For durability without inconveniencing bulk or weight, consider purchasing a Glock over competing handgun models. Skeptics of the Glock’s seemingly indestructible reputation can rest assured that this handgun is well-deserving of its title as the most reliable pistol in the world.

However my cousin is a Police Officer and his off-duty carry is the Glock 43x and he loves it.
@@marknorwood7521.... Forget about the CZ. They're good-looking guns but not very reliable or durable, anybody who has put their guns through rigorous training will tell you that. I’ve had Glock 45 for half a year now. Shot a couple of thousand of rounds in five or so shooting sessions at the range. Used ammo by different manufacturers. Not a single issue. Fair enough, I clean and maintain it well. An amazing piece of engineering.
I find the "subcompact" models like the G29 & G30 to be most practical for concealed carry. My G29's barrel length may keep it from making the most of 10mm ammunition, but it still delivers more foot pounds of force on a target than a similarly sized 9mm could.
You really only lose about 50 or 60 fps with the subcompact G29 vs the G20. The biggest difference is shootability. I just always found the stubby grip of the G29 to be a detriment to accuracy and control. I have big hands and like to get a full grip on the gun. Real 10mm can be snappy. I EDC a Glock 20 because the added controllability is worth the increase in size to me.
I carried a G-22 for my last 5 years in law enforcement. It was better than any other sidearm I had been issued in the previous 15 years. If I had to go into harms way and a pistol was my only option, it would be a G-20 without a doubt.

I have attended three Gunfighter Pistol Courses with instructors who have experienced their share of fire fights their share, either in law enforcement, military or both. They often have some very tricked out handguns by now, but still prefer the Glock 19 or 19X over other handguns in the same market range. Simply no comparison. Just believe in carrying what you train with. The Sig M18 is an excellent handgun as well, but my confidence is very high in the 19X. Maybe i just need to train some with the M18. On the 19X I know the trigger take up and reset like the back of my hand. This allows me to shoot rapidly and accurately when and if needed and he who puts down the most firepower keeps his enemy's head down. I'm a "fanboy" of any brand I like to shoot. Glock pistols are reliable, that should be the only important feature of any cc gun. And they're fun to shoot. My favs are the 17, 19 and 23.
Glock guy here. Specifically Glock 17 Gen 4 For me, it’s the end of an era of perfection. I love the finger grooves, And the smooth finish at the end of the slide. I don’t know what’s going on with the Gen 5. I bought one to have, but I can’t stand the change in slide color. And I especially can’t stand the front serrations: It simply doesn’t look like a Glock. I hope they bring back the smooth front end. Glock 17 Gen 4 All day long. Perfection in my hand. Nothing feels the same ….. And most importantly, She goes boom. I own several glocks. New and used. NONE of them have ever had a single failure to fire or any hiccup of any kind. I know, some folks gotta be contrarians and get an Sig, but for me it makes no sense to get a gun where the parts aren’t interchangeable. Glock Perfection ps: almost forgot : I have a Kriss Vector and guess what? (Takes Glock mags) Perfect
My introduction to Glocks was the Glock 20. If you want a 9mm, there are dozens of good choices. But if you were looking for a lughtweight, high capacity 10mm Auto that could take a steady diet of "real" 10mm Auto without battering itself apart, in 2004, there was only one option, the Glock 20. Even today with the resurgence of the 10mm gaining momentum, Glock has a 30 year head start on the competition, and the venerable Glock 20 is still the most proven, durable, reliable, and respected on the market. I became a Glock fan for life with that first Gen III Glock 20. And a 10mm fan, for that pistol was my introduction to both. I have since added a Gen IV G20 to the collection, and while I have other pistols in other calibers, it is the 10mm Glocks that sees the most use. It just gives me the warm and fuzzies knowing I have 15 rounds of Underwood 200 gr JHP strapped to my hip.
