Two years later and I still want one. Seems the world forgot about it but still looks great.
Me too. Never see one anywhere lol. I was able to pickup a 1.0 3.6" 40C (Subcompact) yesterday at my LGS. I don't care about 9/40 either way really, but I have a 2.0 4" Compact 40, and it's my best shooter of several. It was "USED" but brand new. Haven't got it out yet, but I'm excited about it. I'd love to find the 2.0.
If youre still looking for one, Sportsmans Guide just put them up for clearance. I just ordered one. Hope that helps!!
@@dougfowler9609
They gone now? Can’t seem to find them.
I appreciate the fact that you admit your a glock fanboy, but still give the S&W a fair shake 👍
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Howard Dominick instablaster ;)
Ahh the never ending battle of Glock vs S&W. Glock backed by Chuck Norris, who we all know is awesome. But on the other hand, when a bunch of guys are holding up your favorite coffee shop, and you say “we’re not just gonna let you walk outta here.” And the gang leader asks “who’s we sucka?” The only correct response is “Smith, Wesson and me.” Come on, you can’t say Glock and me, that’s not right.
Stole that from Clint I think. Lol
That's exactly why I'm a Glock hater and an M&P fan boy..........
You could say,,,,, Well punk, do ya feel lucky today,,, do ya,,, lol
steve trainer Nope, can only say that if your gun is a .44 magnum or larger.
Just Substitute, “Glock and I.”
Ok, ok, okay, I’m staying with “Smith & Wesson, And me or is that I?”
Great review James, but one thing you didn't mention while contextualizing the gun is price. Obviously price can vary a bit, but the M&P 2.0 subcompact is $100 less than the hellcat, almost $200 less than the 365XL, and about $220 less than the G26. That can be a huge difference for someone just getting into firearms/conceal carry.
Crankston Shnord Wait, REALLY?? Thanks for pointing that out.
Steven Prime .. right on. I absolutely cherish my G2c. Great size and capacity
Big reason why I bought it In the first place
I bought the very first M&P 2.0 compact when it came in to Bizarre Guns in Reno, Nevada. I looked at a lot of pistols. I compared it to Gen 4 G-19. The Gen 5's were not out yet. The guys in the store were heavily biased towards the Glock. I'm left handed.. can shoot well righty, too- but prefer carrying on my left hip. The ambi slide stop/release on the S&W was a strong selling point. I chose the Smith. I find now, that the slide release/stop is almost impossible to use for the lefty- it's really tight. I still find it easy enough to use it like it is. I bought it at full price at the time it was about $525.00. The Glock was a bit more. I shoot the 2.0 compact well. I got my CCW with it. I also own a Taurus PT111 Millenium. The mag release spring fell out of that gun, rendering it useless- took four months to get it back from Taurus. I keep it in my desk as a home defense weapon. I shoot it well enough, but you really can feel and see the difference in your groups with a 4" barrel, over these shorter barreled guns. I also have a Bersa BP9cc- great shooter and even though the slide stop is righty its easy to engage with my left index finger. Its a single stack.. not going to carry it. But that's just my preference. I have a Canik TP9SF Elite Sub Compact. Great little gun, but I still find myself shooting my S&W 4" 2.0 the best.
I'm curious as to what owners of both the 2.0- 4" vs. this new sub compact M&P think.
at my lgs the shield is $480 I’ll gladly pay an extra 70 for the g26
You forgot the fact that M&P has two compacts now. The 4 “ and the 3.6 “ just to add more confusion 😂
If you take a Glock 26, remove the finger grooves, add three dot steel sights with a rail, improve the grip angle and take off $100, you have the old and proven M&P 9c. Great pistol
The original M&P trigger is one of my favorite triggers
Yeah. I'm that one guy who liked it
Make that "two" of us...! Love the trigger on my C.O.R.E. Pro M&P 40 as well.
I gotta say, I hate the look of the hinge trigger; but I use great with the stock trigger (non PC version). I do have a FSS Apex trigger, but not worth the $200 tag for me.
Makes three os us
Great video!! I literally have been waiting to hear about this firearm for the last 2 months from somebody.. thank you for covering this firearm. Again great video!!
I'm really interested in one and none of my gunstores in town plan on carrying it. Sucks. I want to get my hands on one before I buy. Hate buying blind online but I'm glad his review was favorable.
Thanks, I've been looking for a good review of the new M&P. Well done!
