  • Thank you for visiting my usual weekday video.
I wanted to film the summer preparation on that day, but it was cool and started raining... Instead, I needed to go to launderette. I love to go there and read a book while I wait for my laundry to dry.
For lunch I cooked veggie chicken tempura and udon.
My husband and my son were at home, so we enjoyed lunch together.
After taking a nap, I wrote a blog and updated my homepage.
    And cooked dinner.
I cooked leek egg roll and stir-fried potatoes and chicken with butter and consomme.
🩵Stir-fried potatoes and chicken with butter and consomme🩵
    butter
    chicken
    potatoes
    salt
    consomme
    water
    Japanese sake
And I worked for about 6 hours after that.
    .................................................................
At night, I had some beer my husband gave me❤️
It stopped raining at night, and I enjoyed the rainy season night with a beautiful porch wet from the rain.
Thank you for watching and commenting me.
I always love to read your comments.
I hope you'll enjoy my usual weekday.
    Love♡tomomo

Wishing the best for your mother. The idea of kotodama is really interesting. "Couldn't be better" is like a self-affirmation. I like it. I will think about that this week and how what we say affects our health and mood. I will tell you a little about life here. It is a holiday weekend: both Canada Day and US Independence Day. We will have barbequed chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans. If it doesn't rain, we will have hotdogs and smores cooked on a campfire. Most people will have 4 days off work or more. It's almost firefly season here which I think is one of the best parts of summer. I enjoy summer because it is so short where I live. Your cats make me smile. My cat likes to sit in the window and glare at the birds. She would like it if I let her outside to try to catch one but she needs to stay inside to be safe--too many fast cars. Thank you for another conversation. I enjoy these more than I can say.

Hi, Leah! Thank you for your kind word, my mother is still waiting for the result. I'm happy to hear that you liked the Kotodama. I believe Kotodama is there, and it is very similar to "out of the mouth comes evil".
Happy Holiday to you! I assume you are celebrating the holiday now. I looked up the "smores" and I realized that I've had one when I was in Canada. My friend held a pool party and had a campfire...I didn't realized until today, but it may be Canada day.
You have a cat too❤️ Wow, I love all cats in the world, not kidding. Your cat is safe in your house, eh? My cats too. I want them to be safe, so they only can go to our small yard.
Thank you for writing me. I'm so happy to read your message. Happy holiday and have a great weekend!

Hola Tomomo! Thank you very much for your video, I loved it. It has caught my attention that to authorize your daughter to go to the pool you put a stamp instead of a signature, I imagine that each family has a different stamp (I remember this in an episode of Shin-chan, the mother put a stamp when she received a package..)Did you design the stamp? This is super curious, here we always put a signature.
It has caught my attention also, that your daughter has numbers written on the occidental style in her school books. In addition, she has a beautiful backpack with a very beautiful color.🤩
I am glad that you and your family had a great day celebrating Father's Day, here in Spain it is celebrated on March 19th, the day of Saint Joseph ( San José), who was the husband of the Virgin Mary and who raised Jesus without being his biological father, for San José is coming on Father's Day.
Regarding the school holidays, here they ended on June 21st and classes do not begin until September 6th, there are many holidays! This happens in Spain, in other European countries there are not so many days together in summer.
About the domestic clothes dryer, I have one, but I only use it on some winter days, the reason is that it consumes a lot of electricity and the clothes get a bit damaged, but in your humid climate at these days I understand that it is necessary to dry clothes before they get bad smells, which I hate. Do you use perfume pearls in the washing machine? sometimes it works a little.
I loved the story of Onkuro-dano-unjaku-sowaka, I wish people here were more careful in public baths and you always find them clean. I like to always have the bathroom clean, I'm not a super maniac with cleanliness, but it's essential that bathrooms are very clean, I use a lot of bleach. This story of the talisman reminded me of a Roman goddess (the Romans had a god or goddess for everything) they have a goddess so that sewers and drain would work well, her name is Cloacina.
Roman coins were minted with the goddess cloacina (and other gods too) I leave you images in case you are curious
    www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=diosa+cloacina&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiBrs76zur_AhUAU6QEHaP1DYsQ0pQJegQIChAB&biw=1280&bih=527&dpr=1.25
In Spain we descend from Romans who invaded us (like almost all Europe) and our language has a Roman Latin root and our name of sewers is “cloaca” in roman language was “cloacina”, practically the same root.
About the San Juan Herbs, you ask me if “flowers and leaves = herbs”, not all of them, google images sometime mix de references, the 7 herbs that are used are these:(I hope I have found the correct translation into English) Romero (pilgrimage)Hipérico (Hypericum) Hierba Luisa (lemon verbena)Malva (mallow) Helecho (fern) Hinojo (fennel)and finally Retama(broom shrub) some plants have flowers and other not.
Last weekend we went to have the porras for breakfast, and after we tried to take a walk through the stores, but I didn't remember that it was the first day of summer sales and there were a lot of people, conclusion... I didn't buy anything, impossible.
About hapiness, I think that what makes you happy is to love and be loved. Any other issue cames later. The important part is not the job, but the persons that do it.🥰
As always I have written too much, sorry!🙏
I hope your mother has good health news, we send her our best wishes from a distance.
Take care of yourselves, I send you a big hug, another one for your family and for the precious kittens.😘