@@Imakebootysclap The XD was okay, back when it was a $250 Croatian import known as the HS2000 and the only other alternative in the price range was the HiPoint. It ceased to be noteworthy as soon as Springfield bought the license, renamed it the Xtreme Duty, with an "X," so anime-watching basement dwellers would know it is legit, and then doubled the price so they could pretend it compared to the Glock. Springfield Armory is a poser company selling poser weapons to posers. They bought prestige they couldn't earn buying their name and now mostly maintain this prestige by selling boomers poorly made copies if their grandfathers guns. The XD can't compare to the Glock. Every time it is tested objectively, it fails, which is why the Glock 20 specifically has more law enforcement contracts that all XDs combined. I have shot half a dozen XDs in multiple generations, frame sizes, calibers, and configurations, including an "Elite" with a red dot, and never been impressed. Apparently I am not the only one, because professionals don't carry XDs, like, at all, ever. Shooting instructors at shooting schools just roll their eyes like, "o boy, here we go," any time a student shows up with an XD. Aaron at Sage Dynamics tracks every weapon related malfunction on his firing line and maintains the XD goes tits up at 5x the rate of Glocks and M&Ps. One common failure point for the XD is the sear engagement for the grip safety. When this happens, the slide is locked shut, so you can't even clear your weapon before sending it to the manufacture for repairs. Imagine having a weapon so defectively designed and manufactured that it has to be sent loaded to be repaired. Now imagine thinking this weapon is several times better than the industry standard. Glock sets the bar. They revolutionized the market. They are still the most proven, and the one all others are compared to. They didn't get to this point because they suck. And they don't give a shit about second rate posers and their second rate poser pistols. Sit down, clown.
I have been shooting and competing a long time and have used several different pistols for duty purposes as well. I want to hate Glocks, but they are dead reliable and I can pick one up and be deadly accurate with it right out of the box. They just flat work.
I bought glock air soft when I was 12yrs old. At first, it looked odd and dull, but became my favorite after colt and Beretta. But still long colt I remember as simple and beautiful with black grip and full black body
With all the research and testing done by agencies all over the world and then adopting them Glock is an incredible choice for a handgun. Which is why I have carried one for over 20 years. They fit most hands and require very little in the way of familiarization to gain comfort and proficiency. Leggo my Glock.
I had the glock 19x but didn’t keep it for long because I couldn’t stand the awkward grip angle compared to the grip angle on my shadow systems mr920 elite
It was my final choice, have my gen 4 for almost 10 years, no issues at all. As for preference of brand it boils down to the hand the holds it. Proficiency and responsibility lies in the head of the bearer. To all responsible and law abiding concealed carriers out there... SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY and more SAFETY
I've never fired a glock in my life, I've always had smith & wesson, and I've never had an issue with any of mine I use it at the range alot, never once had an issue
Glock reminds me of Apple. I hated Apple simply because Apple was very popular, but I didn’t understand it until I got an iPhone and now I will never get another phone. So, I purchased my first Glock last week. I got the Glock 43 and I have to be honest it is the best pistol I ever shot in my life. I put 300 rounds through it so far right out of the box and not a single malfunction. It’s just an amazing weapon and very simple to field strip and clean and put back together. That’s how a pistol is supposed to be. In the military, we called it kiss or keep it simple stupid!
I run Glocks. Easy and simple. Simple to clean. After you understood the trigger, it’s very simple. I like Beretta and 1911, but i run Glocks. Simple is the best.
They are good guns like many others. I own everything. Like them all. Shoot what you like. The best gun is the one that'll get the job done in your hands, not someone elses.
Glocks are good guns, however if I want to make it a great gun I have to customize it. By the time this is done I've spent more money then if I just bought a BETTER gun with the features I wanted right off the bat. I've seen the Glock since they first came out. They look and function the same since the 90s (no innovation at all). Add a beavertail, remove a beaver tail, put on an external safety, take off an external safety.... Glocks real perfection is their marketing. Buying a Glock these days and saying it's a competitive modern firearm is like buying a 1911 and making the same claim. Sure they're good but they're outdated and there's better options on the market for your money. If one can afford it.
Glocks undeniably have the best aftermarket support of any polymer framed, striker fired handgun. That established, you can buy a Glock 19 and spend hundreds of dollars customizing it, or you could just buy a Shadow Systems MR920, or a ZEV OZ9 and get the same gun right out of the box. Your choice.
I live in Commiefornia so the Glock 26 gen 3 is my favorite model because it doesn't come with a neutered cali legal 10rnd mag but instead comes with the original 10rnd mags it has always came with. Every other glock out here is capped at 10 rounds with special CA legal mags. God I wish I could leave Commiefornia! ✌️
Unfortunately glock hasn't completely fixed the brass to face issue yet in 2022. I just bought a new 19x with this issue. I have a pretty good collection of handguns and don't have that problem with others. Anyone have any suggestions how to fix this? I really want to like this gun but glock is making it very hard when brass is beaning me in the forehead !

Glocks are great weapons. Everyone knows this, and I own several, but in my opinion, HKs are superior. Of course they are more expensive, but you get what you pay for. In reality, HKs aren’t really more expensive when you take into consideration all the aftermarket upgrades you’re going to get for your Glock! Sights, trigger, stippling, trigger guard undercut to name a few! Just get an HK and be done!
