I enjoyed and watched most of you're video. I also decided I wanted a seat post for my Rad Runner plus and the plush seat like something you showed. I purchased a few items from you're link via Amazon and they arrived very quickly. Currently at the beginning of September the Rad Runner Plus was in stack and in theory FED EX will get it to me only 7 days after my order, but they had a delay and I may have to wait a few more days. My accessories came before the bike and I started to look at them and try them out on my old pedal bike which is a standard bike from 2015. SATARI SUSPENSION SEAT WORKS WELL - A little stiff for me. The Satari suspension seat post worked out well but it has a bracket and you have to remove the seat post brackets from the seat to hook the bracket on top of the suspension seat post to the bottom springs of the seat. That's a little extra work and okay. SEAT WILL NOT FIT THE SEAT POST- This seat won't fit the seat post maybe they changed the spacing of the springs. (I returned it.) The problem is this seat at least the one I got had springs spaced maybe 5mm further apart than standard seats. This means either the Satari post has a bracket that is to small or the springs are not the standard tolerance width and won't work with it. I didn't know if the post or the seat was to blame. I took the standard Schwinn seat off my pedal bike and removed the mounting hardware and the springs fit the Satari Seat post bracket perfectly and I ended up testing out the suspension seat post on the pedal bike, and I like it. The seat therefore currently won't work with the seat post. Maybe the one you got worked and maybe the Chinese makers changed the seat since you purchased one or I got some kind of out of spec seat from them. But this seat definitely won't work and could not be mounted on the seat post. I guess I'll go with some kind of name brand like Cloud 9 seat instead. To be sure I'll probably pedal to a local bike shop and take the seat post with me and insure a seat fits the standard sized bracket on the Satari seat post rather than go through the hassle. It was not a big deal. The other thing interesting about the Satari seat post to me is it seemed quite stiff for me but I only weigh 135 lbs. I couldn't even press it down before it was in the old pedal bike and set the preload to the weakest setting before putting it it. It does work and it's quite nice, but it's a little stiff for me and only goes down about 1/2 an inch which isn't much . Maybe they make different load springs for different weights. Maybe after some use the springs will get softer, but I doubt that. So this seat post might be rated for a heavier rider than me. I like it and will keep it but it's something to keep in mind. If you are a lightweight rider you might want to look for suspension posts that might be rated for lower weight riders. I'm rather new to the suspension seat post game as I'm old school but my back and neck can use less jarring. My old Schwinn seat was a bit weak but tilted a bit forward with the old standard post which the previous owner had setup that way which was less than optimal. The Satari puts the seat in a standard position which is not tilted as much and the standard Schwinn seat is not as bad as it was with the other seat post and the rather quirky seat arraignment by the former owner. My old Schwinn cruiser has been my main ride for a couple of weeks due to my truck having wiring issues and none of the shops were able to repair it yet. I've been without a truck for 6 weeks now and have been walking and rollerblading and now some bike riding for 2 weeks. I had my oversized Schwinn bike given to me by a friend because I gave away both of my older bikes as I was not bike riding. Then when my F150 truck started acting up I didn't have a ride and have been on foot, roller blades and bike since then. I don't want to buy a used car or van and inherit other people's problems but I may have to eventually or buy a new car. But I'm retired and drive only 3000 to 4000 miles a years for errands. As I don't have to drive much I can't justify a new car, but I may buy a new Ford Maverick truck. However a new car will last me in theory my lifetime and more than it. So it's difficult to justify buying a new vehicle when you barely use it. So an ebike may bridge the gap and even reduce the need for a car more for groceries and some errands. I'm getting a Rad Runner Plus. And depending on how the truck repairs for CHASSIS wiring issues goes, I may keep my F150 or eventually get a different vehicle. While it's warm out in Michigan I'll be doing most of my errand via a RAD RUNNER PLUS hopefully.
After viewing this I cancelled my radunner plus preorder and bought an aerial rider d class. It seems more cost efficient if top end is desired as it it will do 33-35 mph. A bit more up front but the stock front forks, all wheel drive, fully hydraulic brakes and seven gears plus the Japanese DAPU motors (front and rear) sold me. It would be interesting to hear your “all in” cost at this point however. Thanks for the info.
Hi, the Aerial Rider D class bike looks great..... the one thing I would check on; is this bike street legal where you live. A lot of area’s restrict you to a maximum of 750 watts in total, and it looks like the D class has two 750 watt motors. 😃
lol that bike is sick but not street legal at all also its fucking terrible to actually pedal- that's one of those "legal grey area e moto" styles with that body frame and power.
Great video. I'm considering getting the same battery to complete the trifecta on my radrunner. Can you tell me how much the 52volt battery increased your top speed?
Hi, appreciate old video but have a very similar setup! Could you share how you've mounted the display buttons with you display down low? Did you have to do something with the tiny cable between the buttons and the display to bring it up nearer the handlebars?
i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Alejandro Armando thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Can you do a 3 speed upgrade with the stock motor, or do we need to upgrade motor to make it work? I saw you posted the spacer but not the 3 speed you used?
One guy on the rad mods fb stretched out the back fork to fit in the bolton 750w motor with all the gears and installed a derailleur and it works perfectly. What was your process in getting the axel to fit on there because I don't think is a way around widening the back fork to make room for a new motor.
Hey , what did you do to successfully swap the motor , im looking to upgrade my radrunner to the 750w but its a 175mm and the bike says 170mm so how did u do it and what exactly will i need ?
I recently purchased a bafang true 750w , and as you mentioned the changing of the motors is difficult as dropout is 5mm smaller , so any tips on the swap?
Could you tell me what size you purchased for the quick release seat lock? I ordered the RadRunner and would like to order this so it is here when the Radrunner arrives. Thank you for your time
Hi,.. Can you tell me where you got those specific spacers for the front brake install. I have bought the same fork and hydraulic calipers for my RadRunner and can not get the supplied adapters to work. Oh,... I'm just waiting on mine to come in the mail it'll be here in a few dayeah you're in a few days and I'd never really had any intentions to do a couple $1000 worth of worth of upgrades, I'm already thinking for the price that I'm paying for I could have built my ownI just really kind of like the style of itAnd hopefully I'll be satisfied with regardless of the Anti shocks
I believe for the fork you may not need anything, possibly a new front brake cable. Mine is so customized I can't say for certain.. Seat was just adding spacers and longer bolts.
I did the fork swap and the new one is 7/8” shorter than the stock one. I had to cut the stock headset collar/washer thing 7/8” shorter as well to get the bars back on. Pain to cut with a hacksaw but took my time and worked well. I also did need to put a longer brake line on as well.
@@josep6600 just checked out the website. They look great and have tons of options! I think I want to sell mine now too. Which model did you get and what’s your top speed?

