Old Skool racing here. You gotta be willing to trim that thing up til you feel the wind blowing up your skirt! The boat needs to be flying not floatin'!
Back when I was younger I raced against Tim seebold in the Mod Vp APBA. Get used to flying the hull out of the water on the straightaway and drop it down before entering turns. Watch for the gusty wind on the water or you will blow over.

It’s really an amazing vessel. It really blew me away how responsive the whole boat is it talks to you and can feel every movement in your body. Can’t wait to run again.

Looks like Ya'll guys are having too much fun. Brings back a Flood of memories from when my family raced F2 (SST 120) boats. Its a hell of alot of fun Please remermber though.....As fun as those boats are they are not toys. They can hurt you and much more. Im telling you from experience . In the !2 years We raced I lost several guys that had become like family. It was cool of Tim to invite yall out to that race. The Seebolds are what most consider Boat Racing Royalty. I watched the old man Bill And his other son Mike win their share of races at what used to be the #1 Race on the F1 circuit which was River Race Augusta, in Augusta ,Ga. I still remember like it was yesterday.............Usually mid June-July, Sunday afternoon around 4:00 - 4:30 , 98-100 degree temps and a blue-gray cloud of race fuel and 2 stroke oil hanging over the Savanah River, Sweetest smell ever! The flag drops and 20-25 F1 boats leave the dock from a dead start all looking to get to turn 1 in the lead. Met so many wonderful people over the years but unfortunately with little sponsorship and a devastating barrel roll in Orlando Fl on Cranes Roost Lake left my brother with some physical injuries that he still battles today and we had to give it up. The 1 piece of advice I can offer you is to come up with a routine........Every time you are gonna go test, race or whatever , you and your guys do the same thing the same way each and every time. this way after a while you dont even have to think about it , every one of you know when and what each member of your crew is doing. Your buddies done a bang up job of giving the old Seebold a new life Boat looks great. Anyhow i've rambled enough. Been around circle track boats and outboard drag boats all my life so if you ever have a question feel free hit me up. Ya'll have fun and keep the great videos comin brother.

How do those who live on the lake feel about your boats? I know you and the guys are loving every minute.
Our neighborhood loves it, we see them out here all the time. We usually will sit on the dock and watch them do their thing.
Doesn't really matter how they feel. Water is public so they can do whatever they want as long they obey the state waterway laws. And they are not breaking any that I can see.

As far as the trim you need to trim down for corners and up for straights. If you start to porpoise on the straights touch the trim down a bump or two. Try to cut the corners a sharp as possible even if you have to throttle down to do it.

Love it! Your killing it. I love the color and pattern you got going on. I think you need some of that on your catch clean cook cabin. That way everybody knows when your on the water. Your logo and color at least just on the outside siding. Awesome job. Love your boats. The bros are rocking it❤❤
You can turn the fuel pump off and crank the motor to clean it out. Also, go to a SODA or ODBA race if they get close to you
And then there’s Corey - no protective headgear but at least he’s strapped in 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I used to watch the seebolds race here at lake osborne by my house in p.b.c. 35 yrs ago. Might been that boat. But it is seriou fast on the short lakes.

There's glow sticks holding the cockpit down. Totally not dangerous. I realize that when your driving the force of the air, and forward movement are pushing the cockpit down.

I do race rescue for tunnel hull boat races f1 here in michigan that 35.96 is a nice lap you did well just watch for gusty wind itll get up under that nose and over youll go so be careful buddy

im a 100ton master near coastal captain, from my exp. trim all the way down is for power and digging trim up as high as you can till its porpusing then slowly trim it down till it stops thats gonna be your fastest trim setting
also side note release the throttle later and when you release it start your turn and rethrottle half way thru

What is faster drag boat, F1 boat or search and rescue boat, the jet boat? And you should try this with the jetski without the cooler and unnecessary weight
Its crazy that the jetski is only .3 seconds slower than the F1😮😅
Why not go side by side with the jet boat to spray start it???? Or use the jet ski? Also maybe do like motor cycle riders and have in helmet coms?? Would be way better race day.

Starting fluid and 2 strokes is a big no no. No lube with carb clean/ starting fluid. and it cleans off the cylinder walls at the same time.

Seeing you in that closed cockpit gave me a panic attack! I am extremely clostraphobic!
I’m surprised we don’t see a trim indicator or a jack indicator
all done by feel seat of the pants or limits are set in the trim system so you hold the button and instantly trim to set location.
If you drag race them like. OST people do with those and the Allison drags should be a 100mph boat gotta trim it where it a riding on what they call a pad
tunnel boats don't have pads...lol they have tunnels....lol
Consider getting half face helmet. If you roll your boat you won’t be able to get your regulator on.