All the quality brands make fine firearms, so it's silly to try to degrade a brand when we all know they make good guns. However, I recently bought a Taurus TH9C for $301, including louding tax. I text fired H&K and S&W, and I'm naturally an S& W guy. For $500+ more, the others don't shoot any better than the Taurus. The trigger is a little gritty. The magazine release is not good. Once I get several hundred rounds through it, I'll get them worked on if they haven't broken in. I have a hard time justifying a price tag 2x or 3x if I'm not shooting any better.
I think everything has a practical application. With that said when it comes to self defense and reliability Glock is the absolute best it just works and works well. I don’t think I’ve ever had mine Jam and I use a g22 .40 gen 3. Plus the amount of parts you can but for customization and repair you can’t beat it man! I love 1911s but I also have a major love for my g22 and I’ll probably never use any other gun unless it’s Glock!

Best Stock Trigger, huh? I think any Walther's (especially the PDP line) would beg to differ...Their stock triggers (as a whole) are second to none.
@@AmadeoZeller of Glocks, Mr reading comprehension, lol. Have you seen the topic of the vid you're watching? The best stock triggers of GLOCK generations
Facts..Gen 3 the best!!
@@AmadeoZeller Geez, lmao... when bringing other pistols in the conversation Glock isn't even top 15... how did you even think I meant that? It's literally insulting
🧢
Just bought a Glock 40 10mm for going hiking out west
I'm a "fanboy" of any brand I like to shoot. Glock pistols are reliable, that should be the only important feature of any cc gun. And they're fun to shoot. My favs are the 17, 19 and 23.
Glock 34 was my first pistol ever. It was love at first sight. Although I also love my Ruger .357 Blackhawk stainless, she's a beauty alright.
I have a Gen 21 45 caliber, love mine.😊
Glock guy here.
Specifically Glock 17 Gen 4
For me, it’s the end of an era of perfection.
I love the finger grooves,
And the smooth finish at the end of the slide.
I don’t know what’s going on with the Gen 5. I bought one to have, but I can’t stand the change in slide color.
And I especially can’t stand the front serrations:
It simply doesn’t look like a Glock.
I hope they bring back the smooth front end.
Glock 17 Gen 4
All day long.
Perfection in my hand.
Nothing feels the same …..
And most importantly,
She goes boom.
I own several glocks.
New and used.
NONE of them have ever had a single failure to fire or any hiccup of any kind.
I know, some folks gotta be contrarians and get an Sig, but for me it makes no sense to get a gun where the parts aren’t interchangeable.
Glock Perfection
ps: almost forgot :
I have a Kriss Vector and guess what?
(Takes Glock mags)
Perfect
Springfield makes a 10mm thats 3 times the quality for $50 cheaper.
@@MTMILITIAMAN7.62wow it’s ok to disagree but no sense in insulting someone.
Glock handguns definitely number one for me.
I carry a Taurus PT917CS, couldn't be any happier with it. 🙂
You just wanna be different.
Taurus? Ewww nah jk Taurus are cheap and reliable. I want a Tarus tx-22 and a 357 tarus revolver
I have been shooting and competing a long time and have used several different pistols for duty purposes as well. I want to hate Glocks, but they are dead reliable and I can pick one up and be deadly accurate with it right out of the box. They just flat work.
I carry a Glock 17 Gen4 for work and a Glock 43x as my personal carry. Love them both.
Im not a big fan of glock but i keep buying them for some weird reason!
G 19 ❤
I had the glock 19x but didn’t keep it for long because I couldn’t stand the awkward grip angle compared to the grip angle on my shadow systems mr920 elite
Depends on user experience. I have Beretta M9 and I am not sharper as the first scene. thats amazing I watched again and again.
Thank You sir, I can tell a good expert when I ce and hea 1. Nice vidio with some good helpful information and explanation.
I am an American boy of Autrian origin, that is why I love a Glock.
Tom Cruz was useing an HK45c in that scene
The gun used in the 'briefcase scene' in Collateral was an HK USP.
Can anyone rate glock 35 gen5 mos USA, ??
How good it is as compare to g17 gen5 and g45 gen5 9mm.
Looking forward to response.
I've never fired a glock in my life, I've always had smith & wesson, and I've never had an issue with any of mine I use it at the range alot, never once had an issue
stick with S&W, glocks are so over rated and prone to jamming.
Definitely great choice
Especially given the fact that Glocks are so customizable.
I agree except replace the glock 43x with the 26. Way more versatile and shorter same 10 rd grip.
My kid (of 30 years old) makes fun of my plastic gun, but I would not trade any of my Glocks.
I run Glocks. Easy and simple. Simple to clean. After you understood the trigger, it’s very simple. I like Beretta and 1911, but i run Glocks. Simple is the best.