What I like about the M&P M2.0 Subcompact and the Glock 26 is that they can use the magazines from their larger brothers. The ideal situation at home is to have the full-size gun (M&P 2.0 or Glock 17) as a bedside gun with a light. Then, as a backup, at another location, the subcompact model, with a full-size mag as a backup. The smaller gun is then also perfect for concealed carry. And, for total security, have another gun (same caliber) in the garage in a hidden, locked singe gun safe, in case you come home and don't have a pistol on you. and you suspect there might be a problem (is that paranoid?).
Nah you make good points I like the extended 17 round mags that give it a full grip because then it'd work well for CQC and then the shorter mags for carry and the 17 can then be back up
I have the 1.0 and it’s my current off duty gun. Bigger than a G26 and smaller than a G19. It shoots head shots standing at 25 yards all day long. Accepts 17 round mags and an O Light PL Mini. I’ve owned it for about 15 years. ZERO failures. So, big gun performance that carries like a sub compact. I carry many different brands and models. G43, Kahr PM, Shield, Sig P938, and G26. None of them have the combination of size, capacity, accuracy, reliability, and ability to have a weapon mounted light that the M&P9c and this M2.0 Sub Compact has. This gun covers all the bases: Home defense, concealed carry, motorcycle gun, and I’ll bet I can even compete with it. Buy one-you won’t be disappointed.
.45 if you show a valid aarp card lol
Good review. All these years later and I still want one. You’re exactly right too-some of us like thicker guns over the slim micro compacts.
I have this S&W. It's like the 26 with a frame rail. Double plus winner.
How has it held up so far? Do you have other subcompact firearms? How does it compare to that?
@@JacksonWalter735 it's fine. Still like new. I have a shield and 2 Glock 48s as far as compacts go. All good.
Jimmy, do you have any recommendations for a good inside the waistband holster? I need one for deep concealment, and hopefully comfortable
@@blake9908 raven, andre designs , my buddy makes some too. Strike hard holsters on Facebook.
@@mickeydown556 thank you!
I've got over 5,000 rounds on my M&P9 2.0 compact with zero issues of any kind. Total confidence in this firearm.
I'm hoping the 2.0 Subcompact will prove to be just as reliable with it's smaller dimensions.
Excellent review
Yes, me too. Of course if the slide is sloppy on mine , well then, I reckon I'm alright with it. lol
I also carry a 1.0 in my truck. It goes with me everyday. Out all my handguns, hard core Glock guy also, the 9C is just a great Gun!
At the time of its releases it was hard to beat. I bought mine because it had great ergonomics, small CCW package and still had decent capacity. But now we have the Hellcat and 365 that are lighter slimmer and much better triggers.
Thank you for doing this review. There's like 2 videos about this gun... and it's been out for over a month?
It's always a good day when James posts a new review. Ready for the weather to warm up so we see the shorts again though.
Thanks for this review! I’ve been waiting for details and to see the subcompact in action. 👍
I’m on my second M&P “1.0” compact. Gave the first one to my best friend after we put around 15k rounds through it. The one I have now has around 11k rounds through it (this took three years to do). I’ve had exactly 3 malfunctions between the two. One dud round, one failure to feed ( in the first 50 rounds of gun 1) and one failure to fully eject (shooting Tula ammo). Awesome guns.
Absolutely love my M&P Compact 2.0. Still my favorite gun, range gun. Didn't know they made a subcompact. For Carry purpose, I just went with the new Shield Plus.. Sold the Hellcat which was nice, but Square grip was uncomfortable overall and a little too heavy. 365, too skinny of a grip. Guess I'm a Smith & Wesson M&P fan now because of the shield and that 2.0 compact. Just awesome feeling guns, shooting guns, even look pretty decent.
Don’t think they are obsolete at all. I have a hellcat and have shot a 365 and they are just not as shootable and confidence inspiring as the subs. Y’all can keep your micro 9’s
I still love my M&P "1.0" Talo, in the nightstand with 15 rnds and mag extension or carry with 10.
Great gun, I shoot the hell out of it and it NEVER fails.
Great review. Your simple and effective range setup gives me great hope to one day have such a nice range of my own.
Just shot the M&P subcompact. It is marginally bigger than my Hellcat, but shoots considerably better. Shoots and feels closer to a compact or full size compared to the micros. The micros while are great for concealed carry, you can step up to a slightly larger platform that shoots considerably better. The more comfortable to shoot, the more likely you will shoot it more often and become much more proficient with it.
