I always enjoy seeing that you have posted a new video Peter. I love your interest in taking this technology to its limits. I also love when your videos include in the beginning the actual footage from the copter's SD card... That way I know ahead of time that you got it back... Take Care!
i know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Gannon Jamir I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Another excellent video Peter, well done. Is that the same location where you were forced to land your Phantom when it ran out of battery (looks very similar)?
Bravo again Peter - may I ask you a question: After all your experiments with many drones - what would you recommend to me as a beginner to buy? I wouldn't fly more than 1km away - but think good video quality and ease of use if important to me. Thrilled to hear your recommendation! best hp
Totally depends on your budget and what you want to use it for. Skydio 2 won't crash into anything. But you have less control over it. It's the perfect follow drone, but has issues sometimes. DJI drones are more reliable, but they do not have 100% object avoidance.
This fly faster against the wind thing is interesting. The air resistance is proportional to the square of the velocity, so flying faster should take more energy per metre I would have thought. It would be difficult to reproduce the conditions exactly to test this though.
The Skydio 2 controller is the same as the Parrot Anafi controller (Skycontroller 3). This is Europe and Skydio 2 will never go more than 1500 meters or up to 2000 meters away in WiFi CE transmission like the Parrot Anafi in this scenario in the middle of the field without obstacles. But here in Europe I use a modified application to work in Fcc and I manage to reach about 3500 meters with Parrot Anafi in a scenario similar to this video. I may be wrong, but if there is a way for Skydio 2 and the controller to work in Europe in Fcc (USA), it would almost certainly be 3500 meters away.
Peter, wat vind je van de nieuwe EU droneregels 2021? En zijn er gevolgen voor jou/je kanaal? Wellicht de moeite waard om hier op in te gaan in je volgende video? Ik baal er in ieder geval flink van... Groeten
this video clearly shows what kind of A drone this is... perfect for ''follow me'' projects and stuff... defenitly not long distance... it also shows in the graphics on the display.... it's not made for this .... is this filmed at ''de Gulbergen''?? If so I will defenitly take my own drone there... beautiful spot
Succes!
This caused by old battery! Old batteries are not so good, battery life decerased, and the percentage is not accurate! I know it, because my tablet doing this thing, when i put on charger on 5% and it jumps up to 13%! Batteries calculate percentage by counting the remaining mAh's of maximum capacity! (Or something like that)

It seems that this super drone has a rather ordinary and disappointing range. I have gone further with a DJI Spark and a Parrot Anafi. If you want a drone to follow something without hitting anything it's great but if you mostly want to explore the scenery there are much better options. The Mavic Air 2 would handle such a trip much better, and you could zoom in on the image as you were flying. 3.5km doesn't seem like an extreme range test at all with an Air 2, just a normal flight.
Hello. A little off-topic, but I clearly hear a non-characteristic dialect, you can say an accent. This is the Eastern European pronunciation of English. Perhaps you are from Poland or from Russia?
I have been looking at this video and I must say I feel justified and encouraged to keep flying. Keep going brother
Really enjoy watching your videos when you push the drones out as far as you can. Still love watching your flight from the hills to your roof top.
Best drone channel by far, enjoyed every episode, looking forward to more,.
I agree. I cannot compare to Peter. I have been watching his channel for a few years and still one of my favourites. Yes even over mine lol.

Well done Peter. I always find you videos interesting and honest. I would have been panicking like crazy if id lost contact for so long. Brilliant
Great to watch - your flight range test reviews. Love the Skydio 2. Hope they sell them in the UK soon, also great to see you back!
Two words: Occusync rocks !
Such a joy to watch, Must get into this drone flying hobby.
Excellent video !!!! very informative !!!
Nice I look forward to your videos. Thank you.
Hi Peter. Your videos have started to come back in my feed recently. I miss your videos, you used to do really fun stuff. I hope you are well
Thanks for the flight awsome to b here.
Very good, I think you should do another long distance landing, like you did with the Phantom on your terrace, 😁
I love it when you do this kind of stuff!
i know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a method to get back into an instagram account..?

@Gannon Jamir it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much you really help me out!
@Jake Alvin you are welcome =)
I really like those long range videos in Tenerife
hi im new fan i love playing drone and i happy to watch your video. ♥️😍
Good to see ya Peter.
Another excellent video Peter, well done. Is that the same location where you were forced to land your Phantom when it ran out of battery (looks very similar)?
I think the 3.5 Klm. range is flight range. You did 1780 meters out and 1780 back. So you did achieve your goal.
Hey! How's life, long time you don't upload any new video. Greetings.
Hey, would u recommend Skydio or DJI drones like mavic? Thx ✌️
Hope you will come back soon bud. It’s been over a year since your last post. Hope you are ok.
Nice video bro 👍👍👍🇨🇭🇱🇨

Hi have you got the Mavic mini 2 .
Have you tried long distance in boost? Maybe the motors are more efficient at higher rpm...

I like this type of vdo.. 💓💓💓india
Waiting for your drone to return home takes forever on long distance flights , gives you time too worry, will it make it back 👊🏻👍🏻

would you recommend buying skydio 2
I like it --- eating grass! Hahaha.
No one beat Phantom 4 Pro like what you did at 8km distance.... one way ticket though and I love it!

Dat is wel een tegenvallertje. Ben benieuwd of je die antennes kunt boosten...
De Peter !! Is dit op de VAM berg ???Jammer dat de range testen bijna verleden tijd zijn....

Loot lake?
Have you considered that trees absorb RF quite well, and that may be the cause of your loss of signal?
Had he considered that he might also know that it's illegal to fly BVLOS and in controlled airspace, but, there's no cure for stupid.
Hey Peter... do a remote landing.
why is the body shot glitchy?, what camera are you using?
See the caption at 1:39
@@N_Wheeler aaaaaahhh okay thanks
Werid. Looks like the battery life increased from 35% to 39% on of the way back. How does that work?
This caused by old battery! Old batteries are not so good, battery life decerased, and the percentage is not accurate! Or it recalculated based on distance to home and speed or what not
Hi Peter, is all Okey? Where are you?
