I honestly have such respect for these types of UA-camrs. Spending their own money on guns and ammo in order to show the masses what’s worth while and what’s not. Thank you sir 💜
Appreciate you watching Danika

Awesome job, very informative!
@@WHOTEEWHO THEN if these youtubers are heros or something like - why they dont even Help me to get the info to build my gun ?
@@WHOTEEWHO I love you gave the price of the first bullet. How much were the other ones?
“Not with a two dollar bullet!” That is T-Shirt worthy
🤪🤪🤪👍👍
Well thank you for purchasing the rounds and giving us enjoyment during these rough times. Stay safe bro!
Thanks for watching Sean!
@@WHOTEEWHO man I hate spiders we has poisonous spiders called false widow spiders hybrid from black widow spiders 🕷 I love getting my BB gun shoot them 👍🇬🇧🐾🦊🇮🇹
"Shoot It!"
"Not with a two dollar bullet!"
🤣🤣🤣
🤪🤪🤪
12 Gage $2 a shot ain’t cheep maybe if you only shoot it once a year 😂 Constant range time at $2 a bullet is retarded
James_wingthwong_ Banks it didn’t seem to come out like I was thinking I was saying that $2 a bullet isn’t cheep on the spectrum of small arms and the price added of constant range time would be “retarded” not the act of buying $2 bullets
BOOOB. Vs ballistic gel .... and a wolf spider
Save the $2bullet for the godless camel crickets. They've earned it. A wolf spider isn't worth more than a 22lr.
My vote would go for the 454 Casull. Because even if you miss....the sound of a cannon and a 3 foot fireball makes a statement all its own.
💪💪💥💥💥
Same here, the power of the 454 Casull. It was the only one to violently move the gel :-)
Every time we fire a casull at the range We lough so hard!!! Everyone looks like a grenade just went off
The only problem with .454 over .45 colt is you can pull the trigger 10 times more with the .45 colt for the same price as 1 pull with the .454
10 shots from 45 colt will do a lot more damage than 1 shot from the .454
If I were shooting to save my life I don't think I would be thinking about the cost of ammunition for one second
454 casull is a hammer. My dad had one when I was a teenager in a Ruger super red hawk when it came out and he dropped couple deer and a bear with it. 👍
@John Alarcon depends on the load. Most cheap 45-70 is low pressure and yields 44 magnum performance in a revolver. Most 454 casull is above 44 magnum performance and some nips at the heels of 460 s&w magnum, it's STRONG medicine.
In a rifle, 454 is capable of doing as good or better than 450 bushmaster.
*edit* but to be fair, the toughest 45-70 loads are as powerful as any s&w 500 load.
@John Alarcon oh you don't have to convince me, I was focusing on standard loads. There are 45-70 loads that rival the smaller elephant gun cartridges.
I'm just saying, don't underestimate the 454. Loaded normally it can do impressive things.
@John Alarcon if you get a chance try it in a Raging Judge. It's a pussycat.
Easier to shoot than my model 29.
At the same time?😆
@John Alarcon oh that's right, California doesn't permit any judge firearms due to classifying then as short barreled shotguns.
LAME.
Good luck to you and God bless in this difficult time.
45 Colt is my favorite. It's powerful and accurate, but not overwhelming in a handgun or rifle.
When I find the raging judge I'm getting it just to have that 454 rd. Hornady makes some great 410 cartridges.
Man that was crazy!! I think the most impressive wound track was from the Buffalo Bore .45LC. However after looking at all the pulled bullets that Buffalo Bore looked almost like it did before it was shot. It just goes to show that expanding bullets are not the only way to cause serious tissue disruption.
Absolutely. Surprised me bigtime
I agree, those buffalo bores have my vote. I don't want an over penetrating round that could cause collateral damage.
🙌🙌🙌
The BB round made a huge divot in the gel block..... Goes to show that different bullet shapes can be very effective, even if the don't give textbook expansion.
You can get chamber liners to fit in your cylinder called short lanes or something that allow different cartridges to fire from your Raging Judge. 22 LR and it also shoots Shorts and Longs. 327 Federal magnum that also shoots 32 H&R magnum and 32 S&W and 32 Short and 32 Long. The 9mm and 380 Auto and 38 Special are also made into these liners.
