It's 2024 and had this song going around in my head all day. Had to come and listen to it again. 😁
Don`t advocate it but the first time i heard this beautiful piece of music i was somewhat out of my head ad it took it to a whole new level which still remains in my memories 40+ years later , absolutely beautiful track , Thank you Donna , as good today as it`s always been .

Very seldom do I prefer someone else singing a song to the original artist (Vangelis) but this version by a fabulous lady wins for me, I also love Vangelis singing it but Donna Summer is totally superb.
I absolutely love , Jon and Vangelis,,, brilliant and unequalled!! HOWEVER ,, is this really theirs,, ???? There are other claims to it that are equally brilliant ,, checkout.....River Ocean - State of Independence - Original Version??? It is also awesome!! But who's is the real original??

you can find billie jean demos from michael from 1981, the donna summer album was recorded in 1981. Don't forget that Quincy Jones is in a cold war with the michael jackson's estate. (lawsuits).
