That's the fuel setup I want on my next build! I will be calling in the near future for more details and to order parts....once I get the rest of the sheet metal taken care of. Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
That is a nice set up . Was thinking doing the same . Run 92 on street then switch over to 1to1 ratio on meth and fuel when running nitrous. The fuel psi at mo is 40 ish psi on the fuel and 950 psi on bottal . So it's jetted at 2 to 1 ratio. 50 fuel jet 100 nos jet could go leener 3to1 but staying on the rich side. But with your set up adding meth will mean I don't need to back the timing so I don't loss BHP top end if i don't spray. As when racing I don't always need the gas only if I am lossing lol . But great vid
@@DuheSpeedShop I've already got that figured out! I've had my duel fuel system on my car since 2006. Automatic switching from street pump gas to 116 octane race gas. It does it on-the-fly! All you have to do is fabricate a dual injector per cylinder intake manifold, two fuel rails & 2 fuel tanks. Then set up your injector harness so that you can switch the battery + power side of each injector set so that way it automatically switches from low octane to high octane injectors. Would you run the pump with engine off to evacuate the left over pump gas into the return as not to contaminate the race fuel by letting the leftover pump gas return into the race tank? Or does it really matter? I wanna do same thing with methanol.. but afraid pump will taint it after doing this a few times... plus my methanol tank is tiny like 3 gal.
Hey, im trying to mount the 5.0 aeromotive pump on a grand national and I noticed you have yours mounted higher than the pick up or lowest part of the tank, is that an issue i should be concerned about? Im trying to make a clean install but I don’t want the fuel pump fully exposed to someone driving behind the car and i feel that if i mount the pump to the lowest part of the sump its gona be too low where it’ll look like it’s falling off
How do you not cross contaminate each cell when switching one valve on and closing the other? Wouldn't pump gas get into your race gas cell thru the return?
I got that figured out. Go here to check out how I made mine work. It automatically switches over from low octane to high octane on-the-fly. No fuel cross contamination. Just nail the throttle and it does everything for you! THE BEST mod I've EVER done to my car. www.turbomalibu.com/malibu-dualfuelsystem.html Video of it automatically switching. ua-cam.com/video/5i2XqJUe2bg/v-deo.html

You’re the man 💪🏻
It's 2020, turn your phone sideways !!
Nice set up. Looks super clean and easy to use. What’s the power plant?
Where’d you get fuel cell
How do you avoid cross contamination ? Do you have a flow valve at the Y juntion where the return's split to each fuel tank?
That’s what I’m trying to figure out

I like that setup, how many volts to the pump when its at 1.3gpm?
12v to pump power / 0v to controler

What race fuel do you run
Hello Doug, how do you have the pre filter connected to the pump? 12ORB X 12ORB? or 12 an coupling?
Does the pump need to be installed slightly lower than the fuel pick up point of the tank?
Felix Gonzalez it does not, but if you can it will help things for sure! We have Been running the car like this and it’s definitely no issue
@@MotionRaceworksOfficial Nice, it gives more mounting and routing options for sure. Thanks for the info.
Who made the fuel tank setup for you?

Exactly what i was thinking unless he has a valve at a Y junction near the rail too?

Got to 73 Nova want to see on videos on this car where did you get the tank
That was a custom fabbed tank. I don’t think you can just buy that anywhere.
that car is Bad to the bone