Just bought this yesterday. Mine came with 1 cushion piece to accomodate 15-round mag from the Compact and 1 more cushion piece to accomodate 17-round mag from the Full Size.
I will be buying more cushion pieces and 17-round mags for training and use the original 12-round mags for concealed carry. Great guns.
I'm surprised to find I agree with your assessment.
I recently purchased an M&P 2.0, 3.6" with the 15-round magazines (#11694) and found it to be quite a good shooting gun. Ran a full box of ammo through it and after getting used to it, put 38 of 50 rounds into one ragged hole at 7 to 15 yards. It points well, recoil is modest and the controls are easy to reach. I opted for the thumb safety model for consistency with my experience shooting 1911s. It feels more natural for me that way.
I own the 3.6 model as well and curious if you're experiencing barrel wear on the top angled portion near the "9mm" engraving. It's worn through the barrel finish to the stainless steel starting to show.
@@colejohnston6386 Not yet. But I have less than 250 rounds downrange with this pistol.
@@John-st5gw is it the 3.6 or 4.0? Wish I could post pictures, but i sent it in to S&W and they kept it for 4 weeks just to send it back saying there was nothing wrong with it lol....
Thanks for the lesson ! Was confused until this video !
M&P what Glock guys shoot when they aren't shooting Glocks.
“You smell what I’m stepping in” yo this the second quote I’m taking from you to use once again. Keep it up bro
This is a really helpful comparison. Thanks!
What people really want to know.
How does it print in tactical shorts?
I think your friend may have one of the shields that was part of a batch that had rusting problems. We've sent a few back at the store for it. Smith and Wesson has always fixed it.
I am a smaller-framed person. I could not conceal the M&P 3.6 well. The subcompact with the 12-round mag is much better fit for me. Never liked the grip of the G26. I am comfortable shooting a Shield. I thought I'd like the 365 with the small grip and higher capacity, but find the grip and frame seem too small and do not shoot it as well as the Shield, and find the M&P Subcompact MUCH easier to shoot than the 365. So, the S&W M&P Subcompact has hit the sweet spot for me in terms of what I needed right now - higher capacity than the Shield, excellent ergos, easier to shoot than the 365, still concealable in most situations, will work great for HD as well and I already have 15 and 17 round M&P mags on hand. The Subcompact is what I've been waiting for.
Respect for saying “raises the question” not “begs the question”! Someone gets it.
This is the gun at the size I've been waiting for... James, you hit every high note (except the availability of a well-engineered manual safety from the factory) and fairly criticised how this edition was maybe a year or so late to be called the obvious choice for the optimum CCW/do-it-all handgun. It still very much is for me, but at this point I can see people with collections or maybe the 365XL saying "why this now?"
For me, it's extra .05" of width over the XL means nothing but good for my grip, recoil control, and ralid fire capability. It's a EDC that shoots like a very good mid-sized, do-it-all pistol.
It's perfect for every use but competition, and nothing's good for competition but those huge 5"ers anyways. I've been in carry bliss since getting a good holster. Renaissance handgun perfection.
Good review! It would have been great to see how your right hand fingers fit on the grip. Very few Reviewers ever show this.
Thanks for the review, and for not simply dismissing this gun out of hand because it is slightly larger (as is the G26) than the current crop of ultra-small pocket 9mm subcompacts. I'm sure as more UA-camrs review this pistol there will be a common thread questioning its relevancy in the age of the P365 and the Hellcat. But, there are some people, to include folks who don't get much practice opportunity that will be better served by a slightly larger gun.
Also, I can say from experience that sometimes, an off-duty or plain clothes LEO needs a gun that is a little smaller than a full duty sidearm, but can shoot like the bigger gun in cases where he might be called upon to take law enforcement action beyond self-defense. To have a pistol that works exactly like your duty gun, and even uses the same spare magazines is a huge plus for cops, and when it is time to go back on duty in uniform, the smaller gun can be strapped to the ankle to become part of a carry system as a backup gun. One that can be maintained by the department armorer. This is one market area that doesn't affect private citizens all that much, but for cops it is a big deal and well worth carrying a slightly thicker gun, in my opinion. I am also of the opinion that both the M&P and the Glock have been fully tested and will stand up to hard use. There are good reasons why this pistol exists.
Merry Christmas!