XTP bullets don't expand as much as most other hollow points, so they penetrate more. "XTP® bullets were specifically designed to expand reliably at a wide range of handgun velocities to *deliver deep penetration* with every shot."
The lowly 410 with relatively inexpensive ammo penetrated pretty dang good. Not big expansion. Makes me wonder how other 410 slugs might perform. PS 1/4 oz equals 109.375 grains, not bad.
Thomas Flickinger I have skinned deer shot by them . At under 30 yards they fragment ( most times) further out they flatten out and most times the slug is under the far side of the skin . They pass through sometimes to. Still they hit hard either way . A 24 inch IC choke is ideal for velocity and accuracy. Brennekke makes a nice 410 load . It works with a almost solid slug with a plastic wad attached internally. Like a yard dart basically. They also turn up the heat as the slug is heavier and holds together better . They hit every bit as hard as a 357 / 44 mag shot from a carbine. The normal 3” win/ Rem riffed slugs do very well to. 2/3 round ball 00 Buck shot loaded in a solid brass case can be loaded very hot ( for ones own liking ) when fired from a strong action like a HnR single shot. Very divers , underrated and overlooked load!
Thank You for doing this it’s almost like I went with you guys.
I am glad you keep the videos going during coronavirus because my shooting range is closed for a while
Always appreciate you watching Arthur!!! Hopefully this will all be over soon
I heard that you can get chamber inserts to fire many different calibers in that gun. 45acp, 9mm even 22lr. Very versatile gun. You might need moon clips for some of them.
That 45lc would be a good round to get into reloading and casting your own rounds. They make molds for solid and hp and you can cast with soft lead or hard cast lead.
It's amazing how the cheapest bullets cost the most.
Jimmie Burleigh Absolutely! I can cast and load 150 heavy .45 Colt loads for about the same price as 20 of the Buffalo Bores.

@Zachary Peterson Democrats?
@Zachary Peterson The price of a gun is nothing when it comes to legal expenses. Cover you ass, both physically and legally.
Should have turned the blocks around for the second two shots.
Had one and loved it. One problem though, shot .454 225 grn solid coppers and it rolled the barrel. Taurus fixed it no issues. Ended up using in a trade. Now eyeballing the Raging Hunter .460.
This test came out real well. My only 410 is my 3.5" 45 Colt/410 3" Bond Arms barrel set that I got for my 45 ACP Texas Defender. That 410 slug did better than I thought it would though for 410 I will likely stick with the Federal 2.5" w/4 each 000 Buck shot. Mostly I keep the 3" 45 ACP barrels on it. Some people sneer at the 410 pistols but I like mine even if it isn't real practical. That Taurus Raging Judge looks much more practical. Thanks Who_Tee!
I went back to watch this upload again. You've go over 400k views very impressive WTW 👏
Thanks Randy
People like you are too passionate about shooting. You just love it. You will go on shooting just to keep your soul happy even if there is no video option. As of now you are making videos & editing & posting it just to buy some more rounds from UA-cam money & at the same time sharing your knowledge & experience with people at no cost. I wish you every success.
Honestly, that wound cavity of the "Buffalo Bore" lead bullet looks terrifying. Despite the round not really expanding (then again, the Hornady barely expanded more), the wound channel is much larger with the Buffalo Bore. Would be interesting to see the same Buffalo Bore rounds loaded with a .454.
Lol when you saw that 🕷️ I said shoot it! And then Paul did too!!! 😂
When he said “shoot it” I had never heard anyone say something so intelligent 😂
🤣🤣🤣
@@WHOTEEWHO You forgot to use your pistol, I pressume 9mm
Scrolled through most of the comments and can’t believe no one else noticed the 45 Colt lead hollow point was in the second block BACKWARDS! It didn’t expand because it hit the gel base first. The cylinder made for .410 makes the “short” 45 colt not stabilize and they tumble in the air. You should try them in a dedicated 45 colt revolver. I think you’d be impressed even more with their performance hitting nose first. They’ll likely double in diameter and make an even bigger permanent wound cavity.
Bullets often end up in gel backwards because they tumble in the gel. It doesn't mean it was already tumbling when it hit the block.
Do you think that the longer barrel, with possibly more velocity, would have resulted in better expansion or the hollow points?
