    EGS has done it again. I got on the EGS train about a month or so ago after seeing you on Milo Line’s channel. You have completely overhauled & simplified my swing in that time. I’m already hitting the ball better by adopting a system that fits my “athletic dna.” This video specifically encapsulates a ton of stuff, including a shallowing approach that I can understand as well as explaining how body movements can trigger the correct scapula movement. Please keep it coming (short game, anyone?).

    It's crazy how "automatic" my hips have become since switching to focusing on upper body movement... No more spin out! And more importantly I'm releasing the club (properly) without fear for perhaps the first time in my life! I noticed the massive clubhead speed increase because of that. Thanks guys.

    I’m mixing and matching videos but hope you will answer this. Relative to the “distance wedge” swing where the backswing is essentially left arm adduction, is it safe to say that left scapular protraction will achieve the left arm adduction desired? For whatever reason I can’t adduct the left arm without everything else turning too. When I just focus on protracting the left scapula, I don’t have that issue. Ultimately if I’m going down a bad rabbit hole with this, I’d like to know ASAP. Thank you in advance and thank you for all the great info!

    such good content! Been talking like this with my golf friends for years, and we are all just out of touch with enough anatomical knowledge to truly have a discussion on this level, with the sport knowledge we already know to be true. The idea of a biomechanical process that is optimal for the person not the motion is something i have always liked and been implementing in bowling successfully out of a pro-shop since me and my college coach started the discussion years ago. Spreading the word about content like this any time i can! thank you so much for sharing the knowledge!

    Another winner gentlemen. Better players love under plane. But this can be problematic when taken too far. Understanding the T & C spine load is huge. When you got to the pectoral/rib spiral is when I could relate big time. The Ribcage Slinging the Humerus is Huge. Once the club has risen and has begun to fall (above/below) the plane, you can cover the ball with the right pectoral. That simple thought, stops you from being too far under or over. In order to cover you have to engage the entire spiral lines and the Scapulars will behave nicely. Well done!

    Riley, a suggestion: please, in some future videos, show YOUR swing - full speed and slow motion - from face-on and down-the-line, with a wedge and a driver. That way we can see the swing you are teaching exactly the way you swing it. That wholeness can help unify the dynamic parts you are teaching so well.

  • @tomn5188

    A question - it has always seemed to me that when you guys talk about rotating the ribs that the ribs have very little rotation they can do independent of the pelvis. However, if you include the motion of the trail scap retracting and then protracting (while the lead scap does the complimentary motion) the ribs appear to have a wide range of motion. Is this the rotation of the ribs you are trying to get us to understand? If this is true, then the pelvis/legs are bracing us as we deliver the club and then act as a shock absorber to allow us to decelerate safely. Am I getting it? Or, is this a rabbit hole? Many thanks for the video.

      Yeah baby! Shapes!

    • @sagsupply2009
      @sagsupply2009 11 місяців тому

      this is a brilliant move. pulling the trail scapula is a great way to move your backswing but the circle is amazing and almost completes the swing. adding a small drop or squat at the start of the downswing assimilates perfectly with the scapula circle....then since the squat is moving down on trail side... the opposite move is slingshotting the body up through impact which adds speed and thus distance. thank you