Absolutely! One of the best comments I’ve ever read. It expresses my sentiment precisely! You’d be hard pressed to convince me to let go of my G26. There’s something to be said for a subcompact that shoots as well as a duty gun - even if it doesn’t have the capacity of the modern micro-nines. Albeit, the mag compatibility solves that issue. Is it larger? Sure. But with that comes a phenomenally comforting level of shootability, and the time spent behind the off duty gun transfers effortlessly over to the duty gun.
@@permanenceaesthetic6545 exactly and well said. Understandably, since most buyers have never had to pull a gun, much less been in a real shooting, they think they want the absolute smallest and lightest gun they can get in the most powerful caliber. Then they go to a calm daylight range and shoot at a few paper targets at close range that don't shoot back under little to no time pressure and think they are good to go.
I suppose I was fortunate to begin carrying professionally over 40 years ago when we didn't have all the choices we have today. When I started, you basically had a full sized revolver, an all-steel 1911, or a J-frme snubby. I was only two years in when I was involved in a shooting involving two assailants, and what I had on me was a five shot Chief's Special. I learned then that the smallest gun is not always the best when the crap hits the fan, and swore off the tiny guns for anything other than backup, for which they can be very useful. Also, coming from years of carrying larger guns like 1911's, Beretta 92's, and SIG P226's, I have a different idea of what you can conceal if you have to. For me, carrying a Glock 19 or a Glock 26 is a dream, and I love what I can do with them, even on a bad day with no warm up. I know it will probably never happen to me since I'm now an old retired guy, but if I'm ever in a Walmart and have to go after an active shooter at the length of one of those long aisles, I'd much rather do it with a Glock 26 rather than something smaller. Oh wait, we just had an active shooter at the Walmart that I go to in the last 90 days. Stay safe my friend.
@@PPISAFETY
Yes sir, absolutely! I carried a full size Colt Government model since I was 16 (it was a different time then), and and going from that to a Glock 19, and then 26 is like night and day. I still carry that old 1911 fairly frequently, so when I do carry the 26 I can hardly believe just how light it is. The micro compact guys are a bit hysterical regarding the weight issue me thinks. Fact of the matter, is that even if I go weeks without warming a barrel, I know I can perform with the G26. I don’t have to be as nervous about being dialed in as I do with the micros. The less thinking and conscious effort I have to put in while defending my life, the better. It’s easy mode to be honest. While I’ve never had to drop the hammer (Glory to God for that), I have had to clear leather (and kydex). And you’re absolutely right about the difference in confidence level regarding small firearms as primaries. Can they work? Oftentimes, yes! I frequently carry a S&W 638 as a BUG. But at the same time, I don’t want to have to rely on “oftentimes.”
I have 2 M&P9c and a M&P9 Compact 2.0 all three have Apex Duty triggers. The two M&P9c are set with crimson trace grips due to my 55 year old eyes. I really have enjoyed them for many years. At times I carry my main M&P9c with my 15rd mag from the M&P Compact 2.0 with a +6 Floyd’s Custom’s mag extension giving a wonderful small M&P9c that has a very nice Apex trigger, a red laser, trijicon low light sights and 21 rounds of 9mm. In WA. I have a coat on more times then not so I’m good. I enjoyed your review. And this video has me thinking about getting the new subcompact 2.0. Maybe I will try the new Timney M&P Competition trigger on it. But it may end up being to light for carry. Thank you again for the work you do.
Timestamp ~4:24. The video-processed close up effects had a KillBill movie vibe. I like it. And that metal ping from the targets... wow.
You summed it up great. I got the M&p 2.0 full size and it is a great firearm. Educating myself on all the variants of their models, I’m like, man, S&W, can you make your product lineup any more confusing?!
Tbh I needed that origin story because I was wondering the freaking same thing!!🤯
Great video a lot of great info 👍
I'd love a comparison between this gun and the new S&W M&P 9mm EZ since I have arthritis and love the 380 EZ due to the easy to rack slide, and the easy to load magazines.
Thank you for responding to my request 😁😊
Very strong, fair review. Thank you. Subscribing.
I finally got the reset better on my M&P9C then this comes out. At least I haven't stippled it yet, so I'm just going to get a 2.0 now. Probably fits in my holster too.
I'm impressed how high you keep your thumb on slide without it getting hit.
I have both and would recommend either one of these. They are both great pistols so you just need to find the one that fits your hand better. Glock 26 for me because of the magazine.
Great video as usual..
Soo you should be able to use the 1.0's 12rd mags with the pinky ext. in this then right ?