Omg when he said shoot the wolf spider i busted out laughing 😄
I have the exact same pistol only in a blued finish. I also have a Raging Bull in 454 with the long barrel, I believe it is 8.375". I also have 3 S&W M29s with 6.5", 8.375" and 10" barrels. My experience has been that Smiths are better finished, both of the Taurus 454s are way more pleasant to shoot with full powered factory ammunition. If I could afford it I would be happy to spend an afternoon shooting either Taurus revolver. But my 72 year old wrists can not tolerate more than a few rounds of 44 Magnum in the Smiths. 454 in the Taurus's feels closer to 44 Special in the Smiths. I know that this is a lot of revolvers for one man, but if you spend over 55 years buying guns and almost never let one get away, you end up with a lot of cool guns.
My Super Redhawk .454 with the 9 3/4" barrel is no big deal shooting the .45 LC which is what that first round seemed like. The .454 rounds however are like bombs going off! I just love it! The more I shoot it the bigger my smile. My hand can get sore for a couple days but man!
Bigger the better!
Dang!....even BIG FOOT wouldn’t stand a chance with that 454 round!
I enjoy your work. Thanks for calling a .45 Colt as it headstamped. Long colt seems to be a new caliber. In modern firearms, you can reload the .45 to a magnum round. As well as the .30 wcf. Both are reloaded light to try to stop litigations
You know what I like most is that you stay strapped! Man after my own hear!!

Finally! The video that nobody needs but EVERYBODY wants to see!
Thanks for watching Dylan!
@@WHOTEEWHO Good stuff, always wondered how those calibers would compare in gel!
454 is a BEAST
“Not with a $2 bullet” lol 😂 great video!!
🤣🤣🤣
...not with a 2$ bullet...
got me laughing cause I'd say the same thing. Keep up the great videos!
🤪🤪🤪
It's nice to see you do the 45 Colt. A lot of people rag on that round for being under power and outdated. Personally I like it. This video just reinforced that.
People who say 45lc is underpowered are ignorant
I expected more from the 454. I wonder if that cylinder jump plus a short barrel wastes too much high pressure force delivering only 44 magnum performance.
Kind of a shame.
I LOVE mine, it's easy to shoot, nice trigger, accurate, weight tames recoil beautifully.
That 454 sure went like a rocket.
💥💥💥
Love that raging judge magnum. I have the 6.5 in. barrel version. Those 454 rounds ain't cheap, but they hurt so good!
I love it!
I've wanted that Raging Judge since it came out. Have you done a video showing the accuracy between. .454 Casull, .45 Colt and .410 slugs out of it? If not it would be interesting to see. Really enjoy the videos. Thanks.
Sweet video! Thank you. I was wanting to see if I could reload some cheap 410 birdshot shells with an appropriate slug to use for cheap plinking. I will probably have to shorten the 410 shells to fit in a 460. I know the 454 and 460 bullets are expensive, like you said. I may want to get a Raging Judge Magnum though!
The 45 colt was a good store bought round until the judge revolvers came out and the weekend warriors bought them and complained that the recoil was to much, the ammo companies cut the load power way down, ballisticly speaking their as week as a 9mm in some cases, I had to go to hand loading mine to get the power back.
The judge loses pressure and velocity due to the giant chamber.
the slow mo on the 454 casull is insane
I can't believe when trying to remember where you saw the first bullet , that you did not notice that it had reversed itself. That is what caused the impressive wound channel. It also makes you wonder what made it tumble, no??
@ispumpkinking I certainly can't, or won't argue with that!! I only comment when it appears the "expert" presupposed something not real.
I have the public defender judge ! Love it. That Kazul round is a powerhouse !
Great video who tee who keep up the amazing work and god bless you
Thanks for watching William!
The Rageing Judge Magnum is a regular and seeing it never gets old!

The wound channel from the Buffalo Bore was scary. My roommate picked up some of the same ammo for his Governor (on sale, just two days ago) and he said it was only about $1.35 per round. Going to show him this video later today. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching!
"There's a spider"
"Shoot em!" Lol
I run Hornady 240 grain JHP in 454 Casull through my Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan. That"s one hot load.