Hola! Silvia. Thank you for writing me again, I really enjoy reading your message every time.
About stamp...yes, we have each family stamp. The surname is engraved in kanji on the stamps. We need last name stamps for important documents such as banks or city halls... Foreigners living in Japan also need make stamps with their surnames in katakana engraved on them. You san shin-chan❤️ Yes, in the past, when a parcel delivery arrived, we need to stamp it, but now a signature is OK.
About my daughter's backpack, it is called Randoseru. It is a special hard backpack for elementary school students. Every students must have one. In the past, all Randoseru for girls were red, and all the ones for boys were black, but recently there's more variety I the colors. They're usually made of artificial leather and designed to be just the right size for textbooks and notebooks!
Very very interesting to read about Cloacina, and she is very beautiful. Thank you for teaching me your culture every time, and the herbs too!
Now we have summer sales everywhere!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
And you are totally right about happiness♡
      Love is everything right?
I'm looking forward to talking with you soon!
      Love♡tomomo

Hi My Name isn't what's important But it is Daniel and I am 19 year's old. I just wanted to let your son know as someone who has recently started working for almost a year. That work is important to sustain yourself and it's best to find work that you enjoy doing. I learnt the hard way, For the first few month doing work that was higher paying and less stable caused me to lose lots of weight because of stress and the hours weren't the best which made me unhealthy. But once I found a job that in the end may not pay as much but got more hours and allowed me to enjoy work, Allowed for me to recover and healthy again. Work does not have to be the end you could always whilst after work in your free time create something that has a meaning or is useful to someone and in the future it can become something far more than you could have expected. On the side I am trying to understand coding to create things that could be useful as a business and hopefully be able to run that to sustain myself. Hopefully create a sizable fortune that isn't restricted by hours but instead effort which would allow me to retire early instead of spending a majority of time working which is what I am trying to decrease. anyways good luck you got this. also if you are afraid of a business firstly understand that there is many types that can allow for your preferred style which can decrease how much you work and it's a good idea to brainstorm about the kinds of business that exist and can in theory be operated by a small and dedicated team you don't need to make some giant company just once to sustain yourself and your loved ones. if it becomes something greater than either continue it or increase the value of that company and create a exit plan that would be able to set you for life. Hope this helps out or reaches anyone that reads this that have these concerns.

Hi, Daniel! Thank you so much for watching and sharing your private experience. That means a lot. Actually it was my boy student not my son, but whatever that is, what you wrote about your journey is very beautiful. I'm glad that you found enjoyment of your work😇.