The S&W 9c and 9mm 2.0 subcompact are underrated and to me..better than the Shield
I went to the gun store with my mind made up. I was hell bent on purchasing a glock. I left with the m&p. I'm still going to purchase a glock at some point. I love them all.
I hope you finally got your glock
"Don't worry about that little guy " too funny
I run my 9c, mostly. I have an Apex trigger, and stippled the grip, to be more like the 2.0. It’s in rotation with my Shield 2.0, my G2c, and my EC9S . How does the 2.0 Sub compare with the 9C? Is it worth selling my 1.0, to upgrade? Or, is it just a little better?
M&Ps are tops in my book. Can't beat em all around. Not a must, but for 100$ an Apex trigger makes this among the best triggers on the market as well. The answer to the title is...Yes.
I have the 15 round 3.8” M&P 2.0 compact. Pretty solid gun, especially with some Apex trigger goodness. My daily is still the 1.0 shield but the 2.0 is a great full-size option.
Think the apex trigger will fit the sub compact 3.6 2.0?
Eghatch92 yeah I’m sure it would. If you ever have questions call Apex. They’re awesomely helpful! I had them install my trigger, they did it free of charge. With tolerance stacking it was an extremely tight fit. They were fantastic. The trigger I got was an older model. Apex upgraded it to the newest version for free!
Love to see an mp2.0 45 subcom review
M&P sub compact 1.0 with apex trigger and it shoots great and low recoil. Its really only a little bigger then the new Sig 365 , and XL. I was thinking of getting the XL but for the little size difference I really dont think I would getting much more then what I have. I always get a size larger waist in my pants for CCW anyway and with a stretch version its comfortable. Lands end stretch jeans work great.

UA-cam is reading my brain. I was literally just thinking about buying this gun 30 minutes ago
Mark Mathews why?
I just bought this maybe an hour ago then found this video lol.
You were probly looking up info on the gun online prior to getting on UA-cam, no?
How do you remove😟 the rust on a gun as seen in this video ? When is there 😟too much rust be it for a semi automatic or a revolver ?
I wish this was available three years ago when I first bought my handgun
Compact 3.6" best gun out
Is that smaller then the 2.0 subcompact ??
I find the gun to be a good balance of shootability with carry comfort. You can also improve capacity with 15 and 17 round mags.
I love All My M&Ps and I carry one every day!
Thank you for the informative video and the very necessary clarification about the S&W M&P 1.0 and 2.0 family lineage. Your comparisons to the Glock frame sizes also helped understand the size differences among these carry guns. I have been carrying an M&P 2.0 Compact for about 10 months now but I was fascinated with your carry rig early in this video. May I ask what brand it is and where I might acquire same? Again, thank you for your passionate discourse about quality firearms.
Your comment about the .45 ACP and needing to show my AARP card had me chuckling. I appreciate your not dropping an "OK, Boomer" on me while you were at it.
I wonder if you have an opinion regarding shoot ability as compared to the 4 in compact that you mentioned at the beginning of the video
I like the sub compact because I use an m and p pro in competition and use the compact 22 to practice. So if I went with a shield it would be completely different in my hands. Plus the 12 rounds is awesome as well
Since your a Glock Fan boy I'm glad to see you giving props to other manufacturers, especial S&W, since I'm a S&W fan boy.
I'm also a CZ fan boy. And Kahr/Magnum Research fan boy. I love my DE44.
Are the original m&p 9c mags compatible with the new 2.0 subcompact?
Yes
I already own a p365 and a Ruger LCP. I cc both depending on what I’m wearing, where I’m going, and the weather outside. I’ve really wanted one of these M&P 2.0sc’s as a more shootable cc option for a while now. Especially for use in the colder months when I’m wearing more layers of clothing. Is it strange to rotate 3 different guns for cc? Well, we have more than 3 options on what clothing we choose to wear…
Smith and Wesson hit a home run with the m&p compact with the 3.6 barrel.15 +1 in a small package. If I wants lower capacity I'll carry a 45. Just my opinion, but nice video
How does this compare to the M&P Shield 2.0 'in size?
How does the M&P 2.0 compact compare to the Ruger security 9 sub compact?
Adding to the nomenclature confusion, if you go to your gunshop to buy a spare magazine for your M2.0 Compact, the magazine package labeling says "Mid-Size" 15rd 9 mm. No past or current M&P pistol is designated "Mid-Size". So the Mid-Size mag fits the 2.0 Compact, the 2.0 SubCompact (with sleeve), and the 1.0 Compact (sticks out, but makes an excellent 15rd back up mag). Also the slimmer M&P Shield series is more compact than the 2.0 SubCompact (without magazine compatibility). So is the Shield series SubSubCompact or Micro?