I talked to my Grandma and she said that you should flip the block over, you are shooting above center, so, make a new center.
she also said you should wear your galoshes if you are in the grass with spiders.
The next time you melt your gel, add about a 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide after it's fully melted,, stir it in well, then pour through a paint filter to remove the debris.
Paul's comment from the sideline 🕷 "SHOOT IT" made me laugh out loud, great revolver and great video.
🤪🤪🤪 I am not a spider fan!
Enjoyed the video, and the path as you called it is the permeant wound channel, the temporary wound channel is what we see on video as the projectile travels through the jell
From my understanding, the XTP bullet is supposed to expand *just enough to curl and drive deep. It's not a typical defensive hollow point. It's supposed to penetrate deep. The XTP is my carry ammo in 45acp, 44mag and 380acp
Yeah, that is my understanding, too - like it is intended more for hunting than self defense. Not that it would necessarily be bad for SD.
Classic. The Judge always shoots high with bullets. That's just how the sights are from the factory.
because that gun shoots 410 and 45, this means you can shoot, 444, and 4570 if the shell clears fro length, if the shell is to long you can`t get a shell fired. I used to buy 410 slugs but they are about $27.00 for 6-8, forget how many in a box but not many, a box of 444s cost $3-4 dollars more but you get 20 and can choose grain, i was going to use 4570 but they are maybe $5.00 more than 444s but still way cheaper than 410 slugs and of course you can get a good variety of grain choices.
I have no idea why, but seeing you load fresh rounds in next to already spent cartridges bugged me for a second. Totally makes more sense than dumping each one out individually though
This video was also worth my time, thanks!
I have some other loads to compare for myself.
We got a guy in our reloading group on Facebook who’s pushing 454 Casul all the way out 3000+fps he has a UA-cam channel the names slipping my mind but if you look you’ll find him
I have the same revolver but the blued version. Do you actually carry yours?? Thing is like a boat anchor lol. I have a shoulder rig for mine and I carry it when on the farm and the mower but sometimes I think should have gotten the regular judge lol
Love my Judge, did not go with the .454,, because my wife had trouble with the weight of the big boy
💪💪
Rounds that don't expand but only penetrate are FMJ
Impact force can create a wound cavity, but expansion is there for a reason.
Less penetration. More damage. Whoo Hoo !
👍👍
Sonnova! Nice green grass to shoot in? We just got 2 inches of snow. That judge is a beast. I’ve got a regular one that I’ve loaded some really hot 45 colt for. I’d love to see some pdxi .410 in that gel.
Awesome! Havent heard of that 410
Hey Hoss, how many jerket squerkets do you get out of that gel block after you shoot it?
I accidentally discharged mine, and it went through 5 of my neighbor ahmeds goats that were lined up at the feeder. It cost me a small fortune to replace the goats with 2 camels (male & female) and 3 sheep. However your post, as always, rocks.
1st time viewer. I agree about the BB being the best carry ammo for the same reasons stated. I suggest getting one of those LED work lights that is about a 12" bar to put behind your jell to better see the results. Probably, could catch one on sale at Harbor Freight if they ever have a weekend sale again... that was a joke to HF regulars who know that HF has a "BIG" sale EVERY freaking weekend. lol
Edit: Already a big thumbs up for this video... checked out previous videos and now subbed. :)
Thanks for watching! Yup we have a harbor freight! Good idea
I just acquired one from my grandfather he handed it to me before he passed away it's never going anywhere
That first 45 would be my choice for HD. Great energy transfer upon impact. That’s the stopping power one needs.
Basically you only need to know what you are trying to accomplish with your round. Deep penetration, large wound channel, big time defragmentation, most amount of energy transfer. Animals don't shoot back. Some animals will charge after getting shot if shot in not the best place to put them down.
For home protection a large slow frangible round is best. Ballistic gel test only tell of kinetic energy if all things are equal. The most inches thru the gel does not denote best. A round that causes the most damage is the best.
Paul is my hero! Nice video! Thanks for sharing!
Paul is the man!
Shoot the spider!!!!! LOL Hillarious!
🤪🤪🤪
The good old 45 Colt shows the new kids on the block how it's done 👍🏻
Gotta love the 45 colt
P.S. 454s will do major penetration with a 230gr. or higher.