I own 2. 17 and 22. Several years and I haven’t had a single issue. Glock is hard to beat for a daily.
The 19s & the 25s are awesome.
But you still have reliability of a Glock
Who makes a frame compensator for a GEN three Glock 31
Glocks undeniably have the best aftermarket support of any polymer framed, striker fired handgun. That established, you can buy a Glock 19 and spend hundreds of dollars customizing it, or you could just buy a Shadow Systems MR920, or a ZEV OZ9 and get the same gun right out of the box.
Your choice.
GlockGang™️ 😎😂💯🎯
In Collateral Vincent used in this scene a H&K USP 45 … and NOT a Glock!
My Glocks shoot just fine. I don’t need all of that after market BS-to each it’s own.
Glock's greatest feature is their marketing department.
I agree. I do prefer Sig Sauer.
I have all 3 of those Glocks💯💯💯🔥
Which one do you like the most?
what movie is that in the first 5 seconds?
I live in Commiefornia so the Glock 26 gen 3 is my favorite model because it doesn't come with a neutered cali legal 10rnd mag but instead comes with the original 10rnd mags it has always came with. Every other glock out here is capped at 10 rounds with special CA legal mags. God I wish I could leave Commiefornia! ✌️
My EDC is 43 my duty weapon 17 gen 5 . The only two pistols you need.
Their one main reason i lotve glock ! It always works and i can put my life on it. The same reason the AK is so popular
G19 , G34 , G20 💥💥💥
Never owned one but shot a few at the range. Not overly impressed. Would like to try a 19 with a red dot. 😉
I like mine just the way it is 👍😎
I want to know about G18!
The 3 guns in the video: G19 GEN 5, G17, G43X MOS
Tom Cruiz was shooting a hk usp 45 in the very beginning of the video, superior in every way
If Tom likes them that’s enough of a reason not to have one
Absolutely the most reliable pistol in the world hands down! I speak from first hand experience seeing tons of shooters on the range for many years!
The Toyota’s of guns
Unfortunately glock hasn't completely fixed the brass to face issue yet in 2022. I just bought a new 19x with this issue. I have a pretty good collection of handguns and don't have that problem with others. Anyone have any suggestions how to fix this? I really want to like this gun but glock is making it very hard when brass is beaning me in the forehead !
Glock 22, 23, and 27 are the most versatile Glocks because of the ability to shoot 9, 40, 357 Sig just with a barrel swap.
Love my G19 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
What is the name of that holster 4:55
Glock = Excellence.
Whats up im getting suggestions and asking other people this same question before I make up my mind based in the responses I get and information. I have a permit to carry concealed I own 2 glock 17 gen 3. I want another glock (just 1) I own 2 glock 17 gen 3s because I just love the 17 the gen 3 model to be exact. What should my next glock be? I only plan in getting a full-size. I like the bigger original full-size I just don't know what caliber. .357sig, .40S&W, .45auto, 10mm. Suggestions and thoughts? Its gonna be my carry and home defense as well. Thanks.
I have a G26.5 for my edc but, if you like the full hand feel, I think the 19.5 is just great. Shoots beautifully time after time.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 sureeeee
All the quality brands make fine firearms, so it's silly to try to degrade a brand when we all know they make good guns.
However, I recently bought a Taurus TH9C for $301, including louding tax. I text fired H&K and S&W, and I'm naturally an S& W guy.
For $500+ more, the others don't shoot any better than the Taurus. The trigger is a little gritty. The magazine release is not good. Once I get several hundred rounds through it, I'll get them worked on if they haven't broken in.
I have a hard time justifying a price tag 2x or 3x if I'm not shooting any better.
HK is overpriced for what you get the only upgrade I do to a Glock is night sights
Glock 19 Gen 5 best glock ever made.
Yes
Totally true I love mine…!
Everyone should own at least 1 Glock. Uber reliable.
Good analysis Pakistan
0:46 what a beauty
Got em all plus 15 more
I think everything has a practical application.
Glock, Simple, Reliable, And durable, A grand slam.
I own a Glock 30 but I’m more of a sig and beretta fan 🤷🏽everyone has there own taste
I suppose if you like the taste of shit
@@PuffDaddyGD56787opinions like assholes everybody has one.funny thing navy seals and other special forces use sig.not to mention beretta still to this day is being used by law enforcement and military
Glock is the only handgun worth owning
I use too hate Glocks into I saw held and shot a Glock 19x now I am a fanboy it’s always on my hip
The 19x turned me into a Glock fanboy as well I use to say that Glocks and High Points were the ugliest guns out there
5:45 Let's not forget the G44 that's chambered in 22lr.
I have glock 17 and I like it
Good for you. I will keep my berretas and cz's.
