Hey Patrick I gotcha man. I would seriously focus on finding the best vehicle for you personally to reach your goals! How much long do you have in the military?
One of the reasons this business has a bad rap is because of people's greed. They see how much money they can make in this industry and take the job. They hit some doors and realize it's not for them or they're not willing to put in the work. They get salty and go back to working at Walmart, telling anyone who will listen that solar is a scam. Then some random consumer says, "I know someone who used to work in solar and he says it's all a scam." The truth is, that guy who "used to work in solar" is an entitled jerk who is mad because someone didn't just hand him the six-figure salary that he felt entitled to. Regarding the comment, for every rep that stays in this industry, there's four or five former reps who just didn't cut it.
@@nottreyjackson considering the changes with NEM and the utility increase that ridiculous. Years ago a 17c PPA editions tier 1 was 19c …. We should be allowed to go up to 25c
Ugh, the red lines. Makes me sick. PPAs is how to make money. Leave your ethics out the door, take that tax credit from the homeowner and give them a 30% discount on their bill and all the other things that go along with the PPA. Sales reps can walk with more money on deal than the installing contractor makes for design, permitting, installation, and carrying the 25 year warranty. An installing contractor unless it's a big system won't make $11,000 GROSS profit on an installation. Sales reps ruin the industry in many ways. And it's the contractor's fault for whoring themselves out to lower and lower "red lines". Makes me sick