His upgraded battery is from lite speed bikes. Don't buy anything from them. I don't know what happened but they don't respond to emails and won't ship anything.

Love the spacers under the passenger seat, brilliant.
I've used that same bike alarm on my rad mini for over a year now and it works great!
Alot of places for adult beverages, right on.
lol
Lol - I love picnics. With beverages. 👌🏼
Great idea for pannier hangers. Ill be using metal hose clamps instead of zip ties.

motor was a pain to install but definitely worth it IMO!
Yep, I can't wait to upgrade my Radrunner. I'm also thinking about how I'm going to make some custom saddle boxes.
Amazing upgrade!
Why suspension? Are you having trouble with control? That's what the suspension is for... So you can turn and brake.
Nice man - some
Serious upgrades on that runner, thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Thank you! Been fun to do so far!

I thought I mentioned it in the video - search the FB rad power bikes - upgrade group - I posted everything in there
The rear upgrade will always be longer, its set up for 7 speed freewheels.
I recently purchased a bafang true 750w , and as you mentioned the changing of the motors is difficult as dropout is 5mm smaller , so any tips on the swap?
You have to really wedge it in there and the freewheel spacer is a must before install
So if i upgrade the hub motor to bolton hub motor for my radrunner will it work ?
I did upgrade the display and the controller
The link for the bigger chainrings isnt working. Can you tell me what brand they are? Or at least what kind of chainring to look up.
So sorry - I got it on ebay and they might have gone away.
hi what's the full cost for what your showing ?
great question - I've definitely lost count but it is a tank!
How much did the front suspension cost?
I think it was around $200 USD
Great video new subscriber
Don’t you find the max speed a bit slow?
I'm usually with my kid so I'd almost prefer no ludicrous speed!
Really love what you have done to your Runner. Have you had any problems removing the rear wheel since doing the motor upgrade?
Believe it or not I haven't had to yet! I guess my sliming the tires is paying off!
Where did you get the kids seat? Can’t find it on Rads website..
Not from rad. From Mac-ride.com. See my other video on how I installed it 👌🏼

Hey does the Kids seat need to be modified even with the handlebar raiser ?
had to cut the aluminum collar - in my video #1
I was wondering how you extended your Kickstand. I got the suspension fork and my Kickstand is to short. Thanks
Sorry! I didn’t extend it at all. Still works
How much space do you have between the battery and the tire? im wondering if it will fit with my radrunner plus since they come with the fenders

Cormac O’Brien is surely Irish with a name like that
For the forks suspension would I have to modify anything since I have no kids seat like yours and also how did you lift the back seat higher