Great video Hoo-Tee, moving up from paper plates to ballistics gel 😄👍
🤪🤪🤪
Well Hank., at least you can sell propane, and propane accessories
Dangit bobby
Boy I tell you wwhat
Well you'll have that.
I have carried and chronographed 165grn. +P .45acp never into jell. 1,000-1,200 if I recall correctly.
I'm loading 45colt with hornsby xrp bullets . Costs a maximum 50 cents pr round. I bought about 50 rounds for 1.50 each & soon learned that was a major waste of ka-jing.
Constructing criticism, dont get stingy on the gel blocks, get 2 for each bullet, no confusion about which bullet is which. Thanks for the vid.
These blocks cost $150 each. So the 2 blocks we used cost me $300. I cannot afford what u are suggesting. I am just a regular ol dude and pay for all of this myself
410 in Triple 000 Buck is no joke! It's tinny but mighty! Never confuse 410 bird shot with 410 000 Buck.
You know before that last video of yours, I thought you had to do some mods on it for it to shoot one or another. Turns out it shoots straight outta factory.
Nope straight outta the box
My 513 arrives in 12 days, thanks for the vids WHOTEEWHO it's the only fix I have until then
I am guessing the BB is either 225, 250, or 260 gr. I was surprised there was no expansion- most of their lead hp's are cast soft. For example, their 190 gr 44 Spl load really looks like a winner. They have some full wadcutters that look interesting as well. For a jacketed 45 Colt round, the Win PDX-1 seems to do well. No surprise on the XTP- they need some velocity and expand a little more slowly than most. A very good hunting bullet. The purpose of 410 slugs escapes me. They say fraction of an oz because that sounds more impressive- 1/4 oz is 109 point something gr. Yes it has the energy of a 357 Mag technically (from a shotgun length barrel), but they are light and dubious. They used to be 1/5 oz which is only 87 point something gr. So keep all that in mind.
I have a judge public defender stainless steel Rosewood grips which I had called Taurus on this about what I could shoot out of it and what I couldn't you could shoot 45 Long Colt and 410 shotshell did not recommend that you shoot slugs out of it which I see that you have the Raging Judge so they probably changed that the way you can shoot slugs out of a 410 y'all keep up the good work
Thanks for watching Les!
You can shoot anything out of the raging judge, the 454 has more pressure then any other round you can put in it. I have the polymer judge and I shoot slugs all day long outta mine with no problems at all. I love these guns
Would be fun to see an additional shot from the .460 S&W Magnum. Flip the blocks around and shoot it at the back one. I own that revolver and it's an absolute monster.
Look, one of them spiders SHOOT EM' cracked me up
🕷
If it didn't shoot such oddball rounds it would make a great apocalypse gun, good luck scavenging any of those rounds.. that will not stop me from getting one
Who_Tee_Who love your down to earth videos !
Appreciate you watching Carlos!
Whooo Teee Whoooo... I know alot of people dont really like the Judge but I luv mine just for messing around in the yard, my friend actually showed me how to file the tolerance on the back of the frame where the hand and firing pin comes out from then I ordered some 455 tracker moonclips from Ebay and now 45acp works great from it as well, I mean its definitely not a concealed carry weapon but for the occasional black bear, coyotes, and just incase well I'm working the forest or garden its perfect for my needs..
I love the judge
Almost 100k subs, congrats!
🙌🙌🙌
Ohhhhhh baby, I just got all tingly when I saw the name of the video. Instant thumbs up (unless you pushed for 45 lc as more powerful than 454 casull lol I would highly doubt that. Effective, yes... Stronger 😂😅😂🙃) let's get it. Yeeehaa boys
Hey 13th!!!
Outstanding video i really enjoyed the video
Thanks for watching James!
To get the most out of a 454 you need a longer barrel and a shorter cylinder, the difference is like night and day.
410, opened, loaded hot, cuts on the lead, wax seal. Cheaper, and a whole truck stop of wham
Greetings from South Africa. Thanks for the video.
MY RANGE MAKES US SHOOT 454 AT THE RIFLE RANGE. LOVE THAT ROUND! GOOD VIDEO.
Those BB bullets Tumble thru the air in my exact Judge. If you shoot paper you can see the key hole.
