The “first version” of your boat was a real race boat and had a fire suppression system in it vs a fire extinguisher. The extinguisher receptacle was connected to an emergency pull or auto deploy in case of fire. You should probably put one back on it. 😅
He won't pass tech inspection if he doesn't have the fire suppression system installed.
For certain class races of course assuming he'll race the damn thing

The guys working on the boat are the "Nautical Bros." One look on Google would have told you that they are experts at boat repairs and modifications. Also, F1 boats are among the safest of race boats.

Yes yes yesssssss omg I’ve been waiting love hydro planes. I grew up watching these boats race with my dad. The sound that they produce is amazing and watching them on the water is something else. Enjoy this and treat it right. Maintenance check it after every run and have fun

I think you should wrap every thing like this. Catch & cook cabin, both subs. Maybe parts of the coast guard boat but especially your truck. Seeing this thing being pulled down the road with a matching tow rig would be sick.

You want the center line of the lower unit even with the water surface with prop half out the water. Start with jackplate and trim down, jump on plane, trim up a little so the engine is perpendicular to the transom then start trimming up the jackplate

I worked turn 3 with the f1 races that were in town with the rescue squad in the 80s. When they are coming down the straight there was nothing but prop in the water.

Hey Jordan, Great work on the Seabold. I race over here in NZ. Word of advice, fit your belts properly and tight every time. If something goes wrong and it goes upside-down, your head will hit the top of the cockpit, and spinal/neck injuries will happen if not death. The second thing is to fit a trim gauge. Otherwise, great work 😊

It is a beautiful looking job on that boat. The trim has to be down all the way to take off and into the turns. Also make sure the lift is down to take off and into the turns. That boat love a 6"to 12" chop for top speed.🛥🛥

Try using your jackplate more. Once trimmed, start raising the engine a little

The extinguisher would be an auto system, pull a cord and it auto discharges to cover the battery and fuel tank in foam...