Your right it is confusing. The names makes more sense with the 2.0. I do like the idea behind the 365 and the Hellcat however tiny guns don't fit my hand well.
Keep the M&P 9C that you already have (1.0), the one you already updated the trigger on, and pickup some 2.0 compact mags and sleeves. Balance of 3.5" is better than chunkier 3.6" and ever so slightly easier to conceal.
So is there a single stack version of this gun available?
What are the differences between the M2.0 Shield & M2.0 Sub Compact? Thanks.
Do the 2.0 pistols now come with that new end plate on the back of the slide?
Thanks for the explanation on this mess. I have always been an M&P guy and get it. But even my guys at my local shop do not get it.
Does anyone know if this sub compact 2.0 will fit in a 1.0 (aka m&p9c) kydex holster without issues?
Yes it will fit
How about a M&p shield plus vs m&p supcompact more or less a WHY??
Valid AARP card. Roger that!
AARP is a leftist, Anti-gun, socialist, globalist organization. My money goes elsewhere.
Still shooting my $200 Taurus Pt111 and waiting for something to break like they said it would. 12 shot, accessory rail, good trigger(after the trigger job), shoots Sig 20-shot mags. Why switch?
Is it sig 226 magazines it can be used with?
@@richardryan2827 Sig 226 mags. I've epoxied a
Polymer spacer to keep the mag body from shifting.
I love the 2.0... I have the Glock 26, and was going to buy another... but I'm definitely getting this M&P9 2.0 sub compact instead. I own the M&P40 1.0, M&P9 2.0 FDE with the 5 inch barrel, M&P45 2.0 Threaded with the factory suppressor height sights, & will now be adding the M&P9 2.0 Sub Compact. Bad ass job Smith & Wesson.
Do 4.25 slides and barrels fit on this frame ?
I'm a Smith and Wesson fan and I Like this gun 👍🔫🇺🇸
What hearing protection were you using?
I have own the first version and carry it for the past five years i love Glock but own many M&P in my opinion just choose one you like and feel comfortable with and train till you master it period....
Now I ready to spend my money with S&W again.
What would you suggest? M&P 2.0 Subcompact or Glock 43x? I'm aware shield arms has the 15 round magazine that will take forever for all the orders to ship out. I'm also hoping Glock would release the railed version of the 43x instead of having to buy the recover tactical rail attachment.
I sold my 43x after barely 1,000 rounds. It just didn't feel right in my hand. For CCW you MUST have a gun you like and feel comfortable with it.
I have a Glock 43x and a hellcat pro. I also have very large hands and I realized I'm not a fan of the micro 9 movement. I'm going to check this out and a Glock 26. The width and the front to back length makes it more comfortable for my hands.
It was important to clarify that, I just purchased and was so confused when researching.
That AARP joke was awesome 👌
Great video, I own the M&P 2.0 Compact and was looking to buy the Glock 26 for something a little smaller to carry. But now I'll look into the 2.0 Subcompact, kinda feel a little silly buying almost the exact same gun that I currently have though
@Scott Lee ....don’t feel silly at all. How guys out there have more than one G19!!

Not to mention that your mags are compatible too..
Nice job on the video! Only things you left out is the plethora of mag entensions including the Hyve and that you hinted at, but didn't definitively clarify that it is compatible with the "1.0" 9C mags. Lastly, AARP is anti-gun and shouldn't be supported by patriots.
This little guy is an awesome addition to the M&P Line. Still, there is a place for the"1.0" 9C which might be a a little more concealable and has a slightly better balance with its 3.5" barrel than the 3.6" barrel. For some, the grippiness might be a little too rough to have against skin, etc. with the 2.0 version. And, the older gun's trigger can be rectified with the aftermarket options. Apex for example... Seems a little mushier, though and doesn't have an as pronounced reset as the 2.0 version. All considered, the 2.0 is outstanding and as you pointed out has much more shootability, especially with HYVE option and/or the 2.0 Compact 15-round mags. Carrying concealed appendix-style the .1 barrel length is better on the older.
Lastly, this gun has a sight radius more than comparable to the G19.
What holster are you using?
Can you review the mp45 sc 2.0?
