anhydrous solution, should I apply it before or after the moisturizer?
I just acne(Whiteheades)on my around nose and chin.... So should I can you two serum at same time..... Salicylic acid serum around nose and chin and other kojic acid serum on other place of face ???
I use niacinamide serum currently, as with the video you have released about niacinamide, it really does help with the inflammation of my pimples and helps with the texfure of my skin, thank you🇵🇭
You are welcome.

Wu Hyalucomplex Extreme Hydrating Cream, then Shiseido Ultimune Eye
Night Routine: Shiseido Softener Treatment (enriched), Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate III, Glow Recipe Watermelon Niacinamide Dew Drops, Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream, then Shiseido Ultimune Eye
*Sometimes I use the Acnes Point Clear rollerball for acne
I have dry skin and still get acne at times.
Can try out the ordinary or the inkey list.
Thank you for sharing this video and advice. Very helpful !
I want to know if we can use niacinamide and salicylic acid serums from ordinary together and how to use them i have dry skin and acne only on my forehead
I also have sebaceous filaments on my nose and some open pores
I use Torriden Hyaluronic acid serum & alternate between Beplain cica serum & Skin1004 centella ampoule.
Definitely great
I am on right way, I don't make any mistake by the way using vitamin C at day and hyaluronic acid serum at night both are products of Dr.Rashel.
Is there any serum that helps with broken capillaries. Have tried lazer and they came back. Thanks 🙏

I used to switch my skincare everyday I stopped that. If anything I’ll switch out a product once to twice a week.
Can I mix serum with moisturiser? As I don’t want to use 10% niacinamide direct to my skin
Hi!can serum be used daily or 3 to 4 times a week for sensitive skin
