This video is genius. I had been working on width, and your comment to the student about stopping the right hand and right shoulder together has completely removed my hit impulse and kept me connected in my DS
    Thanks!

This was probably the best instruction I'v ever seen of a proper backswing (and I'v seen a lot). Phenomenal.
Now, it's just the downswing left...

I have not rated your lessons over the last few weeks but I find a need to say how phenomenal the lessons have been. Just when I think I understand the back swing you hit me with another golden nugget. This could be because each student's needs are different. When I look at all these lessons as a whole I think I have learned a lot. Can not wait till spring when I will be able to fully apply all your lessons.

Really enjoyed seeing you work with a lefty, as I am a lefty myself. Going to work on the width in my backswing during winter training

your videos are the best. i watch a variety of golf coaches on youtube and my swing felt the best it ever did after finding your channel a few months ago. However, the other coaches i watch influenced me and my swing started to feel like crap and disconnect. Last night i rewatched a bunch of your videos and went to the range this morning. I was hitting the ball so solid again.

Great to hear Bryan! We always preach simplicity through a connected swing. That is the recipe for success!

Hi Adam. This really resonates with me, especially the first "L" below the waist. Like lots of golfers, I can hit the ball really well at times, but adhering to this will help get the consistency of strike. I really enjoy the effort you go to in explanation of the shot. Keep up the great work. ( Gordon from Scotland)

So good to watch your work. I was fortunate enough to briefly catch up with a coach at the end of last Summer who fixed my problems that other coaches had not pinpointed so that my handicap and scores started to drop. He analysed the problems in 10 minutes and changed my weight transfer and setup. He had been influenced by the legendary Bob Torrance and also been a very respected coach in Dubai for some years. He is still young. Can still find his stuff on Golf Digest clips. The thing is that he and you use the same methods and it is the best coaching as proven by all comments here. The other UA-cam coaching comes nowhere near this quality and he agreed your methods and his are so similar. Now that he has moved on I can look forward to further reducing my scores thanks to you. I never subscribe to coaches but you are the exception. Went out last week and hit the ball better than ever and in a comp yesterday was going great but let it unravel in back nine. Came back on here and can see immediately what helps stop this. Looking forward to practicing and playing every time now here in Cardiff, Wales so please keep it coming. Top class - thanks

Been watching your videos for months now as they compliment the way my coach teaches me perfectly and sometimes just the smallest comment helps the penny drop. Why the hell you don’t have 1mil plus subs is a mystery.

AP, on point as usual, totally guilty of pre-mature shoulder compression. Definitely, a killer when that sneaks in there off a tee. Thanks for the video Adam, always bringing it! 🤙🏻

There’s a lot of dichotomy in golf instruction today. Some teach wide with little hinge at waist high with lag thru transition. Others such as yourself teach early hinge and rotation to top. Why do you feel your approach is the ‘right’ way? Love all your vids and has an awesome lesson with Mike back in dec. thanks guys!

Great content. Really enjoy your videos. Best teacher out there. Really wish I could make a trip to San Diego. All of your instruction is clear, but I have questions about the hip bump that’s not clear to me. Is the bump just in a single axis toward the target side where your just positioning more weight on the left side along with getting the spine angle , or is it a bump in multiple planes like toward target as well as up and back with the left butt cheek? Not clear to me from the videos.

His before is exactly what I see on my swing. I've been working on just 3/4 swing and try to tuck in the elbow. Can hit pure shots but still feel like limiting myself. Think I just need to turn a little more at that point. Will give this a try!

Focusing on keeping the right elbow rotated in toward the left arm is key for me. If i lose focus and get lazy with it my arms get pinned behind and i lose posture and fat it or thin it. I was also a serial slicer so i really need to focus and driving the left arm underneath my body at transition to return my hands through the address position. If i dont feel them going under hard i end up bringing them through further out from my body and i slice

Hallo Adam, I like your videos, Style of teaching and your technical approach to the swing a lot! One specific question: assumed that your Player has all technical points allmost as you want it, equipment and fitness level is also quite maxed out, but he wants you to make him 15 yards per club longer. What is your approach for more speed? transition, downswing, impact zone? Specific drills? Thank you in advance. Greetings from Germany 😀

Playing from the left side myself I pulled the club low and behind me on the takeaway. I then lift the club to the top and end up with a cup right wrist. Any tips that could help me keep my trail arm / elbow tucked and in front of on the backswing. Great video thanks !

we prefer square! the only time we open or close the face at address is if we are trying to achieve a certain shot shape (draw or fade)

This is my achilles heel for sure. Getting tight behind my body. (Lack of flexibility??) My lead arm gets bent I got to have that feeling of pushing away but still keeping my trail elbow close to the body. Oh the golf swing !!

      @PorzakGolf  Рік тому

Make sure at address both of your arms are a little bit more on top of your chest instead on the side of your chest. It’s gonna be a big help.
